The pencil wrote a character "Feng," his own surname. Then there was... a dot that looked like ink.
Su Li: "...??"
What kind of weird name is this?
Su Li looked bewildered, holding the card up for Feng Ciye to see: "What... what does this mean?"
Feng Ciye frowned slightly and explained: "This card was written in my presence. I don’t know why, but Tuanzi couldn’t write beyond this point and eventually borrowed a brush from home."
Unable to speak or write further.
The words gave Su Li a chill, goosebumps spread across her skin.
Even though it was only autumn, she felt so cold that her hair stood on end, and her complexion grew increasingly pale.
She got the unsettling feeling of being watched...
Feng Ciye noticed her face was as pale as paper. Recently, she had lost weight due to her already frail health, and now her face was only as big as a palm.
Instinctively, Feng Ciye wanted to take off his jacket. Just as his fingers touched the button, he came to his senses, raised his hand, and signaled to the waitress at the milk tea shop, who occasionally glanced their way, speaking in a low voice.
The girl glanced enviously at Su Li and immediately turned and left the room.
Su Li didn’t pay attention to their interaction, assuming Feng Ciye merely asked the waitress for a drink refill. Her eyes, like bright purple grapes, stayed fixed on the card in her hand, murmuring, "Is this... the Heavenly Dao?"
Is the guardian’s name just an ink dot?
With a chaotic mind, Su Li suddenly noticed something on the back of the card. She quickly flipped it over, her expression becoming strange, mixed with amusement and resignation.
"A true soul artist... this is a soul artist."
At the end of the card, there was a drawing by Tuanzi, presumably a portrait of his guardian uncle, sketched in pencil and colored with crayons.
The lines were very crude, clearly drawn by a child.
It was obvious to Su Li that Tuanzi had no talent for drawing, not even a little like the talent he had in mathematics, making Su Li want to laugh.
The person in the drawing had large black eyes and lips pressed into a straight line, seemingly never smiling, exuding a chilling aura.
The hand, drawn like a carrot, extended across the center of the image with something blue on the fingers. Maybe... a ring?
Looking at the drawing, Su Li couldn’t associate it with any known person.
What on earth was drawn here!
Suddenly, Su Li regretted not hiring a drawing teacher for Tuanzi earlier.
"Have you figured anything out?" Feng Ciye asked with a smile.
In her heart, Su Li felt some unspeakable feelings as she looked at him apologetically.
Previously... she had always suspected Feng Ciye was Tuanzi’s guardian!!!
Su Li’s mind was in turmoil, like a mushy paste, and she could only shake her head.
Everything felt confusing.
She only knew that the guardian uncle had never met Tuanzi in this world even once!
In such a vast world, who knows who it could be?
Feng Ciye took a sip of hot water and said, "First, ’Feng’ indicates it’s someone from the Feng Family, or else the inheritance wouldn’t be handed to him; second, this character should be... Mo, right?"
The dot was randomly placed by Tuanzi, just to express something through it.
Su Li murmured to herself, "Feng... Feng Mo?"
Where could such a person be found in the entire Feng Family?
A brief glint of coldness flashed across Feng Ciye’s usually gentle face, and there was a hint of sarcasm in his warm tone: "Probably just another illegitimate child sired by my father while wandering among the flowers, it’s not the first time this has happened."
