Kellan Sutton’s words immediately livened up the atmosphere in the living room, drawing a ripple of laughter.

"All gentlemen voting must be under thirty years old! And since we’re excusing the older gentlemen, to be fair, the older ladies can’t be candidates for Goddess either! You can all just look forward to being the mothers of a Goddess!"

Seraphina Sterling glanced at Kellan Sutton. ’He’s a little cunning,’ she thought. ’The rules he’s proposed have conveniently eliminated all the conditions that would have been in my favor. A large portion of the guests here today are middle-aged men. Between what I just said and Felix Gallagher’s influence, I’ve likely made a good impression on them. If they were allowed to vote, chances are most of them would vote for me.’

’But with Kellan Sutton’s new rules, no man over thirty can vote. That leaves almost no one but Faye Sterling’s own clique. It’s obvious who will end up winning this ridiculous ’Goddess’ title.’

"Alright, let the voting begin!" After setting down the microphone, Kellan Sutton took the lead. He walked right up to Faye Sterling and presented his rose to her.
