Leo didn’t waste any time. Using Void Sense, he confirmed the next depot was empty before activating Void Walk. His body faded into the darkness, reappearing a heartbeat later inside the steel shed.

Unfortunately, the sight before him wasn’t much different from the previous depot.

"Food again."

Rows of wooden crates sat stacked across the enormous shed. Leo pried open a few of them. Rice, canned fish, and canned meat filled the spaces, alongside several boxes of bottled water. Everything looked newly produced and well before any expiration date.

Lacking the time for a thorough search, Leo grabbed thirty bags of rice. He stored those, along with several boxes of fish and meat, deep inside his Pocket Space.

Shifting through the remaining crates, Leo paused. Medicine. His eyes lit up.

Several sealed boxes contained painkillers, antibiotics, bandages, disinfectants, and other medical supplies. Knowing medicine was far more valuable than food, Leo stored the entire batch. Satisfied, he slipped out of the depot.

He made his way to the third location marked on Rex’s map. The moment his Void Sense swept the area, his eyes narrowed. The shed was much larger than the previous ones. Unlike the food depots, this one held weapons.

Activating Void Walk, he phased through the thick steel wall. The moment he stepped inside, his eyes went wide.

Weapons. Everywhere.

Rows upon rows of racks filled the enormous shed. Rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, and shotguns sat on display. A few rocket launchers rested neatly inside large weapon crates, placed right next to towering stacks of ammunition boxes.

But that wasn’t all. His gaze drifted to the far side of the depot, where several metal racks displayed cold weapons: swords, spears, battle axes, and shields.

Walking over, he picked up one of the swords. It was much heavier than it looked, its dark metallic blade catching the faint light inside the shed.

"This isn’t an ordinary alloy."

Leo swung it once. Whoosh! The blade sliced clean through the air. He nodded in satisfaction.

Getting to work, he began storing everything he could. Rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers, and ammunition vanished into thin air. Boxes of grenades, swords, and shields followed. Anything useful disappeared into his Pocket Space.

However, the space inside had a limit. Before long, Leo frowned.

"It can’t hold much more."

With his storage nearing capacity, he looked at the remaining arsenal. He had no intention of leaving it behind. There was still time.

Triggering Void Walk, Leo phased out of the depot. Once certain the coast was clear, he sprinted back to his truck. Throwing open the cargo compartment, he unloaded the supplies. Food, a handful of rifles, and the cold weapons piled up. Boxes of ammunition filled the back. He stacked the rifles along one side, fitting machine guns and rocket launchers into whatever gaps remained. The advanced swords and shields went in carefully. He crammed goods into every inch of empty space he could find.

Soon, the cargo compartment was packed tight. Satisfied with his haul, Leo closed the door, turned on his heel, and headed back to the weapons depot.

...

This time, perhaps because everything had gone so smoothly, carelessness set in. Leo made a mistake.

He skipped using Void Sense. He neglected to check the interior. Approaching the steel wall, he just used Void Walk and vanished.

Inside the depot, Rose stood among the weapon racks. She held a sword in her hand, staring at a blade unlike anything she had seen before. Forged from an unknown dark alloy, it looked ordinary, yet she could sense a strange aura about it.

She was about to inspect it further when a faint ripple distorted the air behind her. Her body went stiff. Someone was here. Rose spun around, her eyes going wide.

A dark figure stood several meters away, draped in a black robe and a deep hood. Despite his partially concealed face, she recognized him on sight.

"You—"

She never got the chance to finish.

Blink. Leo disappeared.

Rose’s pupils shrank to pinpricks. Before she could even flinch, he materialized at her back. Chop! The edge of his hand struck the base of her neck.

Her eyes rolled back. The sword slipped from her loose grip as she collapsed. Catching her before her head hit the floor, Leo gently lowered her down.

Staring at the unconscious girl, he stood silent for a long moment before letting out a quiet sigh.

"That’s unfortunate."

He had no intention of killing Rose; they had no real conflict of interest. The military might let a few stolen supplies slide, but Rose was clearly someone important. Tony’s protective behavior last time had made that obvious. Even though she had joined the attack against him later, Leo wasn’t quite sure how to handle her.

But one thing was certain: the moment she woke up, the military would know someone had breached the depot. His heist was officially over.

Sweeping his gaze across the room, he muttered, "I should take whatever I can."

He got moving. Passing up the ordinary weapons, he focused purely on the high-value goods. Advanced ammunition, machine guns, rocket launchers, grenades, and high-tech rifles—anything rare or unusual vanished into his Pocket Space. This round, he prioritized the ammo.

Once his storage hit its limit again, Leo stopped. His gaze fell back on Rose. He only had a few minutes before someone realized she was missing. Wasting no more time, he triggered Void Walk. His body faded from the depot.

Seconds later, only the unconscious Rose remained in the silent shed.

*****************

On the other side of the grounds, the members of the Freedom Convoy stood easy right in the middle of the camp.

Groans of pain filled the air around them. Dozens of soldiers lay scattered on the dirt, clutching bruised arms and broken limbs, while others leaned heavily against nearby trucks just to stay upright. Even surrounded by a sea of armed troops, the Convoy showed no signs of wearing out.

The guards who could still stand kept a safe distance. Their rifles remained raised, but no one pressed a trigger. Both sides held back. No one was dead, and every person in that yard knew that pushing the fight any further would bring no good to anyone.

The line of standing soldiers parted down the middle. A tall, middle-aged officer stepped through the gap in full uniform.

Colonel Adrian.

His sharp eyes tracked across the wounded men on the dirt before locking onto the Freedom Convoy. His face darkened.

"What is going on here?"
