Apocalypse Online: I Awaken the Ultimate Bloodline
Chapter 53: Alchemy MasterySeana stared silently at the familiar yet unfamiliar words floating before her.
"Swordswoman..."
She had expected a class related to her Blood Power, but at least the system hadn’t assigned her something completely unrelated to her abilities.
"Forget it. It suits me well enough."
Her gaze shifted toward the remaining options.
"System, show me the subclasses and explain what they are."
Ping!

[Four compatible subclasses detected.]
——————————
[SUBCLASS OPTIONS]
• Array/Talisman Mastery:
The ability to perceive, manipulate, and arrange the flow of Qi into structured symbols known as Runes. Multiple Runes can be combined to form powerful Arrays.
• Armament Mastery:
The ability to forge, refine, and enhance Spirit Weapons, Artifacts, and Treasures.
• Alchemy Mastery:
The ability to refine Spirit Herbs and other materials into Spirit Pills, Elixirs, medicines, and other consumable treasures.
• Beast Taming Mastery:
The ability to communicate with Spirit Beasts, establish contracts, and form bonds with them.
——————————
Seana quietly read through the descriptions.
Each secondary path was powerful in its own way. Array Masters could create powerful formations, Armament Masters could forge weapons and treasures, and Beast Tamers could command powerful Spirit Beasts.
But only one immediately caught her attention.
Alchemy Mastery.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
That path suited her perfectly.
Before the apocalypse, she had spent years studying traditional and modern medicine, medicinal plants, chemical compounds, treatments, and the human body.
If this world possessed Spirit Herbs and medicinal treasures, her existing knowledge could give her a significant advantage.
"System, show me my talent in each subclass."
Ping!

[SUBCLASS TALENT EVALUATION]
[Array/Talisman Mastery]
• Talent: A-
[Armament Mastery]
• Talent: F+
[Alchemy Mastery]
• Talent: SSS++
[Beast Taming Mastery]
• Talent: F-
——————————
Silence filled the room.
Seana stared at the screen, her eyes slowly widening as they settled on one particular result.
SSS++.
Her mouth opened slightly.
"What...?"
She had always been proud of her medical knowledge, but she had never imagined the system would rate her talent this highly.
SSS++.
The letters almost seemed to mock her disbelief.
Seana slowly shook her head.
It’s not like I enjoy showing off or anything.
Before the apocalypse, she had already been accustomed to keeping a low profile. After fleeing her family in disguise, she had deliberately concealed her identity and abilities, knowing that her family’s wealth and influence would attract unnecessary attention.
She preferred staying beneath the radar.
Her gaze moved toward the remaining talents.
An A- in Array/Talisman Mastery wasn’t bad.
An F+ in Armament Mastery was nothing impressive.
And F- in Beast Taming...
"Yeah, I’ll pass."
Her attention returned to the glowing SSS++ rating.
Alchemy was the only subclass she truly cared about.
"System, show me my status."
Ping!
The crimson interface expanded before her eyes.

[PASSIVE SKILLS]
Poison Resistance — Level 5
Minor toxins, venoms, and harmful substances have greatly reduced effects on the Host.

Heart of Hope — Level 5
A heart that refuses to abandon others naturally becomes a beacon in times of despair.
The Host’s sincere words can inspire those who have lost the will to live, strengthening their resolve and gradually restoring their hope.

[TECHNIQUES]
• Crimson Blood Sovereign Art — First Form: Crimson Lotus Burial:
Condenses high-density Crimson Blood Qi around the Blood Moon Sword before unleashing a strike in the shape of a blooming crimson lotus.
Upon striking the target, the energy penetrates its outer defenses before violently detonating from within, creating multiple overlapping layers of razor-sharp sword energy.
[EQUIPMENT]
Soul Weapon: Blood Moon Sword
A unique sword formed through the interaction of the Host’s sword energy and soul energy. The weapon is intrinsically connected to the Host and can be summoned at will.
Crimson Lotus Silk Robe
Formed from the evolved Shadow Weave Cloak through the Host’s Blood Qi. The robe possesses defensive properties and can resist both physical and energy-based attacks.

