Lor set the empty water glass down on the table and stood.

"Thanks for the water," he said. "And for telling what happened with Ameth. That was useful. And I’m glad I didn’t kill you in the forest today."

He turned toward the door as if the conversation had already ended.

Kuri’s hand moved before the thought finished forming. She grabbed the half-full glass of dark juice and flung it at his back with real force. The glass left her fingers hard enough that the liquid inside surged forward in a sharp wave.

Lor turned just enough. His hand came up and caught it cleanly in mid-air. The juice rose hard toward the rim, about to spill over, then reversed direction as a thin thread of mana flickered across his fingers. The liquid settled back into the glass as if it had never moved.

He looked at the glass in his hand, then at her.

Kuri’s eyes widened.

"Don’t you dare—"

He flicked his wrist. The glass shot back at her in a short, sharp arc.

She tried to sidestep left. Her boots scraped against the wooden floor. He had already read the movement. The glass followed her shift perfectly.

The juice hit her square across the chest.

Cold liquid exploded against the short black top. It soaked through the fabric in an instant, turning it dark and translucent.

The cloth clung tightly to the full shape of her breasts, outlining every curve and the hard points of her nipples.

Juice ran down the deep line between them, across the bare strip of her midriff, and dripped from the hem in slow, sticky trails onto the front of her pants.

Kuri froze for a full second, arms half-raised, staring down at herself.

The cold wetness mixed with the residual mess still clinging between her legs made her skin crawl.

A low, unwanted pulse of heat moved through her lower stomach. Her face went red with pure rage.

"You bastard!"

Lor let out a quiet, genuine giggle. He set the empty glass on a nearby shelf and turned for the door again.

"See you at the academy."

His hand reached for the handle.

Kuri’s arm lifted toward his back on its own. Her fingers opened, then closed.

She forced the hand back down to her side before he could notice. She stood there breathing hard, top plastered to her skin, juice still dripping onto the floor.

The sticky feeling between her thighs had not faded. Every small shift of her weight made it more obvious. She hated that her body still reacted at all.

"...Lor."

He stopped and looked back over his shoulder.

"What?"

Kuri’s jaw was locked tight. She raised one finger and pointed at the scattered books and notebooks on the dining table without looking at them.

"Teach me."

The words came out flat and irritated, like the request itself offended her. She kept her eyes fixed on his face and refused to glance down at the way the soaked cloth stuck to her.

Lor’s gaze moved from her flushed face to the open notebooks.

Messy equations. Half-erased spell diagrams. Practice circles drawn, crossed out, and redrawn multiple times. The whole table looked messy.

He turned fully around.

"I can teach you," he said. "But I’ll need to perform the Guiding Light ritual."

Kuri’s lip curled hard.

"You’re a lying scoundrel and that Guiding Light of yours is fake. You are tricking our classmates into fulfilling your pervert dreams. Anyone with half a brain can see it."

Lor laughed.

"That makes things easier then." He stepped closer to the table, still smiling. "In exchange for the lessons, give me your holes. Do you like my honesty?"

Disgust twisted across Kuri’s face immediately.

At the same time a low, traitorous heat pulsed again in her lower abdomen making her pussy twitch.

She hated this new feeling.

She crossed her arms under her wet chest. The movement only made the soaked fabric pull tighter and outline the full shape of her breasts more clearly. She forced her expression to stay hard and refused to acknowledge the heat.

"I’m not paying you with anything. You must be a fool to think that this would work?"

Lor’s smile faltered for the first time that night. He blinked once.

"...Why?"

"Because I know what you’re doing." Kuri’s voice stayed sharp, but there was real calculation underneath it now.

"I know that you’re trying to push Class D into Class C. My scores will matter for the average. If you want the whole class to move up, you need me better than I am right now. So you teach me for free. No rituals. No h holes. Nothing."

The room went quiet except for the soft, steady drip of juice hitting the floor near her boots.

Outside, a cart rolled past on the distant street.

The lamp on the wall flickered once, sending a brief shift of light across the scattered books and the wet patches on her clothes.

Lor looked at her for a long moment. His eyes moved over the wet top, the crossed arms, the stubborn set of her jaw, and the open notebooks between them.

Then the smile returned, slower this time and sharper around the edges.

"Fine," he said. His tone stayed light, almost pleasant.

"If you want to flunk the theory test, that’s your choice. I’ll just give a few extra lessons to someone else. Lia. Sophia. Myra. Or Olivia. Or maybe Nellie again. Raise their scores high enough to cover whatever you fail by. The class average will still go up. You can score whatever you want to, and I will score whomever I want to."

He said it like he was discussing the weather. His eyes never left hers. The calm in his voice made the words land harder.

Kuri’s fingers dug into her own arms hard enough that her nails pressed against her skin.

A fresh drip of juice ran down her midriff and disappeared under the waistband of her pants. She kept her face hard and refused to look down at herself.
