Risa drew a picture with colored pencils on the floor. She smiled a sweet, innocent smile. "I hope he brings back a nice potato. He really likes potatoes. I will draw a potato for him."

Ira stood perfectly still by the door. Her pale face showed zero emotion. "I will monitor the perimeter. His absence reduces our chaotic variables by ninety percent."

The elite girls felt totally relaxed. They trusted Ken completely. They believed he was perfectly safe on a quiet farm. They had absolutely no idea he was currently walking through a zombie-filled, corrupted kingdom.

Meanwhile, inside the Bluemoon Kingdom, the situation was completely desperate.

General Moin led a small group of royal survivors. He wore bright silver armor. The armor was cracked and dented. He held a large, sharp broadsword in his hands. His face was covered in dirt and sweat. He breathed very fast. His muscles ached terribly.

He guided three young royal family members through a dark stone alleyway. The young royals wore torn silk clothes. They cried softly. They wanted to escape the capital city. They wanted to find help.

"Keep moving," General Moin whispered urgently. He checked the dark corners. "We are almost at the secret exit. We just need to reach the outer wall. Stay behind me."

The young royals nodded quickly. They looked absolutely terrified. They stayed very quiet. They followed the brave general.

Suddenly, dark shadows completely blocked the alleyway ahead of them.

Four Black Magicians stepped out of the darkness. They wore ragged black robes. They wore pale white masks. Toxic purple magic crackled around their hands. They blocked the only escape route entirely.

"You are not going anywhere," one magician hissed coldly. The voice sounded like scraping metal. "Javier demands your absolute surrender. The royal bloodline ends today."

General Moin stepped directly in front of the young royals. He raised his broadsword high. His eyes burned with fierce, unbreakable determination. He was a proud warrior. He refused to give up. He refused to let the children die.

"Run!" General Moin ordered the royals. He did not look back at them. "Go back to the safe house! I will hold them off!"

The royals hesitated for a split second. Then, they turned around and sprinted back down the alley.

The Black Magicians laughed cruelly. They raised their hands. Dark purple energy blasts shot through the air. The magic zipped toward the fleeing children.

General Moin charged forward. He swung his sword with incredible strength. He unleashed his unique, powerful magic.

"Silver Slash!" General Moin roared loudly.

A bright, blinding silver wave of energy erupted from his blade. The silver wave clashed directly with the dark purple blasts. The impact created a massive explosion. Stone fragments flew everywhere. The alleyway shook violently. The silver magic totally canceled the dark attack. The children escaped safely into the shadows.

General Moin pushed through the thick smoke. He swung his blade in a flawless arc. He sliced the first magician across the chest. The magician fell to the cobblestones. He did not get back up.

"You underestimate the Bluemoon military!" General Moin shouted fiercely. He swung his sword again. He parried another dark energy blast. He kicked a second magician hard in the stomach. The magician crashed into a brick wall and slumped to the ground.

The general fought bravely. He fought with absolute honor. He protected his people with everything he had.

But the Black Magicians did not fight fair.

The third magician summoned a massive, dark purple whip. The magical whip lashed out rapidly. It wrapped tightly around General Moin's silver sword. The magician yanked his arm back hard. The sword flew right out of the general's hands. It clattered uselessly against the stones far away.

General Moin gasped. He was completely disarmed.

The fourth magician pointed a pale finger. A dark, jagged spear of pure shadow magic materialized in the air. The spear hummed with lethal power. It shot forward with blinding speed.

General Moin could not dodge. He did not have a magical shield.

The shadow spear struck him directly in the center of his chest.

The impact was brutal. The general gasped loudly. The dark magic pierced right through his thick silver armor. It shattered his chest plate. He fell to his knees. He clutched his chest with shaking hands. Bright red blood dripped from his mouth. He looked up at the pale masks. He did not show any fear. He only showed pure defiance.

"You will fail," General Moin whispered weakly. His vision blurred. "The light will return. You cannot conquer everything."

The fourth magician sneered. He flicked his wrist casually. The shadow spear exploded inside the general's chest.

General Moin collapsed onto the dirt. He stopped breathing entirely. The brave warrior was officially dead. He sacrificed his life for the kingdom.

The Black Magicians stood over his lifeless body. They did not care about his bravery. They did not care about his honor. They only cared about the mission.

"The general is eliminated," the leader reported into a magical communication crystal. "The royals are trapped in the northern sector. We will hunt them down next. The blood has been spilled."

Far away in the central plaza, Javier felt the sudden shift in the magical atmosphere.

The Neitherworld Devil Flower seed pulsed violently on the stone pavement. The dark roots glowed a bright, bloody red. The seed eagerly absorbed the spilled blood of the fallen general. The negative energy rushed rapidly into the plant. The dark magic fed on the tragic death.

Javier smiled a huge, sinister smile. His purple eyes shined brightly in the dark mist.

"Yes," Javier whispered softly. He stared at the glowing seed. He looked completely obsessed. "The blood feeds the roots. The death fuels the magic. The mental energy was not enough, but the sacrifice pushes it over the edge."

He raised his hands toward the sky. He felt absolute victory approaching.

"The seed is finally reaching its full growth," Javier announced to the empty plaza. "The absolute destruction is almost ready. The world will soon bow to the dark."

The Bluemoon Kingdom was totally trapped. The innocent citizens were mindless zombies walking the streets. The brave military leaders were falling one by one. The dark plan was progressing perfectly without any resistance. The kingdom was entirely doomed.

And a messy boy with a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips was slowly walking toward the center of the chaos. He complained loudly about the lack of comfortable seating. He had absolutely no idea he was about to ruin Javier's perfect plan.

---

Karna stood on the edge of a tall stone roof. He looked down at the dark streets of the Bluemoon Kingdom. The city was completely quiet. The purple fog drifted across the cobblestones. The citizens walked around like mindless zombies. They had glowing purple eyes. They shuffled their feet slowly. They dragged farming tools on the ground.

Black Magicians patrolled the dark alleyways. They wore ragged black robes. They wore pale white masks. They carried staffs that pulsed with dark magic. They thought they controlled the entire capital. They thought they were perfectly safe from any counterattack.
