After flying for some time, unsure of where to go, a mysterious robed figure appeared in front of Jiang Yun and Hua Jing.

Jiang Yun, upon seeing the figure, could feel that the energy given off by him was similar to that of the transmigrators.

"Are you the one who sent those transmigrators?" Jiang Yun asked, focusing his full attention on the figure in front of him.

"That's right, it was me," the figure responded, pulling off the hood of his robe.

The appearance that the figure revealed was that of a middle-aged man with short black hair, a rugged face, and a short beard. This person looked like someone from the cultivation world.

"Why did you send those transmigrators?" Jiang Yun asked, finally meeting the person he was looking for. "What purpose could sending mortals to the cultivation world possibly achieve?"

"My purpose? That's simple. I just want to go back to the cultivation world after staying on this planet for over ten thousand years."

"How does this relate to the transmigrators you sent?"

"Over a hundred years ago, I saw you when you appeared in this world and knew you were a fellow cultivator at the Beginning Dao realm. I observed you, unsure of your intentions, but one day what you did surprised me."

"What would that be?"

"You broke through to the Forming Dao realm on this barren planet and escaped, managing to make it back to the cultivation world."

"Then why don't you just do the same?"

"Beginning Dao realm cultivators cannot leave this planet after entering, but if you break through to the Forming Dao realm, you can. I haven't been able to reach the Forming Dao realm, so you are my only lead to escape this world."

"What does this have to do with giving Earthlings a system and sending them to the cultivation world?"

"It has a lot to do with it, as the woman beside you had a system that you created. I just copied it and sent her and a few other Earthlings to the cultivation world, using the traces you left behind and the woman beside you as a tracker."

"How would that help you in any way? They are still mortals who haven't achieved Immortality, so they shouldn't be able to help you much."

"That's where you are wrong. Sending them was to lure you back here so we could talk face to face. You are the only one who managed to escape this place while my attempts were futile. If I want to escape, I need your help."

"That may be true, but you are a mere Beginning Dao realm cultivator. How are you able to send Earthlings to the cultivation world despite your limited abilities?"

"What do you think I've been doing for the past ten thousand years? I have been studying the law of space to complete mastery. Sending Earthlings to the cultivation world with you having mapped out the direction is very simple."

"Did you seriously think I would come just because you sent a few transmigrators? Not to mention, why would I even help you?"

"I fully expected you to come. Even if you didn't, I would just keep sending more transmigrators until you eventually did. As for why you will help me, I haven't thought of that yet, as I don't know you that well."

"After all you have done to offend me, do you really think I will help you?"

"I don't expect your forgiveness, but I am desperate and out of options. Ask for anything, and I will do it to the best of my abilities. All I ask is for you to take me away from here and set me free."

Everything that the mysterious man said sounded reasonable to Jiang Yun, but something about the man felt off. Unsure of what it was, Jiang Yun decided to play along due to his curiosity.

"What can you offer?" Jiang Yun asked. "Just so you know, I don't care about cultivation resources or any ordinary treasures."

"What about my law of space?" the mysterious man offered after some deep thought. "I have been perfecting this law for over ten thousand years, so it should at least be of some interest."

Thinking about it, Jiang Yun decided to agree, as he wanted to know what this man was planning. There was something he was keeping secret, and Jiang Yun was curious to know what it was. Simply killing the man didn't feel like the right move just yet.

"Alright," Jiang Yun agreed. "I will help if you give me your law of space."

"Then we have a deal," the mysterious man replied, seemingly filled with delight.

Following their agreement, the mysterious man began explaining his law of space in great detail.

Jiang Yun was surprised the man was willing to fulfill his part of the deal already without being asked to. This was his leverage, yet he was giving it away just like that.

After some explanation, the mysterious man suddenly stopped, having not explained everything about the space law.

"That is half my understanding of the law of space," the mysterious man said after pausing. "I will tell you the rest after you help me escape this planet."

Jiang Yun understood what this man was doing now, as he was providing an advance payment to show he was serious.

Since he had already agreed, Jiang Yun had no reason to go back on his word. No matter what tricks this mysterious man pulled, Jiang Yun knew they wouldn't matter and could be easily dealt with.

"Do you have anything left to do on Earth?" Jiang Yun asked, turning to Hua Jing. "If not, then we will be leaving and heading back to the cultivation world."

"No," Hua Jing replied firmly. "I have already done everything I needed to do when coming here, and I can leave at any time."

"Alright, then let's go."

Prompted by Jiang Yun's confirmation, the three started heading into the sky, intending to leave the planet.

As the three were getting close to leaving the atmosphere and entering space, the mysterious man suddenly stopped as if there were something blocking his way.

"Help!" the mysterious man yelled, calling for aid. "This is the barrier that prevents me from escaping!"

Looking at the mysterious man, Jiang Yun could see that he was bound by the power of worldly rules. It seemed they would not let the mysterious man escape.

Not thinking much of it, Jiang Yun ripped apart the rules with a wave of his hand. The mysterious man, who had just been set free, felt his body lighten as the restriction disappeared.

The mysterious man was very impressed by Jiang Yun's methods and quickly followed close behind.

Soon, the three reached the outside of the planet and entered outer space.

"Thank you, friend, for the help," the mysterious man said in gratitude. "I suppose we will part ways here, as I have my own way to go back."

Still waiting for the mysterious man to show his true colors, Jiang Yun played along and started to leave with Hua Jing in a different direction.

Right after they started to move, the mysterious man couldn't wait any longer, taking out some kind of treasure and activating it.

This created a powerful void space in front of Jiang Yun, attempting to pull both Jiang Yun and Hua Jing inside. It seemed the mysterious man wanted to silence Jiang Yun and Hua Jing by making them disappear.

"Blame your bad luck!" the mysterious man yelled as the void space widened. "I was hunted down and locked here, so I can't have anyone knowing I've escaped. I'm grateful for your help, but it's your misfortune to have run into me!"

Having seen him reveal his true colors, Jiang Yun finally understood what was going on. The man was a prisoner locked on Earth, simply trying to find a way to escape his confinement.

Since there was no need to play around any longer, Jiang Yun easily tore the void space apart, restoring the area to normal. Jiang Yun felt there was no need to pretend anymore, and it was time to eliminate the target he had come to Earth for.

Seeing Jiang Yun resolve his strongest move so effortlessly, the man was shocked. Soon, that shock was replaced by sheer terror as he tried to run away from Jiang Yun, whom he now viewed as a monster.

Before he could escape very far, the mysterious man felt trapped again, completely unable to move.

"Wait! Let me explain!" the mysterious man pleaded in a panic. "I was joking with you before, just trying to scare you! Please don't take it so seriously, let me go!"

Showing no mercy, Jiang Yun increased the pressure and began to crush the man, who was still begging for his life.

As the pressure continued to build up, the man felt his body being crushed, and blood began seeping out across his body. Unable to do anything, the man was consumed by regret as he died, bursting into a mist of blood.

Feeling satisfied with the outcome, Jiang Yun turned his attention back to Hua Jing.

"Are you ready to go?"

Surprised by the rapid turn of events, Hua Jing quickly regained her composure, as this was a fairly normal occurrence when traveling with Jiang Yun. Finding nothing wrong with the situation, Hua Jing turned her attention to Jiang Yun.

"Yes, I'm ready to go back."

The two then quickly flew off in the direction they had come from, heading back to the cultivation world.
