"Let’s go."

"I don’t know," Chu Miao replied calmly. "But if this truly was a zombie base, then tens of millions of zombies could not have gathered here without leaving traces of whoever commanded them."

The two disappeared into the ruins, heading toward the concealed underground entrance.

Neither noticed the faint red light that flashed once beneath the rubble before silently going dark.
