Almighty Father System

Lily sat down on the stool and began playing the music that she had written. Leo sat beside her, with a smile on his face. The music started with some melancholic notes, with a lot of unrest projecting from them. It portrayed the restlessness of the young hatchling who had just come out of its egg.

Then the picture evolved, and the new bird gained curiosity, it would peek at sky where its mother had flown to get some food. The young hatchling would wait for it’s mother to come back, at the same time it would want to fly to the sky on its own.

As the young hatchling gained more vitality, it became more and more eager to see the world outside its nest and its high walls. The tune became rather melodic, and the young hatchling was now growing stronger. Finally the day came where it gained strength in its wings, and began to flap them and jump around.

However, it was still not strong enough to take the final jump and take a flight. It still feared the height that it needed to catch the flight. After taking a few minutes, the music took flight, and it reached a crescendo, the young bird had finally gathered enough courage to take the leap of faith.

Lily had reached the end of her piece of music. Just when it was about to end, Leo took over. The music continued with similar tempo, full of hope and joy, the bird had claimed the sky, it was flying to what it wanted, but then the music became stagnant, the tempo and the notes began to slow down, it showed that the bird was yearning to find out more about its purpose.

It was a debate within it self, whether what it wanted from its life. Was the purpose in life only to fly and eat worms like other birds. Leo added a lot more elements, but not around the bird, but the nature around it. The sudden crescendos for storms, and the soothing tunes to project cozy days.

There was conflict, with those outside and within itself. The excitement of hunting for a worm or catching a fish, then it began to discover other things around itself. The bird mated and gained a family, but that peace it was looking for after it had seen so much of life didn’t come.

Finally, the music entered in the apex and just then it all calmed down. The music had become rather calm and as if a whisper. The bird had turned old and life seem to be fading away from within it. However, death didn’t seem as painful as it usually would, but it was peaceful. The peace that the bird had been seeking all his life, it realized that the peace was not something outside but it was within him.

Snow, Fragrance, and Anastasia heard the music and they were stunned in a daze, even though they were adults they could not make sense of it, the peace that the bird was accepting in the final moments was akin to water that seeped deep in the dry soil.

Anastasia even had tears flowing out of her eyes, she mumbled, "The bird has lived its life without regrets, and only now it had come to understand that everything has turned out to be meaningless, and it all became rather calm."

The music came to an end, but the mood of the people didn’t seem too heavy but they were calm and at peace. Lily was the first one to wake up from the spell of the music, she looked at her father and thought, ’I still have a long way to catch up with him.’

She wanted to catch up with her father, and become like him. After a few minutes, Leo stood up from the stool, and without disturbing anyone, he went to the kitchen and began to cook food for them all.

Lily stood up and walked over to the couch, and picked up her aunt’s phone which had been recording the entire process. She sent the video to her own tab, then went to her room. She carefully edited the video and watched it one time before posting it online. Then she went out to eat dinner, because her gluttony powers have been activated by the scent of the food lingering in the house.

The night was uneventful, only the twins decided to sleep between their parents. Leo’s face was again covered with a little foot in the morning. While Julian loved to snuggle with his parents, the youngest one was a rather rebellious personality, so after trying to cuddle her, Snow had finally pushed her to Leo.

In the morning, Leo woke up and removed her foot from his face, sat up, and gave her a kiss, then to Julian and then went to kiss his wife before he changed into his morning running gear and left to take a run. However, just as he stepped out, he found Lily dashing over to him and replied, "Baba, you are viral again!"

Leo froze in his steps and then he saw Lily jump in his arms. He caught her steadily and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Lily smiled and replied, "Here, see the internet is going crazy."

She showed him the video that she had uploaded, the crowd was going wild in the comments but it was not wild as in crazy, but the number of comments was staggeringly reaching two million. Even Leo himself was surprised and upon reading he found that the comments only sent him and Lily a lot of blessings.

Some people told how they were so overwhelmed that they cried, and how some had the urge to correct their wrongs but didn’t know how to.

Leo smiled at this and in the end, he also made a comment, "You can always try to make up for your regrets, and as long as you do that, consider it a win regardless of the result. Life is just like that, trial and error, sometimes you get a reward, and sometimes a lesson."

The comment was posted on the top and then nailed there, gradually many people liked the comment as the post circulated around the world. These days, with the ISC gaining foothold in the various walks of the world, the people had been paying more attention to Leo and what he has been doing.

Leo took Lily to the school, she didn’t have any running or boxing today, because first she was grounded, and second her knee was scrapped. The little girl was received by her classmates like she was a warrior who had come back from a bloody battle. Leo was even amused and clicked a picture before posting it on his social page with a caption, "The warrior is returning to the battlefield under the guard of honor."

He then turned around and went back home. His twins were also getting ready today to visit the office of their mother’s office, because it was ’bring your kids to work’ day.

The young man dressed them up nicely and told them, "Okay, so you two would be going out today, be nice to everyone, and don’t disturb your mother, okay? Let her work and you watch from the side, ask her the questions you want but no making trouble. Okay?"

The twins nodded and Leo also dressed up in a formal shirt and trousers to click a picture with them. Lily carried the twins in her arms and then after giving Leo a kiss, she went to the office.

Just when Leo was thinking about going to the study, and playing games all day, he received a call from Percie, he raised his brow and asked, "What is it?"

Percie replied, "Ummm, Sir, we have a very lucrative offer at hand and I couldn’t help but introduce it to you."

Leo nodded and asked, "What is it?"

The lady cleared her throat and said, "Their is a show called, Young Boss, and Old Assistant. It is a show that is based on children and parents. So, the producers have approached us, asking whether you and Young Miss would like to show the people how Cardinal Group has been changing lives of the people. The motive is to make the younger generation understand how the adult world works, and let them use their unique perception to deal with adult problems.

They want the younger generation to feel connected with the elder generation and nurture the feeling of gratitude towards them."

Leo frowned, he personally didn’t like to have a high profile life, but then he took a deep breath and replied, "I will ask Lily. She will be the one to decide if she wants to be a part of this situation or not. Also, it must not hamper her education and other things that she is pursuing."

Percie gulped, she knew something like this would happen and said, "Yes, I will negotiate with the production, you don’t have to worry about that."
