The Power of Fire seemed to be absorbing the Cosmic Origin Fragments that permeated the battlefield, as well as the Law remnants that had scattered after being corroded by the Power of Nothingness. It was a peculiar way of growth, allowing her to become stronger as she fought.

"Pioneers of the Master of Nothingness!" The old man roared. His War Axe had already shattered, yet his momentum did not diminish in the slightest. When he saw Xu Qinghan charge into the battlefield, a flash of admiration passed through his eyes, but even more was worry.

"Child, you cannot waste your time here! Your mission is to seek out more Fire, to ignite true hope!" the old man shouted loudly, trying to open a path for Xu Qinghan.

Xu Qinghan heard the old man’s words; she knew he meant well. But she could not abandon these comrades who were fighting for her. She had to fight, she had to personally feel the cruelty of this cataclysm, she had to use her own Power to protect all that was worth protecting.

"I will not abandon a single comrade!" Though Xu Qinghan’s voice carried a slight tremor, it was filled with indisputable resolve.

She suddenly accelerated, charging toward a Cosmic powerhouse besieged by Void Hunters. She brandished her fists, faint golden light flickering upon them; every strike carried the Purifying Power of Fire, forcing those Void Hunters back.

Her Power was still not enough to slay these Void Hunters, but it could effectively disrupt them, winning precious breathing room for the beleaguered powerhouse.

"My thanks!" That powerhouse gave Xu Qinghan a grateful look, then threw himself back into the battle.

Xu Qinghan weaved through the battlefield; her figure was slender, yet in the chaotic flames of war she traced arc after arc of golden light. She was like a feeble spark, tenaciously burning in the darkness, using her own radiance to illuminate everyone around her.

She felt the pulsing of the Fire within her; it was not merely Power, but a kind of inheritance, a kind of Belief. Yu Kong’s sacrifice was not meaningless. He had used his life to pave this road for her, to ignite the seed of hope.

She knew she could not fail Yu Kong’s sacrifice, could not fail everyone’s expectations. She had to live, had to grow stronger, had to find a way to save her senior brother, to save the Cosmos!

And in this Eternal Restricted Area, at the very moment when the cataclysm descended in full, an era belonging to Xu Qinghan was quietly opening amid a baptism of blood and fire.

Her gaze once more turned to that twisted anchor point, to that figure who had once been her senior brother.

"Senior brother, wait for me..." she murmured again, this time her voice brimming with Power, brimming with unquestionable determination.

She would pour Yu Kong’s Fire, the Guardians’ inheritance, all of her hope, into that feeble "self" flame, to make it blaze anew, to allow senior brother Xu Ran to truly return from the Abyss of Nothingness!

This was not only her mission, but also her obsession, her hope!

And in this Restricted Area shrouded by darkness, the radiance of Fire, though faint, had never gone out. It was like guidance in the dark, illuminating the path ahead of Xu Qinghan, and illuminating for the entire Cosmos that future which hung by a thread yet refused to yield.

The war still raged. Xu Qinghan still fought.

Every step she took carried a heavy mission; every breath she drew was filled with tenacious will.

Another deafening blast erupted. Deep within the Restricted Area, that twisted anchor point trembled violently. Pillar after pillar of gray light shot up to the heavens, each as thick as a mountain, carrying the Power of Nothingness that corroded all things, spreading out in all directions. This was the backlash of the Master of Nothingness after its "container" was continuously disrupted by Yu Kong’s Fire. It was trying to stabilize the anchor point, while also pouring even stronger Power across the entire Restricted Area.

"Not good! The Master of Nothingness’s Power is growing stronger!" The ancient War Armor elder roared. With one swing he cleaved apart a Fallen one, yet more Void Hunters shadowed his movements, winding around him. He was already a spent arrow; his War Armor was covered in cracks, blood dripping down his arms.

Xu Qinghan felt an unprecedented sense of oppression. The Power of Nothingness radiating from those gray pillars of light was several times denser than before; even the Fire within her felt immense pressure, its golden glow dimming somewhat. The Fallen became even more frenzied, and the Void Hunters even harder to grasp; their claws tore through space, able even to touch the very Source of the Laws.

"Roar!"

Another Pioneer descended! It was even larger than the previous ones, its body wreathed in pitch-black thunder. With each step it took, the earth collapsed and space warped. Its eyes were like two blood moons, emitting a cold and cruel radiance as they locked directly onto Xu Qinghan.

"Igniter of Fire, die!" That Pioneer let out a roar that shook the Cosmos. Wherever the sound waves passed, countless weaker beings exploded into blood mist on the spot, their Divine Souls corroded away completely.

It raised a colossal claw, blotting out the sky as it slapped down viciously toward Xu Qinghan! That was no simple physical strike, but a blow imbued with Void Law’s destruction, enough to completely erase an entire star system.

Xu Qinghan’s pupils shrank sharply; she felt the threat of death. The Fire within her body beat madly, erupting with unprecedented radiance in an attempt to resist this annihilating Power. Yet she knew that with her current strength, she could not possibly stand against such an existence.

"Fall back!"

At that critical instant, the ancient War Armor elder suddenly charged over. He burned his own Source, Divine Light blazing from his War Armor. The tattered War Axe was lifted high in his hands as he met the Pioneer’s colossal claw head-on.

"Ancient God War Axe, cleave the heavens!" The elder let out his final roar. In that moment his body grew immeasurably vast, as though he had returned to the primordial age, becoming an Ancient God who split heaven and earth.

Rumble—!

The heaven-shaking collision resounded through the Restricted Area. Laws collapsed, space shattered, forming a gigantic black hole of Nothingness. The elder’s Ancient God War Axe clashed brutally with the Pioneer’s claw, unleashing Energy fluctuations beyond imagination.

However, the Pioneer’s Power was far too great. After holding out for less than a single breath, the Ancient God War Axe let out a sharp crack and shattered completely! The elder’s body likewise split inch by inch, turning into a skyful of blood mist that dispersed into Nothingness.

"Elder!" Xu Qinghan was grief-stricken. She had watched with her own eyes as this mighty one, who sacrificed himself to protect her, was crushed like an ant before the Pioneers of the Master of Nothingness.

"Stupid ants!" The Pioneer coldly withdrew its claw; it did not spare even a single extra glance for the dispersing blood mist. Its gaze locked onto Xu Qinghan once more, filled with ultimate killing intent.

"You are next!"

Xu Qinghan’s heart bled, yet her eyes grew only more resolute. The elder’s sacrifice had not been in vain; he had won her a precious instant!

She did not choose to meet the blow head-on, but instead used the residual force of the Pioneer’s attack to hurl herself backward, while frantically driving the Fire to absorb the surrounding Cosmic Origin Fragments and Law remnants into her body. On the brink between life and death, her potential was ignited, and the Power of Fire surged, growing at a furious pace.
