100X Returns: I Can Assign Quests to Anyone
Chapter 92: Ch 92: Immortal Blood"The Serpent Kingdom," the dragon hissed aloud. The physical sound of the beast’s hatred caused the ground to tremble violently.
"Long before you humans infested this digital plane, the system architects employed the serpentine races as their personal wardens. The scaled cowards did not fight my kind in open combat. They utilized administrative poison and corrupted system code to force us into slumber. They built their sprawling, venomous empire upon the buried bones of my ancestors."
Raidan remembered the Serpent Guild in the lower tiers of Olympus. He had butchered their leaders and shattered their monopoly to secure the foundation of his city. They were a ruthless, cold blooded syndicate. If they were merely a minor offshoot of a much larger continental superpower, going to war with them was inevitable anyway.
"So You want them eradicated," Raidan concluded.
"Yes. I want their colossal jade spires pulled down into the mud. I want the World Serpent, their supposed immortal god king, butchered and entirely deleted from the server. When you finally possess the strength to challenge the architects, you will march your vanguard into the toxic swamps of the east. You will burn the Serpent Kingdom to ash."
Raidan looked at the floating drop of primordial blood. It pulsed like a miniature, dying star. The heat radiating off it was enough to make his eyes water, yet it promised the absolute supremacy he desperately craved. Eighteen points of mana was a cosmic joke. The blood of a primordial calamity would completely rewrite his existence.
"I have already slaughtered their guild in my city. Burning their entire kingdom to the ground is perfectly aligned with my imperial interests. I accept your terms, Ignis. I will deliver the total destruction of the Serpent Kingdom."
"Then seal the pact in agony, anomaly," Ignis rumbled.
The dragon flicked its massive claw. The sphere of molten gold shot forward, hovering precisely one inch in front of Raidan’s mouth.
Raidan did not hesitate. He did not brace himself. He opened his mouth and swallowed the primordial blood.
For a brief, agonizing second, nothing happened. The thick, metallic taste of sulfur coated his tongue.
Then, absolute nuclear hell detonated inside his stomach.
Raidan let out a raw, guttural scream that echoed across the ruined mountain range. He collapsed onto the scorched stone, his back arching violently. The veins in his neck and arms instantly bulged, glowing with a terrifying, incandescent golden light. He felt as if he had swallowed a live volcano. The liquid fire surged through his circulatory system, forcibly incinerating his mortal blood cells and replacing them with highly concentrated, primordial mana.
Massive, violently red system windows began to cascade rapidly across his vision.

"Do not reject it! Force the blood to integrate! Subjugate the blood, or it will vaporize you from the inside out!" Ignis roared telepathically, watching the human thrash upon the cracked stone.
Raidan could barely hear the dragon. The pain was entirely beyond human comprehension. His skin began to crack and splinter, revealing bright golden light shining through the fissures of his flesh. His SSS+ class, the Quest Originator, sensed the fatal threat and attempted to aggressively delete the invading draconic energy.
Raidan forced his eyes open. His irises were no longer emerald green; they were burning solid gold. He activated his Ultra Mana Control.
He stopped fighting the pain. He focused every ounce of his unparalleled willpower into dominating the catastrophic energy tearing his body apart. He mentally seized the golden fire ravaging his veins, utilizing his microscopic precision to force the primordial blood to synchronize with his human code. It was a brutal, internal war of attrition. He commanded the system to stop purging the anomaly and instead accept the violent evolution.
The system interfaces flickered erratically, changing from jagged crimson to a chaotic blend of gold and deep purple.

The golden light radiating from Raidan’s cracking skin suddenly intensified, blindingly bright. A shockwave of pure, untamed kinetic energy erupted from his body, shattering the ground beneath him and creating a massive crater in the obsidian rock.
Raidan gasped violently for air, slamming his fists into the ground. The agonizing burning sensation rapidly faded, replaced by an intoxicating, boundless ocean of absolute power. The physical cracks on his skin sealed instantly. The devastating injuries inflicted by the dragon’s plasma breath vanished completely.
He slowly pushed himself to his feet. The air no longer felt suffocatingly hot. The sulfurous environment felt perfectly comfortable, welcoming, and entirely natural. He looked down at his hands. His pale skin looked perfectly normal, but beneath the surface, a terrifying, draconic strength thrummed with every heartbeat.
A new, pristine golden system window materialized before him.

