Beastmaster of the Ages

The five imperatores that gathered there all seemed domineering in their own right. Imperator Mo of the divine ashuran race was a thin cosmic god dressed in a monochrome robe, surrounded by countless black tendrils of miasma. His eyes were as deep as bottomless vortices. He sported a head of waterfall-like long hair and his pale-white skin was covered in many blood markings that contained the power of disasters.

Imperator Ming of the Virtue Pantheon was seated to the left of Imperator Mo. He was covered in white bandages and had ninety-seven terrifying eyeballs all over his body. Imperator Yinne of the Sin Pantheon sat to Imperator Mo's right. Her gaze was incredibly cold and she had countless black feathers growing out of her back, framing her graceful and exquisite figure.

Two imperatores sat opposite the aforementioned three, namely, Imperator Cang of the Sundown Pantheon and Imperator Yan of the Starfall Pantheon. Those two had pulled back from participating in the attack on the Primordial Sands, causing a rift between them and the ashuras, Sin and Virtue Pantheons.

Imperator Cang's body glowed brilliantly like a celestial deity, but his expression was neutral. Imperator Yan, on the other hand, glowed bright like the stars and was hailed as the most beautiful star of the Starfall Pantheon. The refined radiance coming from his body made him appear like the most beautiful work of art in the universe. He was just as deadpan as the other imperator.

"You two seem to be enjoying yourselves recently," Imperator Yinne said in a mocking tone, spreading her black wings. "Your early retreat from the Primordial Sands made us suffer heavy casualties!"

Imperator Yan smiled coldly and said, "I already told you that the crook Li Tianming attacked Ninefirm Imperius. If I didn't retreat, I would've lost my imperial star."

Naturally, Imperator Cang was also on the same side as Imperator Yan. He slammed the table and added, "If your imperial stars were attacked by Li Tianming, you would've done the same thing. Stop pretending you're above us."

"Let's not bring up matters of the past," Imperator Mo said to the other four. "This time around, we've been summoned by Imperator Shen of the wonderians. Do not forget that we have important matters to discuss."

Imperator Yan chuckled. "Important matters? Don't tell me they wants us to help the wonderians wipe out Tian Jiu."

Imperator Cang emotionlessly said, "Wow, they sure do see us in too high regard."

Imperator Mo glared at them. "Let me ascertain one thing. Is our main goal still to eliminate Li Tianming?"

"Of course," Imperator Cang said, showing emotion for the first time in the form of a cold smile. "My little empress was also kidnapped. The Sundown Pantheon has suffered endless humiliation from it! That brat will pay a price for daring to attack my imperial star!"

Imperator Yan didn't look much better in that regard. "That thief entered our ancestral mausoleum and stole our precious sword art. He destroyed the Ninefirm Mausoleum! Our people will never side with him!"

"Since our goal is still the same, that's good enough," Imperator Mo said. "The wonderians also have the same goal. Why don't we cooperate with them on this matter alone and leave other matters for the future?"

"Very well." There were no disagreements.

After some time, a snow-white glow appeared amidst the clouds. Two exalted figures stepped out of the gathered clouds, one male, one female. Both of them were dressed in snow-white garments that matched the color of their long, flowing hair. Their similarly pale eyes exuded a sense of unshakeable tranquility.

The clouds around them seemed to blend their silhouettes into one. There wasn't a single flaw that could be seen on their entire beings. Both of them were as beautiful as people could be. Their eyes, noses and mouths were perfectly sculpted works of art. Their slender and tall figures were incredibly well balanced. There was nothing that could take away the sense of perfection they gave off. They were two, but also one. This was Imperator Shen, the most exalted being in the Realm of Order.

With the exception of the devas, the leaders of six factions in the Eightpart Pantheons had assembled. Imperator Shen took the higher most seats. After sitting down, one looked to the left and the other looked to the right.

"We've all assembled. Very well," said the man and woman in unison. Their voice resonated deeply in everyone's hearts.

"Imperator Shen, I heard that your Wondersky Fairy fled," Imperator Ming said slyly.

Imperator Yan nodded and said, "I heard about that too. The wondersky realms that you have painstakingly constructed were wiped out completely."

"It is but a small matter of little concern." Imperator Shen didn't elaborate. Both of them were so emotionless that nobody could figure out their thoughts.

"Since that's the case, how are the wonderians doing overall?" Imperator Mo asked. The fact he didn't need to outright mention was the threat that Tian Jiu posed.

"Nothing serious. Things are under control," they said in unison. "In fact, I would like to introduce all of you to someone who can help us with our problem."

"Oh?"

"Who is that?"

The imperatores were quite curious.

Imperator Shen said, "The wife of Di Yi, King of the Xenoworld."

Countless silver lines formed within the cloud and congregated into a silver vortex. Boundless silver waves poured out of the vortex and took the form of a silvery liquid woman. Her entire body shone bright silver while her haughty eyes radiated endless frost. Her silver hair fluttered amidst the clouds and her body itself seemed to exude sword intent, giving the impression that she was incredibly sharp.

The other imperatores' expressions immediately changed as they felt an unimaginable power coming from that being. Power that far surpassed that of imperatores.

"She is Shen Wu," said the mixed voice of the man and woman. "She was the one behind the pathway to the Primordial Sands and Tian Jiu."

The imperatores looked at Shen Wu in shock. Why would Imperator Shen join Shen Wu's side if she was the one who triggered the Tian Jiu incident?
