In the search for his home, Fang Zun had already killed many, many people and toppled down hundreds of families and cities, countries, empires even, and no one stood in his way.
That was why the Fang family was considered the most powerful existence in the entirety of the realm of cultivation.
He understood just how powerful Fang Zun truly was, after being inside his mind and observing for this long period.
He saw just how powerful and insanely dangerous this man was.
He was no normal cultivator and no normal human.
The longing for his home and the longing for his family at that regard had made him into an insane bucket of emotional humanity, with as well the ruthless existence of a cultivator that had never faced a peaceful day in his life.
Li Jiwen thought about the matter and thought about Fang Zun for the longest time now.
He could say that he could not truly figure out this man, or what exactly he was wanting after all these years.
Was he truly wanting to go home, or was he just hunting for power for his own?
Li Jiwen did not dwell too much.
He was observing, he was learning, and he was gathering information as much as possible.
He understood just how powerful and how exactly important information was, and how important his own existence was.
He watched as Fang Zun finally reached the very bottom of the abyss.
He looked around, his voice echoing through the endless void of the abyss.
"Come out now, old ones."
Finally, three ancient snakes the sizes of mountain ranges slowly slipped through the darkness.
In front of Fang Zun, all of them bowed their heads to Fang Zun and said, "We hail you, king of the equals."
Fang Zun did not like the formalities, and he said swiftly, "No, no, let us not sit ourselves too much with the formalities of humans, shall we?"
Finally, he said, "The only matter that is of great importance at the moment is that we need to communicate with others from different timelines to see when exactly that little kid could appear, how we could find him and hunt him down."
"You understand how important this thing is for me, and that if there is even a little chance or a minuscule chance to not succeed in the matter, then every person involved, whether it be you or little pieces of you or anyone that is in the mission and they do not succeed, then I would see to them myself."
"You understand what the consequences of that would be."
The three snakes nodded their heads, long, python-like, dark, and scaly.
Their red eyes piercing through the darkness of that place and looking exactly at Fang Zun’s own existence.
There was hatred, but at the very same time there was respect and reverence.
Li Jiwen could tell that these three were defeated horribly by Fang Zun and he took control of them all by his own hands.
This was probably one of the similarities between both him and Fang Zun.
They did not trust anyone, and they understood that taking things with your own hand and your powers were much more viable than trusting any other person.
He watched, observed.
Now Fang Zun gave another order, and he said, "Hunt the Heavenly Dao’s own fate warriors. I want to see something for myself in this time. Understood?"
The three snakes nodded their scaly heads, their red eyes still piercing, ancient like they were for billions of years.
The oldest of them said, "King, our king, my king. Shall I ask you for something?"
Fang Zun nodded and said, "What is it, old Ao?"
The snake spoke, his voice like that of a literal god of snakes that had descended into the mortal realm.
"My king, I ask you, why? Why exactly are you waiting all this time? You could have escaped through the dream realm and ventured into the Primordial Sea and what is beyond of the primordial sea itself."
"Why wait? Why wait for that kid? Why wait for that little man that is of no use to any of your own abilities?"
"They are already powerful, as powerful as that of a literal existence of the Saint Immortal realm."
"Why wait, why waste time and life and pain and suffering in these tries and its literal backwater world, if I may ask, my king? You have been here in this bubble, in this exact multiverse for the past what? One quadrillion years now or so."
Fang Zun’s eyes were peaceful like that of an old grandpa.
He looked, and his eyes pierced through the darkness of the abyss into the heavens above and through the heavens into the Primordial Sea itself.
He said, "You will never understand, old Ao. This is something that is not of your business, but I will tell you a little secret. This world is much more interesting and much more important than you could ever imagine. You will understand in the future what I mean by that."
Then he stopped talking and said, "Now go to your missions. I want the missions to be done in the meantime and as fast as possible. You know that the heavenly Dao is watching and that entity as well, wanting to intervene. You understand what you must do."
The three giant snakes nodded their heads, then slowly they disappeared backwards.
Their red eyes still glowing through the darkness, then disappearing with them as well.
The scaly and the hissing of the snakes still echoing through the dark place.
Li Jiwen could tell that Fang Zun was waiting for him to take the system and try to return home.
But why exactly was this world so important?
Even his own parasitic abilities could not tell what Fang Zun was thinking about at this moment.
This power and this ability was probably not even Fang Zun’s own, but something much stronger, much higher. Much more transcendental.
