Leo took a deep breath to calm his nerves, he realized that this was not a simple intricate line work. His body had a reaction by focusing on it, and as he was thinking Head Priest Hank came back from his meeting with the Goddess, or to be precise her bot. He found Leo and smiled, "Looks like you have found the evolution map for the human beings."

Leo was shocked, and he asked, "What do you mean? What is this?"

Hank looked at the map and said, "This intricate line work is the map of human species, the goddess had yet to complete it."

Leo frowned and said, "Is that why when I concentrated on it my body started to get warm?"

Hank was surprised, he looked at the man and said, "No, this is something that has never happened before. We have tried many times to perceive the secret hidden in the map but the goddess has warned us not to do anything because the map is not complete. It could be a side effect that you tried to perceive the incomplete map."

Leo hummed and he said, "Well, this can be discussed later, but what did Her Holiness say about the plan?"

Hank smiled and replied, "She agrees, it has been a trend that while Humans are afraid of the things they don’t understand the gravity of the situation unless they have seen what it is and then they scramble around to protect what they can. We can arrange a broadcast for the people all over the world, and Her Holiness has conveyed that you don’t need to worry about it, the aura from her relic would be enough to deter the people."

Leo nodded and said, "Thank you, Head Priest, shall I make the arrangements for you?"

The old man smiled and said, "That would be good. Thank you for the hard work, President Cardinal."

Leo shook his head and replied, "I have my own selfish reasons so do what I want to do."

The old man didn’t say anything but he just smiled. Leo bowed to him and then left the temple, on the way down from the mountain, he called June, and had her arrange for the media department to launch an event. The event would tell the people about the history and the legend of the goddess and how the shrine believed that the deeds of a person could escalate their standards and be treated like a god.

Head priest had mentioned that they would be using a relic to demonstrate the might of the goddess, so he was fine with that. After all, telling the people that the Goddess they believed to have died was still alive, it would be the paramount of comedy, and even if they really believed that she was alive, then the humans would lean on to the mindset of having a stronger entity among them and stop the alien threats and even try to beg the goddess for technology.

Leo was smart enough to understand all this, he knew that the human race have always had some trouble with the mindset of relying and extracting from the people and the nature around them, not just now but from the time they have evolved. Leo sighed and got in the car and made a move to the airport, he had to get back home.

The flight was uneventful, and the efficiency of the people from the cardinal group was so high that by the time he landed on the ground, he received the word that the event was ready and the Shrine would start it soon. The event had been promoted by everyone in the media. Cardinal Group was willing to buy out slots from various mainstream channels. Things were set in motion, even the world leaders have been alerted, and they all wanted to see what it was about.

Leo reached home, he found that Snow had returned early from the office, but Lily was sitting beside her. He frowned and said, "Lily should not see the event, it is not suitable for children."

Snow frowned, she wanted to say that sooner or later they would find out about it, but Leo shook her head silently. Snow didn’t argue with him, she only patted Lily’s head who blew a kiss to her father and dashed in the project room to practice her painting skills. The young man took a deep breath and replied, "It’s not that I don’t want her to see, but the situation is rather grimy. We are not sure of the intensity that the Shrine will come out with, if the effects of the aura caused any damage to the children it would be bad."

Snow sighed and replied, "Is that why your people came out with the disclaimer?"

Leo nodded and said, "They communicated with Head Priest and even the old man was not sure how the children would be affected by this and so he made them put it out there."

Snow agreed, she sighed and said, "Is it really necessary for them to handle things this quickly?"

Leo nodded, he sat down next to Snow and said, "I know that you want them to handle it all gradually, but things don’t work that way, because these people have been used to slacking off all this time, they are really useless if you ask me."

Snow sighed, she knew that Leo was right, the capitalists have caused the habit of the rest of the people to change up a lot. This is not something that could be changed without a drastic push. Sure enough, after half an hour, when the event started, the people were greeted by the smiling face of the harmless looking Old Priest of the Shrine.

Hank greeted the people and then he came brought the people inside the sanctum. He explained the various rituals of the Shrine to the people and also the meaning behind them. He told them about the small pond of baptism that could lead to the strengthening of the people on a genetic level. However, after half an hour they came to the door of a room which looked rather dull. Head Priest Hank bowed to the door as he said, "This is the place where the last relic left behind by Her Holiness is kept. We don’t go inside this room much, but today, we have no other option but to go in, after all, the people need to experience the might of the goddess."

He slightly pushed open the door and said, "Don’t cross the threshold, just zoom in on the center of the room in a straight line."

The camera followed the instructions and when the picture was shown to the people, they all froze. Leo’s heart picked up pace but it was not as bad as it was in the past. Snow, however, was pale, they were all looking at a gem that was red in color, it looked like a ruby, but was as big as a palm. They were frozen in fear, and Leo could tell that the entire world was going through the same, after a few minutes, Hank closed the door, and the correspondent asked while wiping her sweat, "Your Grace, what was that?"

Hank sighed and replied, "A diamond that was stained by the blood of the goddess when she was dwelling this world. This blood contains so much energy that even though we have held it for centuries, we cannot get close to it. This is the might of the goddess, I don’t mean to scare the people, but the blood of every being contains a vital energy. The vital energy is what causes a tiger to prey on the deer. This energy is replenished through slaughter and then accumulated in aura.

Just like the old kings and lords, they fought for people, and slayed enemies on the battlefield, this is why the world feared and respected them. This energy is in turn passed on to the children of the nobles and the royals. However, as the need to slaughter decreased, the vital energy also faltered. Now if you look at things, you would realize, that the world has changed and this vitality has got to vain. I am not saying that we should all start fighting to death, because that is not the solution. However, we need to come up with a method to evolve. Human life has been moving on without a change for far too long. That is not how you sustain life or anything.

The goddess left behind a drop of blood to remind us, that out there are creatures who are stronger than not only us, but her as well, because this drop came from her after a fight with another creature, namely a reptilian. So, now you can imagine, that even the one that is causing this fear to erupt was not the strongest, how can we humans sit down and wait for things to fix themselves?"

Leo watched the telecast and he nodded, the hint has been given and now let those world leaders come together and stand in front of the real alien corpse, then they will realize the gravity of the situation.
