A/N: Hey guys... I feel like I owe you an explanation for disappearing for a while.

I’m really sorry for not updating like I should. My brain has honestly been all over the place lately, and life just... hit hard.

A close family member of mine has been battling cancer since October, and it affected all of us more than I can even explain. We were holding onto hope for so long, but we lost him last month. It’s been really draining, mentally, emotionally, everything wise.

I’m still trying to process the shock and the pain, so I’m taking things one step at a time. But I’m back now, slowly finding my way again.

"He’ll throw you out Osvaldo, it’s not a good idea." Darlington said worriedly but Osvaldo looked like his mind was already made up. His Penguin and children was in very deep trouble and if they stayed here one more time, he might not be able to save them.

Polar was a dangerous man. Osvaldo hated that just like his father, he hadn’t killed him yet. It turns out Polar was as good as disguise as he was.

He didn’t care if the only way to save Penny and the children was to reveal his face to them.

"Do you want my children dead?" Osvaldo asked his grandfather who was silent.

"You’re alive and well." Darlington said. "I... I can protect the children and your wife. But you need to save yourself first Osvaldo. Know that you’re a threat to the Bloodsworth family. They’ll shoot you dead if they see you here, Xavier was very serious about it." Darlington warned.

"You’re here right? Penny is safest with you around." Darlington added.

"Let things be the way they are for now Osvaldo. At least earn their trust a little more before revealing yourself. I’ll leave you now before anyone notices I’m gone. Take good care of yourself son." Darlington patted his shoulders before walking away.

Osvaldo immediately removed the blue contact lens from his eyes. He was already getting used to wearing them, unlike the first week when it was so uncomfortable.

He placed them back in their container and left the room in only his mask. As he walked through the halls, he saw a familiar figure standing by a door and immediately grabbed him by his collar.

Before Barry would know who it was that has held him, another door opened and he was pushed in there. He turned around confused only for his eyes to go wide. He frowned.

"Landon?"

"Shut the hell up." Osvaldo said coldly. "Listen carefully to what I’m about to tell you." Osvaldo said.

"What is the meaning of this Landon, and when did your eyes turn gold?" Barry asked.

"Don’t think you can escape if you kill me in here. My family will find you, and they’ll kill you." Barry said and Lucien smiled. This little man thinks he cares about his family.

"I don’t have time to banter words with you." He said and brought out a gun from his pocket. Barry’s eyes turned wide. Was this man foolish? Did he think he’d kill him in here with a gun and the entire house wouldn’t find out?

Barry couldn’t think of anytime he had hurt Landon, he has been very kind to Landon. "I have been the kindest to you. I have done nothing wrong, I don’t know why you’re trying to kill me." Barry said.

"Is it because of Sofie? I thought she already left you? She doesn’t want you anymore." Osvaldo cuffed the gun pointing it at Landon.

"I told you I don’t love your daughter." He said calmly, staring straivht at Landon who stood erect, even though he tried to cover it up, his body trembled slightly from pasture fear. Barry was terrified and sad he hadn’t gotten to say goodbye to his family before his death.

Maybe his brother was right. Bring Landon into their home was a bad idea.

Osvaldo brought the gun down and immediately shot his legs. Landon’s eyes turned wide.

"What did you do?" He asked staring at the injured legs and watched the flesh immediately drag back to place and the bullet flying out. Barry wanted to scream, but he couldn’t. He looked visibly shocked by it.

Was this man an immortal? How can that be done?

"W... Why are y... You showing me all these? I... I knew you were the right man to protect my niece." Barry said.

"I’m glad you see that. Now listen old man." Osvaldo began. "I know your brother is stubborn and wouldn’t listen to me. I don’t die from bullets and weapons. I can only die when I’m old enough, not by illness, but when my body cannot take it anymore." Osvaldo continued.

"Your niece, my wife and Penguin is in serious trouble." Osvaldo removed the mask from his face and Barry’s eyes almost bulged out of his socket.

W... What the hell!

Osvaldo Adkins, AKA THE MADMAN, was standing before him in flesh and blood. The richest man in the world. But how is it possible? How did he get here?

"H... How did you get here?" Barry pointed at him as he screamed and Osvaldo smiled.

"You brought me here idoit." Came Osvaldo’s voice. "Now listen, I don’t know how you’ll do it, but I want everyone evacuated from this building immediately."

"Why’s that?"

"Huh." Osvaldo sighed and started explaining the entire situation from the beginning. "The cancer case was the icing on the cake and now they’d do anything to get her. Your brother is stupidly stubborn and I know you’re the only one with brain."

"For now, do not hire new staffs or let any deliveries in the mansion. Tighten the security better than before to make sure she’s safe. I will be with my Penguin at all times." Osvaldo stated.

"But I hired a new gardener today." Osvaldo frowned.

"Where is he?" He wore his mask and stepped out of the room with Barry immediately. "Wait." Osvaldo suddenly said and Barry paused.

"We need to check up on my penguin first." He said and started walking through the next direction. When he opened her door, the room was empty. For the first time, he could feel his heart fly and he rushed into the bathroom in search of her, but he couldn’t find her.

"She’s not here." He returned to Barry.
