Chapter 591: Chapter 590: A bright start

Keith was still fighting when he suddenly heard a voice filled with panic.

"Run!"

He frowned and immediately looked up.

For a moment, he couldn’t understand what he was seeing.

The sun and worse it looked as though it was getting closer.

Keith’s eyes widened.

"What the..."

That wasn’t possible.

The sun couldn’t suddenly fall toward them.

Then he realized the truth.

It was the massive sphere of energy created by the battle between the two Ancestors.

Keith’s expression changed.

"Run!"

Kiro, who was fighting nearby, also looked up.

His expression became extremely serious.

The people around them had already begun running in every direction as the entire battlefield descended into chaos.

Hundreds of thousands of people were trying to escape at the same time making the battlefield too crowded.

Some ran to nearby forest which others tried to enter the cities, believing the buildings could protect them.

But none of them knew whether they would survive the descending sphere of death.

It was nearly ten thousand kilometers in diameter, just looking at it was enough to make even Peak Rank 0 experts feel despair.

High above them, the two Ancestors had also realized something was wrong as the sphere headed towards the Ynvashi Kingdom.

If it landed.., the entire kingdom would be devastated.

Countless cities would disappear, mountains would be erased and forests would be reduced to nothing.

Even the strongest ordinary Rank 0 experts would have difficulty surviving the resulting destruction with only the strongest Peak Rank 0 beings with slim chance of survival.

The Molak Ancestor looked at the approaching sphere with an ugly expression.

"We need to stop it."

The Royal Ancestor’s expression was equally serious.

"How?"

The Molak Ancestor remained silent for a moment.

Then he shook his head.

"We can’t attack it."

The Royal Ancestor frowned as he asked "Why?"

The Molak Ancestor pointed toward the massive sphere.

"Because it has already reached its limit"

"Our attacks were colliding too quickly. Before the energy from one collision could disperse, another attack struck it. Then another."

"The energy kept accumulating."

"It has reached a point where even the slightest additional force could cause everything to explode."

The Royal Ancestor’s expression became serious.

"So if we attack it..."

"It will explode immediately."

The Molak Ancestor nodded.

"And the Ynvashi Kingdom below it will be the first to bear it, then even this continent might follow.

For a moment, neither of them spoke as they watched massive sphere descending while the army on the ground were already scattered desperately running for cover.

The molak family ancestor eyes became complicated then he looked at the Royal Ancestor as he asked solemnly.

"Can you die for your people?"

The Royal Ancestor’s eyes widened as he heard this, his fingers trembling as he spoke

"What?"

The molak family ancestor sighed as he spoke

"What I’m about to suggest could kill us and not only that if we were to fail, a whole continent goes down with us too"..,

The Royal Ancestor looked at him for several seconds as he tried to process what he was hearing. Then his expression slowly became calm.

"Tell me what to do."

The Molak Ancestor was slightly surprised by this answer , he couldn’t help but ask.

"You don’t need to think about it?"

The Royal Ancestor shook his head in response.

"Dying for my people isn’t the issue."

His eyes turned toward the massive sphere.

"This thing must not reach the ground."

For a moment, the Molak Ancestor stared at his old friend.

Then he understood.

Perhaps they had never truly been that different. Both of them had people they wanted to protect.

They had simply ended up standing on opposite sides.

The Molak Ancestor took a deep breath.

" yes, we can’t attack no destroy it but we should have no problem moving it "..,

The Royal Ancestor eyes brighten for a while, that could actually work. With their ability to walk through the void, they could actually transport the sphere from hitting the Ynvashi directly to some where far away but one question remains...

"Where?"

The Royal Ancestor asked with a puzzled expression.

The Molak Ancestor continued thinking as he glanced at the huge size of the sphere. Even if they found an empty area, the explosion wouldn’t simply destroy the place where it landed.

The shockwave would spread across tens of thousands of kilometers.

They couldn’t sacrifice another kingdom just to save the Ynvashi Kingdom, jusg then the Royal Ancestor suddenly looked upward.

"What about the sky?"

The Molak Ancestor froze as the royal Ancestor pointed toward the heavens. It was crazy but that could work.

"There is nothing up there, no matter what happnes, the damage will remain up there, besides ee don’t have time to find another place."..., The Royal Ancestor said trying to convince him.

The molak Ancestor looked at his old.friend for a while before nodding..

"Fine."

"We’ll do it."

Then the two Ancestors moved.

BOOM!

Their bodies instantly disappeared from their previous positions.

They descended toward the massive sphere.

As they approached it, the surrounding space began trembling violently.

The energy contained inside the sphere was terrifying.

Even approaching it made their bodies feel as though they were being crushed.

