A beautiful woman with pale white skin and long, straight black hair, who appeared to be in her mid-twenties, suddenly materialized beside Violet out of thin air, dressed in a flowing white robe.
That was exactly what Enzo saw through the screen.
His eyes widened even further.
The woman was none other than Camila, the same woman Emma had met the previous night.
But how had she appeared beside Violet without leaving even the slightest trace?
As Enzo observed more carefully, he realized that her feet weren’t touching the ground at all.
She was floating.
"Are those Goblins under your control?" Violet asked.
"That’s right." The woman nodded.
"I saw how hard you’ve been trying to kill that Three-Headed Python. But even with an S-Class Assassin Talent, it would be difficult. It’s one of the monsters with the highest endurance. So I decided to lend you a hand."
She smiled faintly.
"Mm... although the EXP you’ll receive will be reduced because of my assistance, you should still level up."
"Why are you helping me?" Violet asked again.
People were taught to help one another while they were in school.
But in reality, that rarely happened without a motive.
Violet couldn’t help looking at the woman suspiciously.
"By the way," the woman suddenly said, "I’m Level 49."
Hearing that, Violet’s eyes widened slightly because Enzo was equally shocked.
Level 49.
That was already an incredibly high level.
Reaching it was anything but easy.
Advancing from Level 30 to 31 alone was extremely difficult, let alone climbing beyond Level 40.
A Level 49 Awakener was already powerful enough to be regarded as a dangerous existence.
Of course, those above Level 51, like Rebecca Morgan, or above Level 61, like Enzo’s father, were in an entirely different league.
This woman was still relatively young, yet she was already standing just below Earth’s top-tier Awakeners.
But why was she telling Violet her level?
Violet frowned in confusion.
Was she simply showing off?
The woman smiled gently.
"I swear I’m only acting on a whim. Once you reach my level, you’ll occasionally do things like this around the outskirts of Moba World as well."
She paused before adding,
"If you want to thank me, just pray that I return safely."
Violet fell silent.
After saying that, Camila turned around and walked away.
Her figure gradually became transparent before disappearing completely a few moments later.
Watching through the screen, Enzo narrowed his eyes.
It looked similar to Violet’s Invisible Mode, but it clearly wasn’t the same.
Viewing everything through the screen actually gave him an advantage in observation.
When Violet entered Invisible Mode, she merely became unseen.
Her physical body still existed.
She couldn’t pass through walls, and her movements still created tiny disturbances—barely noticeable only because she was so good at concealing her presence.
Camila, however...
Enzo felt she wasn’t merely invisible.
It was as if she had ceased to exist altogether.
She couldn’t be touched.
She should be able to pass through anything, just like a ghost.
Of course, a power like that probably came with a limitation.
She most likely couldn’t attack anyone while in that state.
Otherwise, she’d be practically invincible.
’Looks like Emma really did inherit an imitation version of this woman’s Talent,’ Enzo thought.
Now he had witnessed the ability for himself.
Unlike Camila, Emma could only make herself translucent.
She was still visible, making her resemble an actual ghost.
’But how is she controlling that many Goblins?’ Enzo wondered.
Although this Talent seemed capable of controlling monsters—as Emma had done by possessing a wolf—Camila was commanding well over a thousand Goblins.
’Forget it. I’ll just take advantage of the opportunity.’
Enzo shook his head.
He scanned the surroundings through the screen once more.
Luca Carter had already fled long ago.
Since no one else was nearby—and before anyone arrived because of the commotion—Enzo immediately pressed the W key.
Whoosh!
Violet entered Invisible Mode once more as she moved.
At the same time, she attached one of her Mana Threads to a nearby boulder so she could use it to pull herself back later.
She headed straight for one of the python’s remaining necks.
The head above it was busy inhaling the flames continuously spewed by the Fire Goblins, leaving its neck completely exposed.
Enzo couldn’t think of any way this attack could fail.
Shua!
Still remaining in Invisible Mode, Violet swung her dagger with all her strength.
This time, perhaps because it was too preoccupied, the python’s flesh regenerated far more slowly.
The dagger sliced straight through, cleanly severing the neck in two.
DING!
(Your character has severed one of the Three-Headed Python’s heads. You have obtained 200 SP!)
[SP: 300]
Enzo hadn’t expected to receive as much SP as before.
The first head had been much harder to cut off, while the second had been easier.
Receiving less made sense.
But the reduction was so drastic that he frowned.
It was probably because the Goblins had helped.
"This is bad..."
A panicked expression suddenly appeared on his face.
The python’s final remaining head abruptly turned toward Violet, even though she was still invisible and had already begun retreating by pulling herself away with the Mana Thread attached to the boulder.
The python opened its enormous jaws wide.
Its eyes burned with pure rage.
It completely ignored the Goblins attacking its body.
Even though Violet was incredibly fast, the python’s head somehow moved even faster.
Even Instant Death failed to slow it down.
It seemed willing to die itself as long as it could swallow Violet first.
Enzo couldn’t deny that he was panicking.
At that moment, he finally made a decision.
He pressed a button, and Violet instantly removed her outer robe.
Naturally, that didn’t leave her naked.
She was wearing layered clothing—her normal outfit beneath a B-Class Armor that also took the form of clothing.
Even if she had been naked, no one would have seen anything while she remained in Invisible Mode.
Whoosh!
Violet tossed the robe to the side, causing it to appear in midair.
Immediately, the python’s remaining head changed direction and lunged toward the flying robe.
Violet’s eyes lit up.
Enzo couldn’t have been happier.
The spur-of-the-moment idea that had flashed through his mind had actually worked.
