The Master of Nothingness’s actions, and the immense Energy surging from the ancient Restricted Area, had drawn the attention of other forces in the Cosmos!
The omens of darkness’s descent could no longer be concealed!
And those "Awakened" beings summoned by the Master of Nothingness had also sensed the presence of the "container" and were converging on this place!
The ancient Restricted Area instantly became the focal point of the entire Cosmos!
It became the junction where darkness and all sides’ forces met!
The situation grew more complex and perilous than ever before!
The "container" seemed to sense the arrival of these auras as well.
He looked at the light pillar that was being repaired, then at Yu Kong and Xu Qinghan, the cold glow of calculation flickering in his hollow sockets.

"Yu Kong! Be careful!" Xu Qinghan shouted as well, then forced herself to endure her injuries, once more fixing her gaze upon that gray light pillar!
She knew this was their one chance!
She had to succeed!
Yu Kong burst out from the depths of the Restricted Area, and immediately slammed into the first wave of enemies!
They were several titanic monsters formed from twisted flesh and black crystal, radiating dense dark aura!
In their hollow eye sockets, bloodthirsty light flickered; seeing Yu Kong, a being radiating pure Power of Guardian, they instantly let out furious roars and lunged at him!
Yu Kong showed no fear. His longsword swept out, golden Sword Light churning toward the horde of monsters like a meat grinder!
A brutal battle exploded in an instant at the entrance of the ancient Restricted Area!
Meanwhile, deep within the Restricted Area, Xu Qinghan clenched her teeth and again pushed all the Power within her body, aiming the Jade Sword at that gray light pillar the "container" was repairing!
"Fire Ignition!"
The Secret Skill’s incantation echoed in her mind; the Guardian Origin within her perfectly merged with the Cosmic Origin Power she had obtained, transforming into a golden flame threaded with starlight!
She poured this "Fire" into the Jade Sword!
The Jade Sword burst forth with unprecedented radiance, as if bearing the hope of the entire Cosmos!
She raised the Jade Sword, exerting every ounce of her strength, and unleashed her strongest strike toward the gray light pillar!
"For Guardian!"
Sword Light streaked like a meteor, cleaving through the darkness to slash viciously against the gray light pillar!
That pillar was the channel of descent for the Master of Nothingness! It was the symbol of dark erosion!
It was proof that Senior Brother Xu Ran had been completely assimilated!
She would sever it! Even if she were smashed to pieces, she would sever it!
Sword Light collided with the pillar! There was no heaven-shaking explosion, only a tooth-grating sound of friction, as though two utterly different "concepts" were mutually annihilating!
The gray light pillar trembled violently, its cracks rapidly widening!
The "container" let out a far more shrill silent roar! He had sensed a mortal threat!
He abandoned the repair, stretching out his abstract limbs, trying to seize the Jade Sword in Xu Qinghan’s hand!
He could not allow this Fire to sever the channel!
But Xu Qinghan had already given everything! Her Power was burning to the absolute limit in that moment!
The Jade Sword’s radiance suppressed the gray pillar’s light!
"Crack—!"
A far louder shattering sound rang out!
The gray light pillar snapped in the middle beneath the Jade Sword’s strike!
The severed pillar did not immediately dissipate, but twisted and writhed madly, as if unwilling to accept being cut off!
The "container’s" body jolted violently! The connection between him and the pillar was forcibly severed, and a terrifying backlash surged into his body in an instant!
His body, condensed from Law, began to flicker unstably, countless collapsing Runes appearing on its surface!
"Incomplete... incomplete..." A cold voice echoed in his "consciousness," carrying a trace of... anger? Or rather, computational error?
The anchor-point channel had been forcibly severed, made incomplete!
This meant the Master of Nothingness could no longer fully descend through this channel!

She had done it! She had severed the light pillar! But she no longer had any Power left to withstand the "container’s" attack!
At the very instant the "container" was about to reach Xu Qinghan, a golden figure flashed into existence before her like Lightning!
It was Yu Kong!
She didn’t know when he had managed to fight his way back!
His body was covered in wounds, his aura in disarray—he had clearly just gone through a brutal clash!
But he stood before Xu Qinghan, his longsword once more erupting with dazzling golden light!
"Yu Kong!" Xu Qinghan cried out in shock.
"Qinghan! I will be your Guardian!" Yu Kong’s voice was hoarse, yet unshakably firm.
Facing the "container," still terrifying beyond measure despite the backlash he had suffered, Yu Kong did not retreat in the slightest!
He knew he was no match for the "container"! But he had to block him! To win even a single breath of time for Xu Qinghan!
The "container’s" attack did not pause. Carrying "anger" toward Xu Qinghan and the "obstacle-clearing" directive toward Yu Kong, he slammed a fist at Yu Kong!
This punch bore twisted Law and the rot of void, as though it would hammer Yu Kong and the space around him into absolute nothingness!
Yu Kong clenched his teeth, gathering the last trace of Power of Guardian within his body onto his longsword!
"Guardian Sword, never yield!"
He swung his sword to meet the "container’s" fist!
No flourish, no retreat! This was the purest will of a Guardian—even if the Powers were worlds apart, even in the face of death, he would die rather than abandon Guardian!
Golden Sword Light collided with the gray fist!
"Boom—!"
A blast that shook the Cosmos erupted in the depths of the ancient Restricted Area!
The terrifying Energy storm razed everything around flat, the space completely shattering to form a vast region of nothingness!
Yu Kong’s figure was instantly swallowed by the explosion!
Xu Qinghan let out a piercing, grief-stricken scream!
