His hand dropped limply back to the cold ground.

Closing his eyes, he cursed himself silently.

He stared into thin air for ten seconds.

Although he had failed to execute his original strategy, it didn’t mean the information he had gathered was false. He had just failed to make use of it properly.

Going forward, he would have to go after big monsters, meaning physical strength was going to be most important.

If that’s the case, then I can freely increase my raw abilities.

Satisfied with his logic, or perhaps just too exhausted to overthink it any longer, he decided to upgrade his raw physical stats.

Taking a few quick, trembling breaths, he gripped the cold bone of the antler with both hands. He didn’t want to move it at all, but he had no choice.

His eyes almost rolled back, his hands trembled in pain.

He braced himself, locking his grip tighter.

With one violent, agonizing motion, he yanked the antler free from his flesh.

Gah!

Deep, shuddering gasps ripped from his lungs. The pain was so excruciatingly intense that his brain threatened to shut down entirely.

He continued to chant it relentlessly until his Pran dropped to a point where he couldn’t cast any more spells.
