Ken did not listen. He did not care about the dark mage's pleas. Javier had hurt innocent people. Javier had tried to summon a world-ending monster. Javier deserved no mercy.
Ken swung his arm downward.
The colossal Angel swung the massive sword.
The strike moved with completely absurd, impossible speed. The giant blade fell from the sky in a fraction of a millisecond. It moved so incredibly fast that the physical world could not handle the velocity.
The sheer speed and power of the strike created a massive crack in the very dimensions.
The air itself shattered like a pane of glass. A gigantic, jagged black fissure ripped open in the sky behind the falling sword. The sound of reality breaking was completely deafening. It sounded like the universe was tearing in half.
The colossal sword struck the street directly where Javier was kneeling.
There was no explosion. There was no fire. The strike was a display of pure, absolute erasure.
Javier was obliterated instantly. He did not feel pain. He did not have time to scream. The blinding light consumed his physical body, his dark magic, and his very soul in a single instant. He was completely, totally erased from existence. He left absolutely nothing behind. Not even a single pile of ash remained on the street.
The massive sword dissolved into soft, floating sparkles of light. The dimensional crack in the air slowly stitched itself back together, sealing smoothly. The colossal Angel in the sky faded away, blending into the bright, clear blue sky.
The battle was officially over.
Ken's elite servants watched the entire event from the nearby rooftops. They were totally stunned.
Ryu dropped to both knees. The massive dragon-man slammed his fists onto the roof. He bowed his head deeply. Tears of pure, fanatical joy streamed down his face.
"Absolute perfection!" Ryu roared passionately. "The Supreme One has displayed his ultimate might! The heavens themselves bow to his strike! I am incredibly honored to witness such glorious destruction!"
Leviathan stood perfectly still. The Demon Queen of the Serpents stared at the spot where the sword fell. Her violet eyes were wide with genuine awe. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest. She realized the true extent of his power.
"He just cracked the dimension with a simple swing," Leviathan whispered softly. Her voice lacked its usual seductive tease. "He could destroy this entire continent with a single thought. He truly is a god walking among insects. It is absolutely terrifying."

Karna offered a deep, flawless bow. The spymaster kept his hand over his heart. He felt immense, profound respect for his master. He knew Ken was the ultimate protector of this world.
Ken Eliot stood on the cobblestones. He lowered his hand. He shoved it back into his pocket. He let out a loud, dramatic yawn. He stretched his neck.
"Man, that took a lot of focus," Ken complained lazily to himself. "Swinging a giant sword is exhausting. My arm actually feels a little sore. I need to stop doing these big moves. I am going to need a very long massage later."
Ken turned around. He looked at the center of the ruined plaza.
Sitting on the cracked stone pavement was the Neitherworld Devil Flower. The dark plant was no longer glowing. The purple mist was gone. But the flower still looked incredibly dangerous. It was a massive threat. It needed to be dealt with permanently.
Ken shuffled toward the plant. He dragged his shoes on the ground. Scuff. Scuff. Scuff. He stopped right in front of the dark flower.
"Gardening is the absolute worst chore," Ken mumbled. He looked down at the twisted roots. "I hate pulling weeds. They always grow back. I need to make sure this thing stays closed forever. I do not want to come back here and do this again."
Ken did not use a massive, flashy spell this time. He did not summon an angel. He just raised his right foot.
He tapped his cheap shoe gently against the center of the dark flower.
"Seal," Ken stated lazily.
A brilliant, complex array of glowing white magical runes instantly erupted from his shoe. The runes wrapped tightly around the Neitherworld Devil Flower. They formed an unbreakable, absolute lock around the dark plant. The runes sank deep into the roots. They neutralized the dark magic completely.
The flower withered instantly. It shrank down until it was nothing more than a small, harmless, dead seed. The threat of the Great Black Soul Sovereign was entirely, permanently halted.
Ken smiled a goofy, relaxed smile. The mission was a total success.
"Perfect," Ken cheered happily. He turned his back on the sealed seed. "The bad guys are gone. The ugly plant is dead. My job here is officially done."

The 4th Prince of the Bluemoon Kingdom paced back and forth across the stone floor. His name was Noir. He walked from one wall to the other. His expensive leather boots clicked loudly against the stones. Click. Click. Click. He breathed very fast. He felt incredibly nervous. He also felt incredibly excited.
Noir was hiding inside a secret panic room. The room was located deep inside the royal palace. It sat far below the main floors. The walls were made of thick, solid rock. There were no windows. There was only one door. The door was locked tight from the inside. Nobody could enter without his permission. He was completely safe.
He stopped pacing. He looked down at his hands. He held a small, dark wooden box. He gripped the box very tightly. His knuckles turned white.
Inside the wooden box rested a very old book. The book was called the "Ode to a Nightmare". It was a forbidden magical item. The King of Bluemoon had locked it away in the deepest royal vault many years ago. The King ordered his guards to never touch it. The King knew the book contained terrible, dark secrets.
But Noir did not care about his father's rules. Noir stole the book.
Noir smiled a greedy, wicked smile. He remembered the secret meeting he had a few weeks ago. He had met with a man in the dark alleys of the capital. The man wore a dark cloak. The man had glowing purple eyes. His name was Javier. Javier was a powerful leader of the Black Magicians.
Javier had made a very simple deal with the 4th Prince.
"My father ignores me," Noir had complained to Javier. "He favors my older brothers. He gives them important military commands. He gives them shiny medals. He treats me like a useless child. I deserve to sit on the throne. I deserve to rule this kingdom."
Javier had smiled a cruel smile. "I can help you, Prince Noir. I can give you the entire kingdom. I can make you the new King. I will wipe out your brothers. I will wipe out the grandmasters. I will clear the path for you."
"What do you want in return?" Noir had asked.