Raidan stared at the numbers. One hundred and fifty thousand mana points. He clenched his fist, feeling the raw, catastrophic energy coiled perfectly within his grasp. He was no longer an insect relying entirely on physical attributes and precise trickery. He was a walking engine of devastation.
Ignis lowered its massive head, inspecting the tiny hybrid standing in the crater. The dragon’s ancient eyes widened slightly in genuine surprise.
"You survived," the World Breaker rumbled, "Your mortal vessel did not shatter. You have successfully claimed the blood."
"I told you. I am the Verdian Emperor. I do not die to mere blood integration."
Raidan turned his attention to the surrounding valley. Now that he possessed a massive draconic mana pool, he could see the invisible architecture of the world perfectly. He activated his Quest Originator class, scanning the environment.
Thick, glowing chains made of corrupted Energy wrapped entirely around the Jonas Mountains, plunging deep into the earth and anchoring directly into the dragon’s soul. These were the tethers placed by the true administrators.
Raidan raised his right hand. He did not need to conserve his mana anymore. He flooded ten thousand points of pure primordial energy into his Ultra Mana Control skill.
He formed a blade of concentrated, vibrating spatial magic extending from his fingertips. The invisible blade hummed with a terrifying frequency, distorting the air around it.
"Stand perfectly still," Raidan commanded the colossal beast.
Raidan swung his arm in a wide, sweeping arc. The spatial blade cleaved through the superheated air, slicing directly into the glowing digital chains binding the dragon to the mountain.
The sound of the metal shattering was deafening. It sounded like breaking glass amplified a million times over...
.The corrupted chains snapped violently, disintegrating into harmless gray static before fading entirely from reality.
A massive tremor shook the entire continent as the geographical anchor was violently severed.
[ Warning: Restricted Calamity Entity released from designated zone. ]
[ System administrators alerted. ]
Ignis let out a triumphant, earth shattering roar that tore the dark clouds of ash entirely apart, revealing the bruised purple sky above. The World Breaker spread its colossal leathery wings, generating a localized hurricane that sent boulders flying across the valley.
"I am free," Ignis bellowed, the sound echoing across the heavens. "The administrators will weep in terror tonight, anomaly. Remember our pact. The Serpent Kingdom must burn."
BUZZZZZZ!
With a single, thunderous beat of its wings, the primordial dragon launched itself into the sky. It soared higher and higher, a massive crimson comet streaking toward the southern horizon, fully intent on unleashing absolute havoc upon the server.
Raidan watched the beast disappear into the clouds. A cold, satisfied smile graced his lips. He had just unleashed a weapon of mass destruction upon the world, and it was the perfect distraction.
He walked over to the pile of smoking rubble where his loyal guard lay motionless. Kael was barely breathing, his dark armor entirely ruined.
Raidan knelt beside him. He placed his hand upon Kael’s broken chest. He channeled a tiny fraction of his newly acquired, massive mana pool, mimicking the healing properties of Naida’s radiant magic. Golden flames gently washed over Kael’s body, cauterizing his wounds and stabilizing his vitals.
Kael gasped, his eyes flying open in sheer panic. He immediately tried to summon his spear.
"Stand down, Kael! "The battle is over. We won."
Kael blinked rapidly, looking around the empty, devastated valley. The crushing pressure of the dragon was entirely gone. He looked up at Raidan, noticing the faint, golden luminescence radiating from his Emperor’s eyes.
"You defeated the calamity?" Kael asked in complete awe.
"I made a very lucrative business transaction. Come. We are returning to Olympus. The true administrators are going to send their very best assassins to kill us, and I want to be sitting perfectly on my throne when they arrive."
The Verdian Empire was no longer just a sanctuary for the discarded players of the lower districts. It was now the epicenter of a continental war. Raidan activated his spatial teleportation matrix, wrapping himself and his guard in brilliant emerald light.
The Verdian Emperor was finally ready to tear down the heavens.
