"What?? How is that possible? But he’s reported as missing in action. Didn’t the environment of zone zero take care of him?" Deepsea was completely shocked.

"They presumed this to be traps set by someone who was familiar with the environment. Their conclusions were that Aiden Vhorn is behind these traps, considering his past tactical feats. They are not 100 percent certain about this, but it’s the best conclusion they leaned towards. Considering the fact that The Analyser’s computations have still not ruled him out, he’s alive. It makes sense that he is the one behind those traps because only someone who knows zone zero like the back of his hand could have set those meticulous traps to kill people. Deepsea listened to Leonis carefully.

He realized the emperor was making a solid point.

"I intentionally gave an order for the operatives we’ve been sending there to search the place for the corpses of our fallen operatives in zone zero so that we can honor them by giving them a proper burial. I did this because I wanted to specifically see if they could find his corpse there, but they didn’t. Initially, I assumed some beast had eaten him or something. But now that we’ve confirmed he’s alive, it means..." Deepsea stopped speaking.

"Yes... he has gone MIA on purpose. He has disappeared because he feels like he has made too many enemies. First the industries in the empire that want him dead, then the Cyrenthia Empire, and then he has offended four military admirals. Leonis nodded. "I don’t know why, but Aiden Vhorn knows something about us. He probably knows about our plans from the beginning. He must have known all the missions you’ve been handing him, the stage you set to publicly ask him to be your disciple, corner him, and use it as a mask to cripple his opportunities, were all on all my orders. He must have played along because he was planning to go MIA from the beginning. Either that or the situation benefited him. I don’t know how such a situation could benefit him, and we will never know, but... that’s the only logical conclusion we can come to."

Deepsea was completely terrified.

During the conversation, the three other admirals had come into the room. They sat there quietly and listened to the conversation between Deepsea and Leonis.

They were shocked and terrified too.

The operative they thought had been dangling on the palm of their hands had played them.

He has been several steps ahead of them from the beginning?

"Terrifying, right? Someone labeled a catastrophic threat by the Analyser is not someone easy to kill. I anticipated this. Don’t worry, I have a backup plan," Leonis said.

Everyone in the room was quietly listening to him.

"He must be somewhere in the southern continent at the moment. But he’s not stupid enough to return to the Eldorath Empire or venture Cyrenthia Empire territory. He must be in one of the neighboring empires. I’ve dispatched assassins of the Order there. If he shows up in any of these empires, he will be killed. The members of the Order there have also been notified about his appearance, his affinity, and the fact that he should be killed on sight," Leonis said.

Everyone nodded.

It looks like Leonis was finally getting serious. Getting assassins of the Order involved was not a small issue. They were the real deal.

They could not be found or traced. That meant that they could not be eliminated. But Aiden Vhorn had mysteriously discovered five of their members. He really was a catastrophic threat. He had to be killed as soon as possible.

"Have you considered the possibility that he could have left the southern continent?" Admiral Newton said.

Everyone looked at Leonis for his response.

"Of course. Similar arrangements have been made on the other continents. The moment he reveals his face or affinity in any place across the four continents where he’s unfortunate to have encountered a member of the Order, assassins of the Order will be dispatched immediately and they will end him," Leonis added.

"Alright."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Indeed."

"Brother Leonis is very sharp."

"He really is..."

"For the Order and for humanity."

Everyone chanted the motto of the Order with fanatic glints flashing through their eyes.

No one would stand in the salvation the Order would bring to Endra. The world was sick, full of trouble, and needed salvation. The world had to be put to eternal rest. The Order had a mission to do that.

No one would stand in the way of that.
