Zeus did not panic. He did not cast a massive magical shield. He did not run away. He simply raised his right hand. He drew a long, silver sword from a scabbard on his hip. The metal blade shined brightly in the sunlight.

He took a single step forward.

The space around Zeus suddenly distorted. It bended like clear, wavy glass. The toxic green magic blasts hit the distorted space. They did not touch his white uniform. The magical attacks instantly bounced away. They deflected off the invisible barrier. They exploded harmlessly against the tall canyon walls. Small rocks rained down onto the dirt.

Sayma stood near Princess Iris. The intelligent Vice-Captain pushed her thick glasses up the bridge of her nose. She opened her neat notebook. She clicked her pen. She wrote very fast.

"He manipulates space," Sayma noted politely. Her dark eyes watched every detail. "He bends the physical distance between himself and the attacks. The enemy magic cannot touch him. It is a flawless defense mechanism. He utilizes very minimal magical expenditure to achieve this."

Laxmi grinned wildly. The fire user tossed a tiny orange spark between her fingers. "That is a very cool trick. But he needs to hit them back. A shield does not win a fight."

Zeus did exactly that.

He vanished from his spot. He did not just run fast. He teleported. He appeared directly behind a massive Ashura monster. The beast did not even have time to turn around.

Zeus swung his silver sword. He did not use a wide, sloppy swing. He used a precise, perfect strike. The blade sliced cleanly through the monster's thick gray armor. It looked completely effortless. The monster collapsed to the dirt road. It turned into gray ash. It did not get back up.

Zeus moved again. He teleported short distances. He appeared on the left flank of the monster group. He swung his sword twice. Two more monsters fell to the ground. He appeared on the right flank. He thrust his blade forward. Another monster dropped.

He engaged the elite operatives with devastating precision. He neutralized the highly trained fighters in seconds. He did not waste any magical energy. He only used the exact amount of power required to defeat the target. It was a flawless display of combat superiority.

Elma stood near Princess Hestia. The blonde servant held her twin silver swords. She watched Zeus fight. She felt completely amazed by his skill. She tried to memorize his sword techniques. She watched his perfect footwork. She wanted to improve her own fighting style.

Then, Elma looked over at Ken.

Ken was tossing a yellow gummy bear into the air. He tried to catch it in his mouth. He missed completely. The candy hit his nose. It bounced off his face and fell onto the grass. Ken groaned lazily. He bent over to pick it up. He dusted it off on his pants and ate it anyway.

Elma felt her cheeks turn a bright, vibrant shade of pink. Her heart did a strange, sudden flip. She liked watching Ken much more than she liked watching Zeus. Zeus was too perfect. Zeus felt like a cold, uncaring machine. Ken felt like a real, fun, comfortable person. Elma quickly looked away. She stared very hard at a rock. She hoped nobody saw her blush.

Zinia crossed her strong arms. The earth mage stood tall. "The 1st Prince is showing off. We could have killed those beasts. We did not need him."

"He is very efficient," Ira stated flatly. The water mage showed zero emotion. "Statistically speaking, his kill rate is ninety-eight percent faster than a standard vanguard unit."

Luna rubbed her sleepy eyes. She leaned against Zinia's shoulder. She let out a massive yawn. "Is the loud noise over yet? I want to go back to sleep. The carriage seats are very hard. I need a real bed."

"Not yet, Luna," Princess Iris said softly. The violet-eyed royal watched her older brother carefully. She held her silver rapier by her side. "He is just getting started. Pay close attention to his movements."

The battle continued. The remaining Ashura operatives realized their simple attacks were failing. Their toxic blasts could not pierce the distorted space. Their claws could not touch his pristine uniform.

The monsters changed their tactic. They stopped charging blindly. They communicated with low, guttural hisses. They formed a tight, organized circle around Zeus. They wanted to attack him from all sides at the exact same time. They wanted to overwhelm his spatial defense.

"They are grouping up," Sayma observed. She tapped her pen on the paper. "They want to force him to defend multiple angles simultaneously. He cannot bend space in every direction at once without using a massive amount of mana."

"Let us see how he handles a coordinated strike," Princess Iris noted calmly.

The monsters roared together. They leaped into the air. They dived toward Zeus from a complete 360-degree angle. They swung their sharp claws. They aimed for his head, his chest, and his legs. They completely blocked his escape routes.

It looked like a perfect, inescapable trap.

Ken reached into his bag. He pulled out two gummy bears at once. He popped them into his mouth. He slouched his shoulders even further.

"This is getting very dramatic," Ken mumbled casually. He chewed his candy. "He should just duck. Ducking is the best strategy. It saves a lot of energy."

Zeus did not duck. He did not panic. He simply tightened his grip on his silver sword. He prepared to show the entire canyon exactly why he was the most feared Prince in the Belmontia Empire. His piercing green eyes locked onto the falling monsters. The true extent of his power was about to be unleashed.

---

The Ashura monsters fell from the sky. They closed in on Zeus from every possible angle. Their sharp claws gleamed in the sunlight. They looked completely unstoppable.

Zeus stood perfectly still in the center of the trap. He did not look worried. He looked absolutely annoyed. He believed these creatures were a complete waste of his valuable time.

He raised his silver sword. He held the blade horizontally in front of his chest. He channeled his advanced spatial manipulation abilities directly into the weapon. The metal blade began to glow with a strange, pulsating white light. The air around the sword warped and twisted violently.

Zeus did not swing the sword at the monsters. He simply swung the glowing blade through the empty space around him. He spun his body in one smooth, perfectly calculated circle.

He executed a highly complex spatial slash.

He did not cut the physical bodies of the monsters. He literally cut the fabric of space itself. A thin, glowing white line appeared in the air in a perfect ring around him. The line expanded outward at blinding speed. It moved faster than the monsters could fall.

The expanding line of cut space passed directly through the leaping Ashura operatives.

The result was absolutely devastating.
