The Bone Stitcher suddenly pulled both hands toward itself.

Amon’s eyes widened as the enormous mass of bones began spinning above him.

Hundreds of sharpened pieces twisted together into an uncanny shape. ’The fuck are these monsters, man.’

He immediately stepped backward and raised both hands.

Mana surged through his body before a thick layer of frost spread across the floor.

The temperature inside the chamber dropped rapidly, and a wave of ice rushed toward the Bone Stitcher.

The creature attempted to pull itself away, but the ice climbed over its legs and locked them against the ground.

Amon didn’t waste the opportunity.

He used Spatial Steps and appeared behind the creature, then grabbed one of its long arms and twisted it downward with enough force to slam its body against the frozen floor.

The Bone Stitcher let out a distorted screech.

At the same time, the enormous mass of bones above Amon suddenly began falling.

"Shit!"

Amon immediately disappeared.

The bones crashed into the ground with a tremendous impact, sending fragments flying across the chamber.

Amon reappeared near one of the walls and looked at the destruction.

A large section of the stone floor had been completely buried beneath the pile of bones.

’That would have hurt.’

He glanced toward the Bone Stitcher.

The creature was already pulling itself free from the ice.

Its long fingers moved through the air, and the bones scattered around the chamber immediately began trembling.

Amon sighed. "You really don’t know when to stop, do you?"

The Bone Stitcher raised its arms, and several dozen bones shot toward him.

Amon only used the Dragon Armor, as he didn’t even bother to move from the attack just to save mana.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The impact pushed him backward.

Some of the bones shattered against his armor, while others bounced across the floor.

Amon gritted his teeth as another wave came from his left.

He quickly raised his arm and allowed the armor to take the impact.

The sharp bones scraped against the black scales without leaving any marks.

’This armor is seriously useful.’

Amon kicked the ground and sent a burst of mana outward. The floor froze instantly.

The Bone Stitcher’s legs became trapped again.

Amon used Spatial Steps and appeared directly in front of it.

He grabbed one of its arms before it could move and slammed it against the ground.

The creature’s skeletal fingers twitched.

Amon immediately froze them. "Stay there."

He grabbed another arm and did the same thing.

The Bone Stitcher struggled violently, but its movements were becoming slower.

Amon looked at it carefully. ’It’s definitely stronger than the monsters from the first section, but it doesn’t have much physical strength.’

The dangerous part was its ability to control the surrounding bones.

As long as it had enough material around it, attacking the creature directly would be difficult.

Amon looked around the chamber.

There were still hundreds of bones hanging from the ceiling. ’So I just need to take away its toys.’

He raised his hand, and a massive wave of frost exploded outward.

The temperature dropped so quickly that frost began covering the ceiling.

The hanging bones froze in place.

Amon stepped forward and drew Soulpiercer.

The dark blade appeared in his hand, and the Bone Stitcher immediately began struggling harder.

Amon watched it for a moment. "You know, if you had just behaved, I wouldn’t have had to do this."

The creature suddenly opened its mouth, and a strange sound escaped from its throat.

Amon felt a sharp pressure inside his head. ’Spirit attack?’

He immediately circulated the Spirit Sovereign Scripture.

The pressure weakened, but the Bone Stitcher tried again.

This time Amon felt something attempting to interfere with his thoughts.

He frowned. "That’s actually pretty annoying."

He closed his eyes for a brief moment and focused on his spirit.

The strange pressure became clearer. It was attempting to disturb his concentration by sending countless fragments of foreign emotions into his mind.

Amon’s breathing became slower. ’So that’s your other ability.’

He strengthened his spirit with the Spirit Sovereign Scripture.

The foreign emotions were pushed away from his consciousness.

Amon opened his eyes.

"You’re not bad." He took another step toward the Bone Stitcher.

Amon put the Soulpiercer into the body of the monster.

The Bone Stitcher froze as a dark mist suddenly began leaking from its body.

Its skeletal frame trembled violently as the spirit inside it was pulled toward the blade.

Amon pushed the weapon deeper.

The creature’s fingers desperately reached toward him.

Its fingertips stopped only a few centimeters from his face.

Amon stared into its empty eye sockets.

The strings of spiritual energy connecting it to the bones throughout the room snapped one after another.

The remaining bones fell from the ceiling, and the chamber became completely silent.

[Spirit-related killing method confirmed.]

[Dungeon Time: 00:27:14]

[Speed Bonus: Moderate.]

Amon stared at the timer.

His expression became slightly disappointed.

"Twenty-seven minutes?" He looked at the corpse. "I really need to get faster."

He crouched down and examined the remains.

Unlike the previous monsters, the Bone Stitcher left behind a tiny white bead inside its chest.

Amon picked it up and used the Merchant’s Eyes to look into it.

[Spirit Fragment]

[Grade: Common]

[Description: A condensed fragment of spiritual energy formed after the death of a spirit-type creature.]

---

Amon looked at the small bead. "Can I use this?"

[It may be absorbed to increase the spirit.]

Amon’s eyes brightened up immediately. ’Useful.’

He placed the fragment into his spatial bracelet.

He then stood up and looked toward the passage at the far end of the chamber.

According to the map Richard had provided, that corridor would lead toward the second section of the dungeon.

Amon began to walk deeper into the dungeon as he found that his spirit cultivation had made some changes in his mind.

’...I feel like I am just a small step away from awakening some sort of skill.’

It was an intuition, but Amon was sure that it would happen soon.

As Amon walked, he finally arrived at the next section.

The moment he entered the next corridor, the temperature suddenly dropped.

Amon slowly pulled Soulpiercer from his waist.

He had just arrived at the place when something stepped out of the darkness.

Multiple monsters came out holding different types of weapons.

Amon drew in a deep breath as he walked inside the chamber. "Maximum effort."
