Chapter 413: Chapter 211: Sister Yurou, Energy Form, Full Support

Furthermore, once the transformation was complete, they could no longer self-replicate or multiply through fission as they had before.

Without a power source to drive them, they quickly decomposed and died, making it difficult to form a stable organic structure.

This meant Lin Feng would have to expend dozens of times the physical energy just to force a change in how his body absorbed and released Energy.

’It seems that while the other path could solve the problem completely, reaching the end will be far from easy.’

With a low sigh, Lin Feng decided not to waste any more of his precious internal Energy.

The brief conversion experiment had already consumed several kilograms of Organic Nutrient Liquid. At this rate, without a foundation of several hundred, or even a thousand, Tier Two Zerg Eggs, he couldn’t hope to complete the Energy conversion anytime soon.

After all, this was one of the requirements for advancing from Tier Three to Tier Four.

’I’ve only just reached Tier Three. I should take it slow.’

After stowing the Ion Laser Cannon, Lin Feng glanced at the time. It was already seven in the evening; the banquet had probably begun.

Just then, a horn sounded from outside the Battleship.

Lin Feng stepped out and saw Chen Yanyan arriving to pick him up, piloting a Flying Wing Tank.

After he boarded the familiar Tank, Chen Yanyan began piloting it forward with her Spiritual Superpower while handing Lin Feng an exquisitely tailored black military uniform.

"Put this on. As the esteemed City Lord of Jin City Base and supreme leader of the Salvation Army, you can’t be receiving guests dressed for battle."

Lin Feng looked down at the simple sportswear he was wearing and took the custom-tailored military uniform from her.

After changing in the back seat, Lin Feng admired his reflection in the rearview mirror.

The custom-made uniform incorporated solemn elements reminiscent of Western royal nobility. Its black-and-silver color scheme, complete with a silver sash, created a heroic and dignified aura.

Combined with the power of Lin Feng’s own status as a Tier Three Life Form, his gaze was intense, and the aura he exuded was so potent it felt tangible. Chen Yanyan, watching from the side, was completely captivated, a blush creeping up her cheeks.

"Ahem, what do you think? Not bad, huh—"

Lin Feng cleared his throat, but before he could finish his sentence, the woman lunged forward, silencing him with her lips.

It wasn’t until a long while later, when the Tank arrived at its destination—the base’s administrative center—that Chen Yanyan reluctantly pulled away.

She straightened his collar and patted his epaulets.

"Alright, let’s go. I’ll notify Han Yuxin and have her bring our guest over."

Lin Feng nodded. After exiting the vehicle, he walked toward the brightly lit high-rise.

He nodded to the Tier One Peak Warriors stationed at the main entrance, then took the elevator to the City Lord’s office on the top floor.

Lin Feng sat at his desk and swiveled his chair to look out the floor-to-ceiling window behind him, gazing at the scattered, twinkling lights of the night...

Soon after, Han Yuxin led in a woman with a figure and features somewhat resembling Zhang Yurou. She was dressed in a form-fitting black business suit, her long, shapely legs sheathed in black stockings as she walked into the City Lord’s office in high heels.

Leaning back in his swivel chair, Lin Feng slowly turned to face her, a smile gracing his lips as he looked at Sister Yurou’s trusted secretary.

The woman froze for a moment upon seeing the City Lord’s face in person. It wasn’t until Han Yuxin, having composed herself, cleared her throat that the slightly dazed visitor was jolted back to reality.

The woman pushed up her glasses and spoke in a gentle voice.

"Hello, City Lord Lin. I am President Zhang’s secretary, and also her cousin, Zhang Zihan."

Lin Feng grunted in acknowledgment.

"Go on. Tell me the important matter Sister Yurou sent you to relay."

Zhang Zihan nodded and organized her thoughts before speaking.

"The Federation Steel United Group was formed from an alliance between the three original major steel and armaments corporations and the four largest coal enterprises in the Northwest Region. With a seven-member board of directors, it currently supplies logistical weapons and materials to all of the Federation’s war zones."

"However, as the defense of the Federal Capital shows growing signs of failure, the board of directors has decided to stop wasting limited resources by throwing them into the meaningless, bottomless pit that is the defensive war."

"This refusal, however, comes at a price—a very steep one."

"Therefore, we need to possess sufficient strength to protect ourselves before we face the wrath of the Federation’s forces."

Lin Feng maintained his smile, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"We can make an exception and provide you with a surplus of Tier Two Zerg Eggs. As long as you offer sufficient chips for the exchange, that won’t be a problem."

"It would be like taking the resources you were investing in the defensive war and using them to purchase Tier Two Zerg Eggs to strengthen your own forces. A transaction that offers excellent value."

Zhang Zihan nodded and continued.

"Correct. Not only will we provide you with various weapon production lines, but we will also cover the cost of all ammunition consumed by the Salvation Army in its fight against the Zerg Race..."

"Thanks to Sister Yurou’s mediation, the board has voted to fully support you and the forces of your base."

"In other words, we wish to forge an alliance with you, to stand or fall together."

Lin Feng’s expression grew solemn. He stared at the woman, who possessed only the strength of a Tier One Late Stage Awakening, and replied in a heavy tone.

"And the price for all this? What do I have to give in return?"

Zhang Zihan breathed an internal sigh of relief. ’Clearly, the man in front of me is even smarter than my cousin said. He doesn’t need me to spell it out for him.’

Facing his intense gaze and feeling the very air in the room grow heavy, Zhang Zihan pressed a hand to her chest and took a slow, deep breath.

"Sister Yurou hopes... that you will send troops directly."

"Or... that you will go yourself."

"She’s been waiting for you for a very long time."
