This was what made the Blood Slaughterer’s style so difficult to deal with.

Its Martial Arts Power was viciously toxic. Once it touched flesh, it would easily invade the body, its poisons seeping into the victim’s meridians and organs.

"Seriously? He lost just like that?"

The Blood Slaughterer’s disciple on the ring, Cao Lin, swept his gaze over the crowd below and spoke with deliberate provocation.

His master, the Blood Slaughterer Li Gusha, sneered. He stared at the grim-faced Ge Hongfeng and the other man opposite him. "It looks like the two of you are still just as incompetent at teaching your disciples."

"It’s all just third-rate stuff. They can’t even last ten moves against my disciple. If you ask me, you should just shut down the Storm Club. Save yourselves the embarrassment of leading students astray."

His sneering voice was particularly grating.

The club’s disciples all glared angrily, clenching their fists.

Yet, no one was confident enough to take on the challenge; they all hesitated.

At this critical moment, Ge Hongfeng’s senior disciple strode forward and leaped onto the ring.

"I am Yang Chengfeng. I await your instruction."

His voice was low, his expression grave.

Despite his anger, he kept his emotions in check, displaying the true composure taught by the club.

His silver, wind-patterned robes came into view, and his tall, imposing figure immediately inspired hope in the crowd.

"Senior Brother, take him down!"

"That brat’s way too arrogant!"

As cries of anticipation rang out, Xu Ling’Er, who had come to the club after hearing the news, watched the scene unfold, her expression hardening.

"Brother, it looks like things are getting complicated."

She said to Xu Fengling, who was standing beside her. He nodded, his expression grave, and strode quickly into the gym, flanked by several security guards.

The Xu family had always been on good terms with the three Martial Artists of the Storm Club. With what was happening today, they had to show up and make their supportive stance clear.

"But Senior Brother Yang should be fine."

Glancing at the ring, Xu Ling’Er’s tone shifted, and she said confidently, "After all, he’s received so much support from our Xu family. His Life Energy reached 99 points long ago. What’s more, he’s one of Uncle Ge’s true protégés and has made quite a name for himself throughout Red Maple."

"He can definitely defeat that guy."

Although it was a partnership, the Xu family didn’t just sponsor anyone—only those with superior talent were deemed worthy.

She herself had swallowed her pride on multiple occasions to visit him at the Storm Club, personally delivering resources for his training, all because she saw his immense potential and bright future.

In contrast...

"Oh? Brother Lu."

As Xu Fengling made his way through the crowd, he happened to come face-to-face with Lu Chao.

Surprised to see him there, he gave a friendly nod in greeting.

"Brother Xu."

Lu Chao gave a slight nod, having a good idea why he was there.

Given the tense situation on the ring, the two didn’t say much more, and Lu Chao watched him walk over to Ge Hongfeng.

As for Xu Ling’Er.

’I have no idea what business he has here,’

she thought. Her expression was cold, and without giving Lu Chao a single glance, she followed her brother to the center of the crowd.

"Uncle Ge, Uncle Feng."

The Xu siblings greeted them one after the other. Ge Hongfeng and the other man both suppressed their emotions and nodded in response.

Noticing their furrowed brows and the worry in their eyes, Xu Ling’Er quickly spoke up to console them. "Uncle Ge, Uncle Feng, why worry?"

"Senior Brother Yang is exceptionally talented and powerful. He’ll wipe the floor with that guy in no time."

BAM! BAM! BAM!

As if to prove her words, a series of muffled thuds echoed from the ring.

All eyes turned to the ring. Yang Chengfeng was moving with incredible agility, forcing his opponent into a clumsy retreat.

Finally, he seized an opening in Cao Lin’s defense and threw a powerful punch straight at the unguarded spot.

THUD!

As fist met palm, a shockwave of wind and energy erupted from the point of impact, spreading in all directions.

Immediately after,

THUMP, THUMP, THUMP!

The Blood Slaughterer’s disciple, Cao Lin, staggered back several steps. It seemed the blow had thrown his vital energy into disarray, and he was on the verge of defeat.

Seeing this, Xu Ling’Er nodded to herself with a smug smile. The other disciples from the club looked thrilled, the earlier gloom completely vanishing as they saw a glimmer of hope for victory.

However...

STOMP!

His steps faltered. Yang Chengfeng, who had seemed to have victory within his grasp, suddenly swayed.

It was as if he had inhaled some toxin from the air. His once-ruddy complexion changed rapidly, the veins on his face and hands turning a dark, purplish-red. He was obviously poisoned.

"What!"

Xu Ling’Er’s expression changed drastically, while the other disciples were filled with shock and confusion.

’Senior Brother Yang had clearly been using his Martial Arts Power to block the poison. When did he fall for his opponent’s trick?’

SWOOSH!

Before anyone could react,

Cao Lin, who had only pretended to be forced back, sneered and lunged forward, unleashing a continuous barrage of palm strikes.

Amid the muffled thuds of palm strikes, Yang Chengfeng staggered backward, the purplish-red color of his face growing deeper.

The tables had completely turned. Cao Lin could even be heard shouting mockingly, "My Blood Slaughter Dual Palms are steeped in a hundred poisons!"

"Centipede, poison toad, Blood Spider... all fused with the venom of over a dozen Advanced Mutant Beasts and my own power. This is the result of my painstaking training!"

"What makes you think you can stop this!"

His eyes were filled with contempt and absolute confidence.

He completely shattered Yang Chengfeng’s defense and, taking advantage of his poisoned and weakened state, thrust out his blood-red right palm. Like a venomous python striking its prey, it slammed into his chest.

BAM!

A figure went flying backward. It was just like before, an almost identical scene.

The Storm Club’s strongest disciple, Yang Chengfeng, toppled from the ring. He struggled several times but couldn’t get back to his feet.

The disciples who rushed to help him were in a panic. Someone hastily injected him with an antidote serum, but it barely had any effect.

Ge Hongfeng had no choice but to intervene personally, channeling his Qi Flame to suppress the poison.

"Such ruthless methods."

His face was grim as he stared at the young man on the ring, beginning to understand the trick.

The Blood Slaughterer style, forged by steeping in a hundred poisons, was far more insidious than anyone had imagined. On top of that, it seemed they had incorporated some new technique.
