Absolute Loser Becomes The Pleasure King Using Satan System
Chapter 105.Special Friendship-1Chapter 105: 105.Special Friendship-1
"Hey! Ladies... and Mylo," an oily voice called out as footsteps hurried up behind them.
Mac slid into Brandy’s blind spot, slicking back his hair with an exaggerated, predatory grin. "Brandy, my queen. The morning was entirely gray until you walked onto this courtyard. Tell me, why are you ruining those gorgeous legs walking when my Benz is parked fifty yards away? Leather seats, heated backrests... let me drive you to class."
Brandy didn’t even slow down. "Mac, if you don’t take three steps back, I’m kicking your shin until you need a wheelchair to get to class."
"Feisty," Mac laughed, unfazed. "Playing hard to get only works if you don’t look that delicious doing it."
"It’s not playing hard to get, you absolute parasite," she spat. "Mylo, trip him."
"I’d rather not get grease on my boots," Mylo replied dryly.
Reina hid a small, nervous giggle behind her cardigan sleeve, peering over her glasses as Mac’s smirk twitched for a fraction of a second.
"Laugh all you want, Zane," Mac scoffed. "Some of us actually have taste."
They entered the lecture hall, leaving Mac behind as students filed in. Brandy shot him one last venomous glare before heading down toward her design classmates, while Mylo and Reina took their seats in a quiet row near the back.
The moment they sat down, Reina rested her chin on her desk, peering shyly at him from behind her frames.
"Um... Mylo?" she whispered, nervously twisting the corner of her notebook.
"Yeah?"
"Did you... you didn’t throw that manga away, did you?" Her cheeks dusted pink. "You probably thought it was completely childish..."
Mylo reached into his jacket, letting the ridiculous cover flash for a second before slipping it back in. "Childish? Reina, the Bloodthirsty Tyrant Duke’s mother picked the heroine solely based on her ankle symmetry. That’s pure cinematic madness."
Reina gasped, slapping both hands over her mouth, her amber eyes lighting up. "You read it! You actually read it!"
"Three Chapters," Mylo smiled. "And you weren’t kidding about the older brother. Slicing a chandelier in half while dropping a one-liner was clean."
"Right?!" Reina leaned closer, her shyness completely melting away. "Everyone thinks he’s just a cocky jerk, but in volume two, you find out he did it to save the maid underneath! He carries the entire arc!"
"If you say so," Mylo chuckled softly, watching her glasses slip down her nose as she gestured wildly. "I’ll hold you to that when I get to volume two."
Reina beamed, tucking a loose lock behind her ear with a happy, flustered blush.
When the lecture ended an hour later, Mylo checked his phone.
"Mylo, wait!"
A small hand caught his jacket sleeve. He turned to find Reina looking up at him, biting her lip.
"Can we... talk for a minute?" she asked softly, shifting nervously. "Just outside? Please?"
Mylo noticed the sudden tremor in her voice and nodded. "Sure, Reina. Let’s step out."
Back in the thinning lecture hall, Brandy was packing her drafting tools into her portfolio when a shadow blocked the aisle.
"Brandy," Mac said.
"Out of the way, Mac," she muttered, not looking up. "I’m late for studio."
"Come grab lunch with me," Mac said, his voice flat, completely stripped of its playful veneer.
"I said no. How many languages do you need to hear it in?" She swung her bag over her shoulder and tried to push past.
Mac’s hand shot out, his fingers clamping hard around her wrist.
Brandy froze, her eyes blazing. "Let go of me before I break your fingers."
"Why do you always treat me like garbage?" Mac hissed, his face contorting into an ugly scowl as he yanked her arm. "I drive you around, I offer you money, I try to treat you like a princess, and you act like I’m a beggar! Then you go around giggling with Zane? What does that broke, useless loser have that I don’t?!"
"He isn’t a pathetic, desperate creep," Brandy snarled, jerking her arm back with full force. "Take your hands off me, Mac!"
A few students turned their heads, murmuring.
Mac saw the glances, and his expression instantly snapped. The fury vanished, replaced by an exaggerated, theatrical gasp as he stepped back with both hands raised, looking utterly devastated.
"Shit... Brandy, I’m sorry!" Mac stammered, running a frantic hand through his hair, putting on his best wounded-puppy face. "I lost it. I’m so sorry. My dad’s been breathing down my neck about the family business and I just... I haven’t been sleeping. Seeing you ignore me every day just broke me. I’m an idiot."
Brandy rubbed her red wrist, staring at him with cold suspicion. "Save the drama."
"No, really, let me make it up to you," Mac pleaded, his voice oozing desperate charm. "Just a quick iced latte and a muffin across the street. Five minutes. A proper apology treat, and I swear on my mother I won’t bother you for the rest of the week. Please? Just five minutes so we don’t leave things ugly?"
Brandy glared at him. The idea of him leaving her alone for an entire week was too good to pass up.
"Five minutes," she said coldly. "And you keep your hands to yourself."
"Deal! I swear, total gentleman," Mac said quickly, bowing slightly and pointing toward the door. "Lead the way."
Brandy adjusted her portfolio and walked past him toward the hallway.
The instant her back turned, the remorseful look on Mac’s face vanished. A sickening, smug grin carved across his lips as his eyes locked onto the sway of her hips.
Play tough all you want, you arrogant little bitch, he thought, touching the small vial tucked safely inside his pants pocket. Acting like you’re above me? After today, you’ll be on your knees begging for it. You’re not going anywhere.
The corridor near the old archives was practically deserted, the low hum of campus life muted behind heavy double doors. Sunlight barely filtered through the high, arched windows, casting long, dim shadows across the linoleum floor.
Mylo stopped, turning to face her. "Reina? What’s going on? You’ve been acting jumpy ever since the lecture let out."
Is this about the manga? Or did something happen at the dorms? Mylo wondered, his brows knitting slightly. With everything brewing with the syndicate, I hope she hasn’t gotten caught in the crosshairs...
Reina stood with her head down, her bangs curtaining her face. Her small hands were clenched tightly into the hem of her oversized cardigan, trembling so much that the pastel fabric shook. Her breathing came shallow and fast, her chest rising and falling beneath her clothes.
"Reina?" Mylo took a step closer, keeping his voice gentle. "Talk to me. Are you okay?"
Suddenly, Reina stepped forward and grabbed his hand.
Her fingers were burning hot, wrapping around his palm with desperate, shaking urgency. She lifted her head, her round glasses slightly askew on the bridge of her nose. Her entire face was painted a feverish, crimson red, extending down the soft slope of her neck, while her amber eyes brimmed with a dizzying mix of panic, shame, and raw, frantic heat.
"Mylo..." she whispered, her voice cracking as a trembling breath spilled past her parted, glossy lips. "I... I can’t hold it back anymore..."
Mylo froze, feeling the fierce heat radiating straight from her skin into his own. "Hold what back?"
Reina squeezed his hand tighter, pulling it against her chest so hard he could feel the frantic, rabbit-like thumping of her heart.
"I tried to stop thinking about it... all night, all morning... but seeing you with Brandy, seeing you look at me..." Tears of sheer embarrassment pricked the corners of her eyes, but she didn’t let go. "Mylo, please... my body feels like it’s on fire... I can’t control myself any longer..."