Seana stared at her evolved system interface.
Then her eyes stopped on one particular detail.
Name: Seana Salaze.
Her surname.
Her mind immediately drifted toward her family—her father, the Salaze estate, and the life she had left behind.
Her fingers clenched.
For a moment, her eyes became slightly moist.
Dad...
She quickly shook her head.
Not now.
She couldn’t allow herself to become distracted.
They’ll survive. They have to.
Her gaze moved downward.
Bloodline: Unknown [Locked].
Then she looked at the empty subclass slot.
It seems I’ll have to open my own Alchemy path.
Perhaps if she encountered and recognized certain Spirit Herbs, the system would provide the knowledge she needed to begin. But even if it didn’t, Seana wasn’t worried.
Talent was only the foundation.
What mattered was how much effort she was willing to put into developing it.
Still, she wanted to confirm something.
"System."
"I choose Alchemy Mastery as my subclass."
Silence.
Seana blinked.
She waited.
Nothing happened.
No familiar Ping.
No glowing text followed.
"..."
She nodded slowly.
Fair enough.
The system probably couldn’t grant her the knowledge of an entire profession simply because she had selected it. She would have to develop the path herself.
Seana slowly opened her eyes.
The first thing she saw was Lothe.
He was staring directly at her.
Not subtly.
He was simply staring.
Seana frowned.
"What is that?"
Her words snapped him out of his thoughts.
Lothe blinked.
"You look beautiful."
Silence.
Seana’s face instantly turned red.
"...What?"
She couldn’t believe what she had just heard.
When did this guy become so shameless?
Desperate to shift the conversation away from herself, she quickly replied, "And you look dashing."
Lothe nodded confidently.
"I know."
Seana nearly coughed blood.
What kind of shameless person is this?
"O-Okay."
She immediately looked away.
That was when she noticed her clothes.
Her Shadow Weave Cloak was gone. In its place was an elegant crimson cultivation robe.
The upper garment fitted naturally around her slender figure before flowing into long, layered robes that reached her ankles. Wide sleeves hung gracefully from her arms, moving like crimson waves whenever she shifted.
Fine black embroidery traced the edges of the fabric, forming delicate lotus and leaf patterns that blended naturally with the crimson silk.
A dark sash wrapped around her waist, holding the layered robe in place while adding to its elegant, dignified appearance.
The robe wasn’t overly ornate. Its beauty came from its simplicity—the flowing fabric, wide sleeves, dark accents, and graceful silhouette made her look as though she had stepped out of an ancient cultivation world.
Yet beneath its beauty was something far more dangerous.
The entire robe had been formed from her Blood Qi.
Every strand of silk carried defensive power, allowing it to resist both physical and energy-based attacks.
Seana lightly ran her fingers across the fabric.
For some reason, wearing it felt strangely natural.
Almost as though this was the clothing she had always been meant to wear.
Seeing it on the status screen had been one thing.
Wearing it was something else entirely.
Then Seana noticed another change.
Her hair.
It had always been black, but now it looked darker and smoother, like black silk beneath the moonlight. It contrasted beautifully against her pale skin.
She reached behind her head and touched it.
"Lothe."
"Hmm?"
"Take out my bag."
"Okay."
Lothe’s consciousness entered his Spatial Ring. After searching through it, he found her familiar bag with the small fox toy hanging from its side.
He retrieved it and handed it to her.
Seana opened the zipper and reached inside.
Lothe watched curiously.
Then she pulled out a mirror.
He froze.
"...You carry a mirror?"
Seana noticed his expression.
"What?"
"You carry a mirror?"
"Yes."
She raised an eyebrow.
"Don’t look at me like that."
"It’s a girl thing."
Lothe stared at her.
Seana ignored him and raised the mirror.
The moment she saw her reflection, she froze.
Even she was stunned.
Her features had become sharper and more refined. Her black eyes shone brighter than before, carrying a dangerous beauty that made her look completely different from the woman she had been before her breakthrough.
For several seconds, she simply stared.
Then her mind recalled the ridiculously handsome man standing beside her.
Forget it. He’s still more handsome.
She quickly put the mirror away.
With a thought, it disappeared into her Soul Manor.
Seana blinked.
"How convenient."
She looked toward Lothe.
"Isn’t it time to share the loot?"
Lothe raised an eyebrow.
"What loot?"
Seana’s eyes widened.
"What loot?"
"Yes."
"From the battles with the four Silver Horned Wolves all the way to the last beast!"
She pointed at him.
"Bring them out."
Lothe nearly laughed.
So this was another side of Seana.
She had hidden quite a lot from him.
Well... I have plenty of time to find out.
"Okay."
Seana’s eyes immediately brightened.
But before she could celebrate, Lothe added, "Under one condition."
Her expression changed.
"What condition?"
Lothe looked at her seriously.
"I want a hug."
Whoosh!
The words had barely left his mouth when a small fist flew toward his face.
Lothe casually tilted his head, dodging the punch. At the same time, he caught her wrist.
Seana’s eyes widened.
"What—"
Lothe pulled her toward him and wrapped his arms around her before she could react.
"Hey!"
Seana struggled against him.
"You! Let go of me this instant!"
"No."
Lothe tightened his arms around her waist.
His answer was completely shameless.
