Almighty Father System

Leo and Lily stood at the gates of the small town before them. The little one had just finished throwing a tantrum and that was all. The taco of them walked inside and were surprised because just as Isedol had said. The place was still stuck in the old era, the roads were paned with cobble stone tiles. The town structure followed the layout from the old times. No building was taller than a standard three floor building. Most of the ere courtyards, Leo sighed and replied, "I had no idea that such a paradise would be hidden near the capital."

Lily asked, "Baba, what do you mean?"

Leo replied, "I call this place a paradise because see how the elders who live here are gathered in the parks, the aroma in the wind is mixed with sweet scent of the flowers and the faint trace of roasted nuts. No honking on the purring of engines. No heavy industry in the surroundings. Don’t you feel that the air feels fresher?"

Lily calmed down and sensed the world around her. She understood why Leo called this place a paradise. Because with the lack of high sounds Leo would be able to concentrate on his meditation. After the brief exploration, they both headed to the path highlighted by bright orange marking boards. Following the directions they reached the town house.

It was a two-floor building standing in the center of the town. Although the governance system of the country had changed. The people of this town have kept this building and they also select a new town head every year. Everything here was of symbolic significance and continuation of the age-old heritage of the town. Lily looked and patted Leo’s thigh, when Leo looked over Lily said, "Baba, look at so many saplings of the forgotten jade peach."

The young man smiled at her, and then said, "How did you learn about them?"

Lily smirked and looked in his eyes as she said, "They are something we read about in class, Miss Hailey from the school told us about the plants that are now rare to spot and she also told us that we should try to revive as many of them as we can."

Leo nodded, and the scene was captured in the high definition cameras and broadcast to the rest of the world. The people who had been watching this show for a long time were waiting for Lily to ask silly questions like why was there no car in the town and why were the children running around.

However, she did nothing of the sort and showed her intelligence. Just when they were about to speak, an old voice sounded from the side, "It is good to learn about these things, Little One. Seems like the education in the city is not yet the game of the capitalists."

Leo and Lily turned to the side and they found that the speaker was an old man. The old man smiled and said, "Hello, I am the Town Head of the Peach Town. Also, I would be the host for your family to come and stay in the town till you have finished the show. If you have any trouble staying here, you can tell me. I will try my best to help you out."

The two of them greeted the old man and found that his name was Hyphon Tower. After the greeting, a man wearing an orange shirt arrived, he was panting, and Leo understood that the guy belonged to the crew and he said, "Mister Cardinal, please follow me, I will lead you to the courtyard where you would be staying with others."

Leo had no idea who the other guests were. He basically didn’t care about it earlier, but now since they were going to share the same space as for the show, it was better for them to at least have some knowledge about the fellow contestants. However, Lily was very eager to meet the new people and see if the other fathers were as good as hers.

Just two buildings from the Town Hall, there was a big courtyard, obviously it was changed to meet the needs of the show planners. The walls were as high as nine feet with barbed wires on the top, and cameras locked on to you all the time.

When they came to stand in front of the gate of the courtyard, Leo could pick up some sounds from the inside, as well. It seemed like the children inside were playing. He could tell there were three children, two boys and a girl. The guide pushed open the door, and the movement inside the courtyard froze all of a sudden.

Leo spotted a big locust tree in the center of the courtyard, and three men standing there, chatting with each other. When they all saw Leo, they froze, but Lily, who was standing on the ground, held Leo’s hand and said, "Baba, come on."

Leo smiled and nodded as he also stepped over the threshold. He approached the three men and nodded to them, as he said, "Hello, I am Leo Cardinal."

The first person to reply was a tall man with brown hair, he reached out to shake hands with Leo and said, "Hello, I am Louis, I am a rally car driver, I have heard a lot about you, Mister Cardinal."

Leo chuckled and said, "I didn’t expect that just a little bit of time on the asphalt would cause even the four time cross country champion to recall me."

Louis chuckled and replied, "Sir, please don’t say things like this, your fans would beat me up when I go back home."

Leo smiled and shook hands with him. Another man introduced himself, he was a small businessman and dealt in wearable smart tech, but making watches for the people to track their fitness, he was called Nova Delectus.

He didn’t speak much, but exchanged a hand shake. This man was a third generation pilot in the airforce and had just recently retired because his children needed some care as his wife had been diagnosed with cancer and was recovering gradually.

The last man was a film star, his fan following was very high and he was taking a break from movies so came over to spend some time with his son and understand him better, he was called Matthew Cottons.

Leo shook his hand as well and introduced himself, at the same time, he introduced his daughter to them. Lily greeted them all politely, and then Leo said, "Go on, play with the children."

Lily stuck her tongue at him and then walked away. The basic rapport had been established between the people, and after half an hour, Lily had made friends with the little girl in the group of four children called Maya Delectus.

She was four years old and after Lily intimidated the little boys who were pestering Maya into constantly playing tag with her. So, she had become a rather big boss among the little people.

Nova watched the whole process, he wanted to make his daughter stronger, and this was why he didn’t intervene. However, Lily not only protected her, she also told him how to be brave and after that Maya managed to stand off with the boys although she was still half a step behind Lily, but at least she was standing tall and not running away from them.

Leo smiled at Lily and gave her a thumbs up. Just then, a Young Lady wearing a smart gown walked over, and said, "Hello, everyone, welcome to the Peach Courtyard. Now that you all have finished the introduction with each other, it is time to have you perform some tasks."

The children all gathered together with the adults and the lady continued, "Now, the first task you have is to set up a kitchen in this courtyard. The first one to set up a stove and cook the local speciality of crispy and tangy nuts would get the priority in picking up the room. Also, you can enlist the help of your kids, but please remember, they cannot help you more than thrice."

Leo asked, "Do we have any time limits?"

The lady nodded and replied, "Please try your best to finish before the sunset. You have three hours."

Nova asked, "Where do we procure the material needed for the stove?"

The lady smiled and replied, "The entire town is yours, you can beg, and borrow things if they are willing to lend them. Or you can go to the back of the forest to gather the material. Well, your time starts now

Leo turned to look at Lily and said, "I have a task for you."

Lily tilted her head and Leo crouched down before whispering in her ears. The little girl nodded repeatedly and replied, "Yes, I can do that."

Then Leo stood up from the ground and Lily said, "Baba, let’s go."
