Almighty Father System

Leo finished his meeting and received a message from the school that Lily fell over and was injured. His face turned pale before he rushed out and on the communicator he called Zeenat. The call connected quickly and the young lady replied, "Sir, Young miss was playing outside and she dived trying to catch a ball, she got minor abrasion on her knee."

Leo let out a sigh of relief and replied, "Why couldn’t these people state it clearly? I felt like something big happened."

Zeenat replied, "I was on the sideline but could not react."

She felt somewhat guilty with Lily getting hurt, but Leo said, "Zeenat, you are there to protect her from harm and not to stop her from playing. Children get hurt while playing, grow up to be stronger. Don’t worry much, I’m coming over."

The call was disconnected and Snow called in asking what happened. Leo told her the situation and said, "I’ll tell you the rest after I’ve seen her. Don’t worry."

That said he drove to the school and found a small guide but guiding him to the infirmary. Zeenat was standing outside and greeted him. Leo asked , "Is she inside?"

Zeenat nodded to him. Leo pushed the door and went inside to find a few little girls standing beside the bed where Lily was sitting. The first noticed the bandage on her left knee. Then he noticed how she was exasperatedly telling the little girls around the bed to not cry and that she was not going to die.

Leo heard one of the little say, "Lily, you don’t have to console us. I had a grand uncle last year, he fell in the garden and never woke up."

Leo was left between laughter and tears. He could not tell the girls to stop talking about unfortunate things and shoo them off. But thankfully, the school doctor stepped up. She was a middle-aged woman and was a mother of two. The character was good and they also had a separate staff for boys in the school. This was done because young age was complicated and hesitation with a doctor could delay treatment which was not good.

The doctor said, "On my dear little pixies. It is good that you all care so much about your friend but believe me she is fine and would be able to play with you in a couple of days. Don’t worry too much we got you guys."

That was enough to calm down the girls, Lily sighed in relief and looked up to see Leo. She smiled and Leo walked up to her side, he gently patted her head and then asked, "Did you make the catch?"

Lily nodded and Leo asked again, "Does it hurt?"

Lily shook her head and replied, "It stings a little."

Leo nodded and looking at the bandage, he said, "It’s turmeric and black pepper milk for you tonight, the sting will go away. Then you would heal quickly and the sting would go away."

Lily nodded, and looked a little sullen, but Leo smiled and poked the tip of her nose and said, "Why are you sad? Because you got hurt while playing?"

The little girl nodded, she didn’t know why but she felt sad that she got hurt while playing. Leo sighed, he knew that it was typically just a mixed emotion that she was unable to comprehend why something fun would bring her pain.

He just hugged her and then said, "It’s fine, In race we also have crashes right, but it’s all about rejoicing the way we grow through it. This time you made a catch and you enjoyed it. You dived to catch it, that is not something everyone can do, it takes a lot of courage, if you gain so much courage by scraping a little, then it is a good thing. The skin will come back but had you not made that catch, you would have felt bad, right?"

Lily calmed down and realized that indeed, her father was right, she said, "Baba, how are you so wise?"

The peanut galore of the little girls all nodded in unison as if they were dolls, and Leo couldn’t help but chuckle. He thanked the little girls, for taking care of Lily, and even praised them for some things and the little ones blushed, well, Leo was a handsome man and all girls loved handsome men.

One of the girls even covered her face with her hands. The doctor sighed and said, "My dear little pixies, you all have to go back to class now, Mister Cardinal will be taking Lily back home. You can see her tomorrow. Off you go now."

Leo thanked the doctor before he tenderly carried his little darling in his arms like a princess and led her out. He told Zeenat to grab Lily’s bag from the class and ask the teacher if she has any homework for the day. Recovering and discipline were two separate things but they worked hand in hand.

Lily rolled her eyes at him and said, "Baba, I am hurt."

Leo smiled at her and said, "It’s gonna be alright I will get you to eat some of the Ice-cream."

Lily sighed and gave into her fate. She knew that even if she managed to convince her father, dealing with Snow would be impossible. The trio hopped in the car and headed back home. Fragrance was sitting in the living room with the twins and playing a memory game when she raised her head and spotted Lily being carried by Leo and her knee was wrapped in white gauze.

She hurried over and asked, "What happened?"

Leo shook her head and replied, "She dived to catch the ball and scraped her knee just like you did back when you dived for the first time."

Fragrance put her hands on her hips and retorted, "On, you speak as if you didn’t fall, you scraped your bum after falling from the tree in the backyard."