The Molak Ancestor stretched out his hand.

"Breaking the Void."

The space in front of him suddenly distorted.

It wasn’t simply a matter of breaking space.

There was another layer hidden within the void.

A thin and unstable layer of space.

By entering it, they could shorten the distance between two points.

It was an extremely dangerous ability.

If someone attacked them while they were inside that layer, the unstable space could collapse.

And if that happened...

They could be lost within the void forever.

But at this moment, they had no choice.

The two Ancestors entered the unstable layer of space and appeared directly beneath the massive sphere.

"Now!"

They both extended their hands.

Their terrifying strength erupted.

The massive sphere began moving slowly towards the unstable space.

The two Ancestors gritted their teeth as they pushed the enormous mass of accumulated energy upward.

Ten thousand kilometers.

A sphere that was ten thousand kilometers in diameter, even for Fifth-Step Quasi-Rank 1 beings, moving something like this was almost impossible but they couldn’t stop.

Finally, the sphere reached the upper atmosphere.

The two Ancestors immediately retreated.

"Go!"

They used Breaking the Void once again and escaped.

Then they looked back.

For a brief moment...

Everything was silent.

The massive sphere trembled.

Then—

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A second sun appeared in the sky.

Across the entire Mortal Realm, people looked upward in shock.

"What is that?"

Nobody knew.

The explosion was so massive that it could be seen from almost everywhere.

Then the shockwave arrived.

BOOM!

The earth trembled violently.

Mountains collapsed.

Forests were flattened.

Cities shook.

Buildings collapsed one after another.

The seas erupted as enormous waves spread across the oceans.

Tsunamis swept across countless coastlines.

Volcanoes that had remained dormant for thousands of years suddenly erupted.

The sky itself seemed to split apart by the attack as space cracked.

A massive spatial tear spread across the heavens as the terrifying energy from the explosion ripped through the Mortal Realm.

The two Ancestors had thought the explosion would be powerful enough to destroy a continent but the were wrong, terribly wrong.

The energy had been accumulating for far too long.It wasn’t simply one attack added to another but they had reacted with one another becoming something far more terrifying than what either Ancestor had calculated.

The damage they had predicted wasn’t even one-fifth of what the explosion actually produced.

And that explosion changed everything as the mortal Realm suddenly trembled.

Then...

A massive wave of energy poured into the world , it was as though the entire realm had suddenly opened its mouth and taken a breath.

Energy flooded everywhere as people who had been stuck at the Peak Rank 0 Realm suddenly felt their bottlenecks disappear.

One after another...

Their auras exploded.

BOOM!

A Peak Rank 0 expert broke through.

Quasi-Rank 1.

Then another.

And another.

Across the Mortal Realm, countless people experienced breakthroughs but the changes didn’t stop there.

The Mortal Realm itself began expanding.

The land stretched, the oceans widened and mountains rose from the ground as ancient ruins that had disappeared thousands upon thousands of years ago suddenly emerged from the ground.

But they weren’t the only things returning , ancient cities were returning to and with them were lost civilizations that had existed before the current era began.

For countless generations, the people of the Mortal Realm had believed that much of their history had been lost forever.

They had only heard stories about the ancient age.An age when the Mortal Realm had once been far more powerful, an age when the Mortal Realm had supposedly stood almost equal to the Upper Realm.

But that history was returning and with it, the bloodlines of ancient families began reacting.

Some people discovered inheritances belonging to their ancestors while others found records of civilizations that had been completely erased from history.

******

Somewhere far away...

A mysterious figure quietly watched the transformation.

The owner of the mysterious organization had come to the Mortal Realm because he had received information that something was happening here.

He didn’t know exactly what it was after all he was just a dog in the Upper realm but what he knew was that the first person to gain control of the Mortal Realm would benefit the most from whatever was coming.

Now...

He finally understood why...

********

Meanwhile, the changes continued, the explosion had not only opened a floodgates of pure energy but it had also weakened the stability of space.

Previously, only Quasi-Rank 1 beings could even interact with the void with their ability but now..

Even Middle-Level Rank 0 beings could break through space.

The space of the Mortal Realm had become extremely fragile and with it, zone could suddenly be teleported to an extremee environment or a lost ancient civilization.

Thud!

Two beings fell on one another as they groaned

" what..what was that ?".., keith couldn’t help but ask as kiro stood up, his head slightly ringing.

" I don’t know , we seem to have fallen into a hole that appeared out of nowhere where ".., Kiro frowned as he spoke...

The two during the chaos and frantic running had suddenly fallen into a hole and now, they felt they had appeared in an entire new area but before they could even look around they suddenly felt a presence around them as their body froze in palce.
