After Achieving Invincibility, I Set Out to Destroy Sects

“I’ll talk! I’ll talk!” the blonde-haired man said in fear, unable to lift his head. “I’ll answer whatever you ask of me.”

“Why have you come to destroy my sect?” Jiang Yun asked impatiently, looking down on blonde-haired man. “Are you all from Earth?”

“Do you know about Earth?” the blonde-haired man asked in shock. “Are you also possibly someone from Earth?”

“No, I’m not,” Jiang Yun said with irritation in his voice, as he was becoming more impatient. “Now hurry and answer my question. What are you all doing here?”

“So you aren’t from Earth,” the man said, dejectedly. “We are here to accomplish our system mission.”

“What system mission?” Jiang Yun asked, trying to peek at their system windows.

“We were ordered to take over the lower realm of this world, and your sect was the only one left that could hinder our objective.”

“Why are you following your system missions?”

“We need to do it if we want to go back to Earth. We were transported to this world out of nowhere with a system.”

“Then how did you all become so strong despite coming from Earth without qi? It makes no sense how you are all Half-Immortals.”

The blonde-haired man hesitated at this question, as it was a big secret that all the invaders present needed to protect.

Observing the reluctance of the blonde-haired man, Jiang Yun asked, “Why aren’t you answering?”

The blonde-haired man still refused to answer, so Jiang Yun decided to threaten him further. As Jiang Yun increased the pressure, the blonde-haired man started to bleed all throughout his body.

“Stop! Stop! I’ll tell you why!” the blonde-haired man said, unable to take the pain anymore. “The reason we can’t speak is because we are restricted by the system, and if we speak, then we die!”

“Is it that simple?”

“What do you mean by that simple? It’s our lives on the line!”

Jiang Yun stretched out his arm and grabbed the system window in front of the blonde-haired man. The blonde-haired man was deeply confused as to how Jiang Yun could possibly touch his system.

What shocked him even more was that Jiang Yun, with a slight motion, cracked and broke the system window easily. The system window no longer appeared in front of the blonde-haired man, who still had his mouth open in shock.

“Now that I’ve taken away your restriction, you may speak,” Jiang Yun stated casually, as if nothing had just happened.

Snapping out of his daze, the blonde-haired man explained, “Before we all came here, we met a mysterious robed man on Earth. This man suddenly gave us a system, and the next thing we knew, we were in this world.”

“What does that have to do with your strength?”

“The system assigned us tasks which quickly improved our strength. Within just three years, we managed to reach where we are currently.”

Jiang Yun thought back to Hua Jing, who had also come here about three years ago.

These two situations must be closely connected. Perhaps it’s time I take a visit to Earth to uncover the truth, Jiang Yun thought to himself.

“Now that I have answered your questions, can you let us all go?” the blonde-haired man asked, trembling in fear, knowing Jiang Yun could kill him at any moment.

Turning his attention back to the blonde-haired man, Jiang Yun was debating what he should do with these people.

After thinking about it, Jiang Yun made a decision. The pressure on all the invaders began to increase as Jiang Yun added more pressure, intending to kill all those present.

These people had all come and massacred everyone in the Invincible Cloud sect, so they weren’t good people in the first place. Besides, this is a world of killing and who knows what they will do if they escape this time.

“Stop!” the blonde-haired man yelled as he started to feel his life slipping away.

Before being able to get another word out, he was crushed to a bloodstain on the ground. The other invaders beside him soon followed suit, as the ground had more and more bloodstains.

When the ground was completely soaked with bloodstains without any more movement seen anywhere, Jiang Yun cleaned the area by sending a fireball throughout the surroundings.

Feeling satisfied with his work, Jiang Yun went back into the sect.

Watching the whole scene, the two beasts guarding the sect now felt afraid as they didn’t properly protect the sect while Jiang Yun was away. They knew a punishment was about to come.

“Good job,” Jiang Yun said as he observed the nervous behavior of the two beasts. “Keep protecting the sect in the future.”

After saying some reassuring words, Jiang Yun continued toward the main hall of the sect to see the rest of the sect members who were still in the lower world.

