Fifteen people stood ahead of the soldiers. They were the elite captains. They were the absolute strongest spirits in Lancelot's shadow organization. They commanded the four departments. They waited for their master to speak.
Lancelot observed his fifteen captains. He admired their unique character designs.
Ryu stood on the far left. The giant dragon-man led the Frontal Assault Squad. He wore ancient armor. Dark red scales covered his muscular arms. His golden eyes burned with pure devotion. He looked completely ready to destroy a mountain.
Next to Ryu stood Erana. The fierce swordswoman rested a giant, towering longsword on her shoulder. She smiled a wild, excited smile.
Joseph stood perfectly still beside Erana. The earth magician wore rugged brown robes. He wore thick, rock-covered gauntlets. He looked like an immovable brick wall.
Merlin stood next to Joseph. The disciplined spearman wore shining silver armor. He held a glowing blue spear. He projected absolute, flawless military posture.
Mirajane floated gently above the ground. The elegant female magician wore a dark purple gown. She held a twisted wooden staff. She grinned a wicked, confident grin. She was the final captain of the assault team.
Lancelot shifted his glowing purple eye. He looked at the Assassination Unit captains.
Leviathan stood at the front. The Demon Queen of the Serpents looked breathtakingly beautiful. Her long emerald hair flowed like liquid water. She wore a sleek dark dress. Her violet eyes shined with a seductive, deadly light. She led the assassins.
Samiha stood next to Leviathan. She wore tight gray combat gear. She held a massive, mechanical drill-spear. The metal spiral hummed quietly. She looked incredibly fast.
Scissors stood nearby. The terrifying entity wore a dirty, blood-stained executioner's robe. Dirty bandages wrapped entirely around its face. It clacked its massive, rusty metal scissor blades together. Snip. Snip. It was the master of torture.
A new captain stood beside Scissors. His name was Zed. Zed was completely wrapped in dark shadows. He wore a sleek black ninja outfit. He held two curved, pitch-black daggers. He did not make a single sound. He was the ultimate silent killer.
Lancelot moved his gaze to the Espionage Network.
Karna stood tall and proud. The incredibly handsome spymaster wore a sleek black tactical jacket. His silver eyes were sharp and observant. He led the intelligence gatherers. He knew every single secret in the Belmontia Empire.
Vex stood next to Karna. Vex was a shapeshifter. He wore a simple gray suit. His face lacked any distinct features. He looked completely average. He could blend into any crowd. He was the perfect undercover agent.
Aria stood beside Vex. She wore a beautiful, flowing dress made of pure mist. She was the master of illusions. She could create fake realities. She smiled a very soft, mysterious smile.

Finally, Lancelot looked at the Technical Team captains.
Selina stood at the front of the scientists. The pure, gorgeous Unicorn spirit wore a simple white dress. Her pearlescent horn glowed softly on her forehead. Her crystalline blue eyes looked very kind. She was the absolute best medical healer in the world.
Jin stood next to Selina. He wore a clean white lab coat. He held a glowing blue magical tablet. He tapped the screen rapidly. He was the master hacker. He could break any security code.
Kael stood on the far right. He wore a dark leather apron. He held three glass vials filled with glowing liquid. He was the master alchemist. He created potent magical buffs for the army.
The fifteen captains stood in a perfect horizontal line. The ten thousand soldiers stood behind them. The entire shadow organization was completely assembled.
"This roster is totally overpowered," Ken thought lazily in his mind. He leaned back into his comfortable throne cushions. "I have the best damage dealers. I have the best healers. I have the best spies. The corrupt politicians do not stand a chance against this setup. I literally own a private army. I should probably give them a cool guild name. Maybe something with dragons. Dragons are always popular."
Lancelot did not smile. He maintained his freezing, intimidating persona.
He slowly leaned forward. He rested his dark-gloved hands on the armrests of his throne. He stared down at his massive army. The glowing purple eye in the center of his mask flared brightly. The entire colosseum went absolutely, undeniably silent.
Lancelot prepared to formally address his forces. The real, high-stakes planning was about to begin.
---
Lancelot sat on his dark throne. The ten thousand soldiers stood entirely motionless. The fifteen elite captains looked up at their master. They waited with absolute, fanatical devotion.
"You have all performed your duties flawlessly," Lancelot announced. His deep, echoing voice filled the massive underground colosseum. The voice lacked any human emotion. It sounded like cracking ice. "You dismantled the Black Magicians. You secured the borders. You gathered vital intelligence."
Ryu dropped to one knee. The giant dragon-man bowed his head. "We exist only to serve your glorious will, Supreme One! Your enemies are our enemies!"
Lancelot raised his hand. The simple gesture instantly silenced the fiery captain.
"The physical battles are currently paused," Lancelot stated coldly. He lowered his hand. "The Belmontia Empire is reacting to the recent destruction. The foreign nations are watching our borders. The Upper Council is incredibly panicked."
Ken Eliot let out a long, quiet sigh inside his mind.
"The politicians are totally freaking out," Ken analyzed casually. He popped an imaginary piece of candy into his mouth. "They are running around like headless chickens. It is very annoying to watch."
Lancelot focused his glowing purple eye on the center of the room.
"During the recent international summit, a diplomatic decision was made," Lancelot explained to his army. "The foreign leaders demanded absolute restrictions. Pope Isac issued a political injunction. I agreed to a temporary ban on my movements. I am officially restricted from crossing international borders. I am restricted from intervening in massive, global conflicts."
The elite captains frowned. They did not like hearing about restrictions.
Leviathan crossed her arms. Her violet eyes narrowed. "They dare to restrict you, Master? That is an absolute insult. Give me the word. I will assassinate the foreign kings tonight. They will never speak again."
"No," Lancelot commanded sharply. The freezing aura in the room intensified. "You will not assassinate the kings. If you kill the foreign leaders, you will start a global war. A global war causes massive, uncontrolled chaos. I absolutely despise uncontrolled chaos."
Ken agreed with his own statement entirely. "Wars require way too much running. I refuse to run. I just want to stay in my room."
Lancelot leaned back against his plush cushions. He projected total, undeniable confidence.
"The travel ban is actually highly beneficial," Lancelot declared smoothly. "It provides me with a perfect excuse to remain inactive in the public eye. It forces the corrupt politicians to deal with their own messes. However, the true mastermind behind the Solurious weapon is still hiding."
