The punch sounded like a cannon firing. A massive shockwave of yellow electricity blasted outward. The intense voltage surged right through the monster's thick shell. The Bug King roared in pure agony. The sheer kinetic force of the punch sent the fifteen-foot-tall monster sliding backward across the cobblestones.

Laxmi punched her open palm. Her golden eyes widened in pure excitement. "That was an amazing punch! He did not even use fire! He just used raw electricity!"

"It is a highly advanced technique," Sayma noted politely. She clicked her pen. She wrote quickly in her notebook. "He compresses the lightning mana directly into his muscle fibers. It multiplies his physical strength exponentially. He hits like a falling meteor."

Zinia crossed her muscular arms. She nodded her head. "His close-quarters combat is flawless. He does not waste any motion. He strikes with absolute certainty."

Ken chewed his candy. He slouched his shoulders. He watched the fight with sleepy, half-closed eyes.

"He is using Thunder Breathing," Ken analyzed casually. He pointed a lazy finger at the battle. "It is exactly like that famous anime with the demon hunters. He channels the lightning into his legs and arms to move super fast. I bet his next move is a rapid dash attack. It is very predictable. But it looks very cool on screen."

The Bug King recovered its balance. The monster was furious. It opened its massive jaws. A bright, toxic green light gathered in the back of its throat. It prepared to unleash a gigantic, deadly beam of acid.

"He is casting a beam attack!" Naomi warned loudly.

Zeus saw the green light. He did not flinch. He crouched slightly. He channeled a massive surge of yellow lightning into his black boots. The ground beneath his feet cracked from the intense pressure.

"You are far too slow," Zeus stated coldly.

Zeus vanished from his spot. A loud sonic boom echoed across the plaza. He moved with blistering, impossible speed. He left a trail of yellow sparks behind him.

The monster fired the green acid beam. The toxic magic shot across the street. It melted a large stone fountain completely. But Zeus was not there.

Zeus appeared high in the air directly above the Bug King. He spun his body perfectly. He brought his right leg down in a brutal, falling axe kick. His boot glowed with blinding electricity.

He smashed his boot directly onto the top of the monster's bone crown.

CRACK!

The impact was absolutely devastating. The electrical current exploded downward. The Bug King's massive head slammed into the cobblestones. The street shattered. A huge crater opened in the dirt. The monster shrieked loudly. Its legs thrashed wildly in the air.

"Wow," Laxmi cheered. "He just dunked that bug into the pavement!"

Ken let out a massive, dramatic yawn. He stretched his arms high above his head. He rubbed his eyes.

"This guy really loves showing off," Ken mumbled lazily. He offered his bag of candy to Risa. Risa smiled sweetly and took a pink gummy worm. "He could have just used a normal spell from far away. But he wants everyone to see his cool martial arts. He is definitely a show-off."

Luna lay flat on a broken wooden cart nearby. The lightning user peeked one eye open. She watched Zeus use his electricity.

"His lightning is way too bright," Luna complained softly. She pulled her knitted blanket over her head. "It is hurting my eyes. And the thunder is too loud. Lightning should be quiet. He is doing it all wrong."

Ira stood perfectly still near the wall. Her pale face showed zero emotion. "Statistically speaking, close-quarters combat against a biologically enhanced target carries a high risk of injury. However, the 1st Prince possesses enough raw mana to negate the risk entirely. His defense is absolute."

Zeus landed gracefully on the street. He did not look tired. He did not breathe fast. He looked at the giant monster struggling in the crater.

The Bug King was not defeated yet. The dark purple shell was incredibly durable. The monster pushed itself out of the crater. It shook its massive head. The bone crown was cracked, but it was not broken. The toxic green veins pulsed rapidly across its body. The beast was totally enraged.

The monster swung all six of its jagged legs. It scrambled toward Zeus with terrifying speed. It wanted to rip the Prince into pieces.

Zeus stood perfectly straight. He raised both of his fists. The yellow lightning roared to life again. The air smelled strongly of ozone. The sky above the plaza began to darken. Small, dark storm clouds gathered directly over the battlefield.

The real, high-voltage duel was officially starting.

---

The dark clouds swirled above the plaza. Thunder rumbled softly in the sky. Zeus Belmontia stood in the center of the street. He lowered his stance. He brought his fists close to his chest. Bright yellow electricity crackled wildly across his white uniform.

The Bug King charged forward. The giant monster swung its massive scythe arms. It wanted to slice the Prince in half.

Zeus did not step back. He stepped forward.

"Lightning Strike Sequence," Zeus commanded coldly.

Zeus unleashed a rapid, relentless flurry of physical punches. He moved his arms with blistering speed. He looked like a blur of yellow light. He punched the monster's left scythe arm. He punched the right scythe arm. He punched the center of the dark purple chest shell.

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

Each punch landed with a deafening crash. The sheer kinetic force shook the ruined buildings around the plaza. The electrical voltage surged into the monster's body with every single strike. Bright sparks flew into the air.

The Bug King shrieked in agony. The electricity shocked its nervous system. Its massive body twitched violently. But the monster did not fall down. The dark purple shell was unimaginably thick. It absorbed a massive amount of the damage.

The monster retaliated aggressively. It opened its jaws. It sprayed a wide, sweeping wave of toxic green acid directly at Zeus.

Zeus stopped punching. He raised his right hand. He pointed his palm at the incoming acid wave.

"Vaporize," Zeus stated simply.

A massive, concentrated beam of pure yellow lightning shot from his palm. The beam acted exactly like a massive railgun. It roared through the air. The lightning beam slammed into the toxic acid wave. The intense, absolute heat of the electricity instantly vaporized the liquid. The green acid turned into harmless gray smoke in a fraction of a second.

The lightning beam continued forward. It struck the Bug King right in the face. The monster tumbled backward. It crashed into a stone wall.

Ken Eliot watched the attack from his rock. He slouched his shoulders even further. He tossed another gummy worm into his mouth.
