Listening to Ye Xuan, he quickly figured out that this was not regular water.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have said the last few words.

In that case, he would test the efficacy himself, so that he could understand how much each person needed. He could also be a poison tester if there was a problem with the water.

Without further thinking, Uncle Jun unscrewed the bottle cap and took a sip of the water. He didn’t drink too much, just a sip.

Nonetheless, he could fill his body recovering its energy at a fast speed. Even his dried ability was recovering, albeit at a slow pace. Yet, for this to happen without using crystal cores was a miracle.

He now understood what everyone needed depending on their degree of exhaustion and injuries.

Even though he hadn’t cleaned his injuries yet, he could already feel that the bleeding had stopped almost immediately after the first sip.

Thus, he took another sip and gave the bottle to the person next to him. This was a young man nearly his nephew’s age and was injured the worst.

If not treated promptly, he probably wouldn’t survive the night.

"Take four sips." He instructed.

"But Uncle Jun, you only took two. I should just take one. You need your strength more since you are always protecting everyone." The young man shook his head.

Ye Xuan was surprised that he wasn’t greedy to drink more when told to only take four sips and was in fact, advocating for Uncle Jun to drink more while he took less.

A group of truly intriguing people.

"Just listen to me and drink as I said." Uncle Jun looked sombre as he said this and the young man dared not argue further.

He took for small sips from the water bottle and to his surprise, the bleeding on his mangled wounds stopped almost immediately.

He could also feel his body recovering some spiritual energy and strength.

His eyes widened in disbelief as he looked incredulously at the water bottle that had been passed to the person next to him.

It was his long-time friend, Xiao Jun. They had been friends since middle school and when the apocalypse descended, they were playing outside together.

It took them days to fight their way to his house, only to find that his entire family had turned to zombies.

Yet, he had no time to grieve as he employed Xiao Jun’s help to incapacitate them all so that they wouldn’t hurt people.

He knew that his family wouldn’t want to be flesh-eating monsters.

Once they were done, Xiao Jun had convinced him to go home together.

He had no where else to go, so he followed his friend.

They made it back soon after since they were neighbors.

Xiao Jun’s family was luckier. His mother, uncle, and brother had survived. But his younger sister and father hadn’t made it.

Thus, he started living with the Jun family and they treated him like one of them.

However, as the apocalypse went on and disasters followed one after another and zombies attacked small bases from time to time, the rest of the Jun family died and now only his friend and Uncle Jun were left.

The small base they had joined in the South had been overrun by zombies with everyone nearly perishing.

Their small group was a hunting team that took missions to hunt for zombies or scavenge supplies in exchange for housing and other needs.

When the base was attacked, they were out on a mission. On their way back, they met some survivors from the base who had managed to escape in the chaos, and only then did they learn that the base was no longer there.

It had been overtaken by zombies.

Thus, they had no where to go and had to turn back and find another place to settle.

It was during this time they were wandering around that they heard about City A, which had been reclaimed and there was not a single zombie inside.

So, they decided to try their luck by going there. They had faced many hardships on the road.

Getting robbed, almost used as food, and many other inhumane things he didn’t want to think about.

If Uncle Jun hadn’t advanced to the fifth level first, their small team would have died long ago.

Luckily, another team member also advanced to the fifth level by chance. But their lack of food for a long period of time had made their bodies completely weak.

Even with their abilities, protecting themselves from normal zombies and humans with ulterior motives was a chore.

When they faced those mutated dogs, they had thought they would die today and never reach City A.

Even though no one voiced this thought, everyone thought the same.

However, now they had been saved, and this benefactor even gave them such miraculous water.

Tears began falling from the young man’s eyes. He hadn’t felt so much relief in a long time and without caring that others were watching, he bowled his eyes out.

Those who hadn’t drank the water yet didn’t understand, but those who had understood his feelings, so they said nothing and secretly wiped the tears forming in their eyes.

Once everyone had drank the water, they felt their spirits lift and Uncle Jun proceeded to help everyone clean their wounds.

He was afraid they would waste such precious water, so, he did the cleaning himself.

They didn’t even have bandages, do after cleaning the wounds, they just left them in the open.

Ye Xuan saw this and seeing how they remained silent and didn’t take the initiative to ask for anything, his impression of them improved further.

He took out bandages from his space ring and gave them to Uncle Jun.

"If the wounds are left exposed, they will get infected. Wrap them up." He said.

Uncle Jun didn’t argue and quickly bandaged everyone, including himself.

After everything was done, Ye Xuan took out some mutated fish he had caught in the stream inside the Soul Ring.