The two beasts felt joy as they weren’t punished for their actions. Happy to survive this incident, the two beasts went back to the gate to guard the sect.

Having arrived at the main hall, Jiang Yun saw some people he hadn’t seen in quite some time while being in the Immortal World.

Song Yurong, Ning Yangran, and Zhen Siqi have all reached the Half-Immortal realm and can ascend at any time with a little more effort.

Jiang Yun’s mother, Zhuang Min, has reached the early-stage Mahayana realm and will still need some more time to ascend. She still looked as youthful as ever, so it didn’t matter if she needed a little longer.

Song Yurong’s maid, Su Ming, has also made significant progress as she reached the late-stage Integrating Soul realm due to the ideal conditions of the Invincible Cloud sect.

Seeing all these women again doing so well, Jiang Yun felt reassured by their progress.

After explaining what had just happened and assuring them that the danger was over, the women calmed down and went back to cultivating to ascend as soon as possible. Being in the lower realm has now become quite boring for them, as it is no longer as lively as before.

Jiang Yun left the women to continue cultivating and went back to the Immortal World to go and find his disciple, Hua Jing, to see if she wanted to take a trip back to Earth.

Entering the ascension array, Jiang Yun was teleported back to the Immortal Realm's Invincible Cloud sect.

After arriving, the sect was as peaceful as ever, as everyone was still busy cultivating to not be left behind.

Heading into the residential area, Jiang Yun soon found Hua Jing’s room and knocked on her door.

The door immediately flew open as Hua Jing asked, “What do you need from me, Master?”

“Do you want to take a trip with me to Earth?” Jiang Yun asked casually.

“Back to Earth?” Hua Jing asked in surprise, unsure of what was happening.

“I have some business to take care of on Earth, so would you like to come with me?”

“Of course I would like to! I’m curious about what has happened on Earth since I was teleported to the cultivation world. So, when do we leave?”

“We will leave as soon as you are ready to go.”

Hearing that it depended on her, Hua Jing quickly went to her room to pack some things into her storage ring before rushing out, not wanting to keep Jiang Yun waiting.

“I’m ready!” Hua Jing said while out of breath. “Let’s go right now.”

With how eager Hua Jing was about this trip, Jiang Yun didn’t feel like continuing to wait any longer. Putting his hand on her shoulder, Jiang Yun disappeared from the Invincible Cloud sect with Hua Jing.

Due to the distance between the two worlds, Jiang Yun took a little longer to reach Earth despite his current realm. After several minutes of traveling, Jiang Yun and Hua Jing arrived on the moon near Earth.

“Wow, so beautiful!” Hua Jing said as she admired the view of Earth from the moon. “I have never seen this before outside of pictures.”

Waiting for the right moment to continue, Jiang Yun allowed Hua Jing a few more moments to continue watching Earth, which she hadn’t seen in three years.

“I’m ready, so let’s continue,” Hua Jing affirmed after a few minutes of joyfully looking at the view.

Jiang Yun didn’t wait any longer and teleported Hua Jing and himself toward Earth. This time, the two appeared in the sky high above a continent.

The continent Jiang Yun was above was North America, as Jiang Yun had been here before and was more familiar with the area.

While debating where to land, fighter jets came flying into view as they quickly headed toward Jiang Yun.

This reminded Jiang Yun of the first time he came to Earth, and it appears the same thing was happening again.

Just as Jiang Yun was about to take down the fighter jets as they seemed like they were about to attack, the fighter jets suddenly stopped trying to attack as they began circling around Jiang Yun and Hua Jing.

“Welcome back to Earth, God,” a voice broadcast from the fighter jet. “Please allow us to guide you to the president so we may properly accommodate your esteemed self.”

The fighter jets then stopped circling and began flying in a direction, seemingly wanting Jiang Yun to follow along.

Not understanding what was happening, Jiang Yun decided to go with the situation and follow along.

Jiang Yun then took Hua Jing and chased after the fighter jets, wondering what these Earthlings were planning.
