10,000x Rebate System: Every Return Makes Me Stronger
Chapter 31: Abnormal DungeonAmon was already sitting in his usual seat when the classroom slowly began filling with students.
He leaned back against his chair and quietly opened the System.

Amon stared at his stats for several seconds before slowly nodding his head.
’Not bad.’
His physical attributes had increased considerably since he had first awakened.
The increase was even more noticeable after reaching Level 6.
’I’m still weaker than most people at the same level, but at least I’m moving in the right direction.’
Amon closed the System and leaned back in his chair, but before he could relax...
He heard several voices coming from the other side of the classroom.
"Didn’t you hear? Seraphina was with him again this morning."
"Seriously? Then the rumors might actually be true."
Another boy suddenly spoke loudly enough for everyone nearby to hear. "Obviously, he must have blackmailed her."
Amon’s eyebrow twitched as he slowly turned his head toward the boy who had spoken.
The student immediately noticed Amon looking at him, and his face changed.
"Uh..."
He quickly moved behind another student as though the person standing in front of him could somehow protect him from Amon.
Amon stared at him for a few seconds.
’Coward.’
He was about to say something when the classroom door suddenly opened.
Everyone immediately returned to their seats.
Miss Helena walked into the classroom carrying a thick stack of papers beneath one arm, while a crystal tablet was held in her other hand.
She placed everything on the teacher’s desk before looking around at the students. "I have some bad news."
The casual atmosphere inside the classroom immediately disappeared.
Several students straightened in their seats while others exchanged curious looks.
Helena picked up the crystal tablet and activated it.
A large image immediately appeared above the desk. Amon’s expression turned complicated the moment he saw it.
’That’s...’
The image showed a massive underground chamber with an enormous upside-down lake hanging from the ceiling.
A waterfall was flowing upward from the ground toward the floating body of water.
Amon immediately recognized it. ’That’s the dungeon I cleared yesterday.’
Miss Helena looked toward the class.
"This image was taken from the boss room of a newly formed dungeon discovered in Rove."
Several students stared at the strange environment with confused expressions.
"The dungeon was originally classified as a low-level dungeon, but the moment an adventurer entered, things changed."
Helena changed the image, showing several readings collected from inside the dungeon.
"The internal mana density was considerably higher than what we normally expect from a dungeon of this classification."
A few students began whispering among themselves.
Helena continued. "The monsters found inside also displayed unusual behavior."
Amon’s expression became slightly more serious. ’So they noticed something?’
"The weaker monsters were found in unusual concentrations, while several species appeared to be migrating away from deeper sections of the dungeon."
Helena then displayed another image, and this time, it showed the enormous eel-like creature Amon had fought.
"This was the dungeon boss."
The classroom immediately became quiet.
"The creature was officially measured at Level 5."
Several students relaxed slightly when they heard the number, but Helena wasn’t finished. "However, according to the report submitted after the dungeon was cleared, its actual combat strength was considerably higher."
She looked toward the class with a serious expression.
"The creature possessed enough physical strength and magical power to fight an ordinary Level 10 adventurer."
The students immediately became restless.
"What?"
"Level 5 with Level 10 strength?"
"How is that possible?"
Helena waited for the noise to settle before continuing. "The person who cleared the dungeon also reported the existence of an abnormal environment inside the boss room."
She picked up one of the papers from the desk. "This is the report submitted to the Adventure Bureau."
Amon recognized the document immediately. ’That’s my report.’
Helena’s eyes briefly moved toward Amon, but it was only for a moment. However, Amon noticed it.
She then continued reading. "The report describes an upside-down lake, abnormal mana behavior, and a boss whose strength significantly exceeded its recorded level."
Helena placed the paper down before activating another image.
The next picture appeared above the classroom.
Amon blankly looked at the image, which showed another dungeon chamber.
The environment wasn’t identical to the one he had visited, but there was an eerie similarity.
A massive body of water floated above the chamber while an unnatural waterfall flowed upward from the ground.
A few students immediately noticed the resemblance. "That looks like the other one."
Helena nodded.
"It does." She changed the image again. "This isn’t another Level 5 dungeon."
The classroom slowly became silent.
"This is the boss room of a Level 30 dungeon."
A silence lingered in the class for several seconds.
Amon stared at the image while his expression became increasingly serious.
’The same phenomenon exists in a Level 30 dungeon?’
Helena looked around the classroom before speaking again.
"At the moment, this is only a theory." She paused for several seconds.
"But based on the information we’ve gathered, I believe there is a possibility that high-level dungeon bosses may be appearing inside low-level dungeons."
The classroom erupted into whispers, and Amon remained completely silent.
’If that’s true...’ His fingers slowly tightened around the edge of his desk.
’Then the next dungeon won’t be the only dungeon with these phenomena.’
There could have been something much more dangerous waiting inside the next dungeon he visited.
And if the same phenomenon was appearing in multiple dungeons...
’Then something is definitely wrong.’
---
Classes eventually came to an end.
Amon packed his belongings and was about to leave when his phone suddenly vibrated inside his pocket.
He pulled it out and looked at the message, which was from Richard.
---
Richard: Come to the Adventure Bureau when you have time. We need to discuss your dungeon report.
---
Amon stared at the message for a moment. ’What does he want to talk about now?’
He wasn’t particularly surprised by the message, though.
The things he had seen inside the dungeon were unusual enough that the Adventure Bureau would obviously want more information.
’I should probably go.’
However, before heading there, Amon decided to return home and prepare himself.
---
Amon eventually arrived at his apartment and opened the front door.
"I’m back."
He stepped inside, expecting the usual silence, but instead, he immediately noticed Sidney sitting on the sofa.
She was looking at him with a strange smirk, her black hair highlighted by orange flowing around her.
Amon narrowed his eyes slightly. "What?"
Sidney didn’t answer as she simply continued looking at him with that irritating smile.
Amon ignored her and walked toward his room.
He opened the door and immediately froze. His entire room looked like a battlefield.
Clothes had been thrown across the floor, books were scattered around the room, and drawers had been opened.
Several of his belongings were lying in completely different places from where he had left them.
Amon’s expression slowly turned blank.
"....."
He stepped inside and looked around in disbelief before immediately turning toward the living room.
"SIDNEY!"
His shout echoed throughout the apartment as Amon rushed out of his room.
