Armed Train in the Apocalypse
Chapter 821 - 468: Death Fight Arena (Part 2)He didn’t know if he would have another chance to meet the opponent in the future. If he couldn’t issue a challenge when he was at his strongest, the boiling blood and desire for battle might scorch him.
Su Huan, however, didn’t have the slightest awareness of him as a crisis, and instead gazed at the distant sky, letting out a soft "Hmm".
The next moment, a howling wind swept in from afar, and an iron kite with a wingspan exceeding ten meters skimmed through the sky. What was shocking was that the opponent’s body was ablaze with flames, like a burning airplane, crashing towards the arena amid the crowd’s cries of astonishment.
The "Death Fight Arena" domain was instantly breached, and the iron kite was encompassed inside before gradually closing together.
Then came an earth-shaking wail, which caused the bystanders outside the domain to bleed from their ears, while Hua Junyan and others above were trembling. Such terrifying pressure made them feel like mice seeing a cat, and instinctual fear consumed their brains.
Cheng Zhan warily looked at the iron kite. Though he, too, was a Tier Three, there was nothing he could do against the opponent. Yet facing this lord among Evolution Beasts, he had no chance of winning.
"Bang!"
The iron kite’s head exploded once more, as a dozen thick steel spikes seemed to appear out of thin air, piercing through the kite’s body, nailing it to the ground.
It was like a child cruelly depriving a sparrow of its freedom.
A shadowy figure, entirely black, jumped out from the flames, leaving black footprints on the crimson ground with each step.
Then, like mud peeling off a beggar’s chicken, normal skin emerged underneath.
Su Huan’s gaze never rested on the iron kite, but he looked with a puzzled and peculiar expression at the top of the kite, until a tall young figure appeared.
The metallic shells fell one by one, revealing a young man in a black short-sleeve shirt, his hair tousled by the pressure of the flames, his gaze clear and resolute, "Armed Train, Xiaoba reporting in."
The young man then turned his gaze to Cheng Zhan, who looked stern, the aura of a Tier Three Evolver unabashedly bearing down on the opponent, his voice carrying a hint of chill, "Is this an enemy?"
Another Tier Three!
This one is a powerful "Controller!"
The audience already felt their attendance was worth it.
Even Hua Junyan was speechless, internally repeating Xiaoba’s name before recalling the people sent into the Rust Area on Su Huan’s mission.
They were Tier Two when they left, so how did they become Tier Three upon their return?
Before he could understand what was happening, a flaming arrow came rushing like a shooting star, crossing the "Death Fight Arena" to hit the ground, instantly forming a sea of fire that connected with the flames around the iron kite, burning even more fiercely.
The previously dying iron kite grew weaker.
Flames quickly occupied half the arena, vying with the "Death Fight Arena" domain.
Flames shot up to the sky, casting the terrified expressions of many.
In the pupils of the crowd, a bright spot simultaneously appeared at the edge of the arena, holding a Flaming Longbow, its gray-green coat streaming fire downward, an overwhelming killing intent surging.
"Armed Train, Lin Jin reporting in!"
Another Tier Three!
Not only the audience but even the Mine City bosses were stunned to the point of numbness.
Only He Jie scratched his head in dissatisfaction, "These guys are truly showoffs..."
Faced with the two powerful opponents before him, Cheng Zhan fell into silence.
Not to mention two, he might not be able to take down even one, especially with the Train Master whose depth is unknown, this beating might be quite severe.
"The momentum is grand, but it’s not yet your turn to stick your neck out for me."
Su Huan chuckled softly, stepping toward Cheng Zhan.
The latter’s pupils contracted suddenly, but before he could react, a cold hand gripped his neck and shook him vigorously.
Cheng Zhan felt as if the energy within his body was sealed, the body could move, but it felt as if his bones were removed, very awkward.
The domain was shattered by a kaleidoscope of colors.
Both flames and killing intent vanished without a trace, leaving only the legendary Train Master before him. The other merely lifted his chin slightly, exuding a weary, indifferent aggression.
Feeling the powerlessness of life and death being controlled by others, Cheng Zhan fell into deeper silence.
So strong that it was despairing, even unable to muster fighting spirit.
"Awake?"
Su Huan said calmly.
"Would you kill me with a single move?"
Cheng Zhan asked, sidestepping the question.
Su Huan wasn’t puzzled, just slightly speechless, as if everyone he encountered had a bit of paranoia. Isn’t living well enough?
Why ask such questions.
"It’s bound to get physical."
Su Huan said with seriousness.
Whether he would slit or crush him wasn’t mentioned; the opponent’s hard-won promotion warranted listening to positive news for future growth.
"Can I challenge you in the future?"
"Challenge, ah, it’s not impossible." Su Huan’s eyes flickered, "But you’re too weak now. Know the Gravity Zone? Over by Plant Zone, you can swing by there first. There’s a guy named Lian Jin, the top fighter in the arena there, known as the War Giant. Beat him first and then come find me."
"War Giant Lian Jin?"
Hearing the imposing name, Cheng Zhan’s eyes lit up, and he nodded, "I memorized it, are there many such experts in the south?"
"Plenty, yes. Like, there’s a Golden Kite expert with a long spear in Black Kite, one who likes to hold an umbrella, and Deep Blue Data, that’s teeming with hidden talents, but the premise is finding their headquarters. When you go, don’t say a word, smash the place first, or they might feel too embarrassed to fight you, without a row words can’t lead to blows..."
