The wonderians’ emotions violently fluctuated as they witnessed the Perpetual Wonderqueen devoured. She was utterly unable to struggle, as if she was sinking into a mire.
Her screams grew weaker and weaker, until they were finally cut off.
Moran’s eyes swept across the crowd while she withdrew her countless wonders. Everything, including the Perpetual Wonderqueen, had returned to their progenitor.
“This is the fate of all traitors who defect to Li Tianming,” she declared mercilessly.
The wonderians’ initial shock soon gave way to elation, as they realized that Tian Jiu had spoken to them!
Prior to this, when Tian Jiu was on her eating spree, she had never spoken, as if they were nothing more than her food.
But now, things seemed different. Furthermore, she had devoured the traitor, the Perpetual Wonderqueen!
A sense of reverence began to rise among the crowd. Only Tian Jiu could judge a traitor so decisively. Even Imperator Shen would have struggled to capture the Perpetual Wonderqueen so cleanly.
The wonderians’ fear and panic begin to shift to a growing sense of acceptance.
However... No one knew that within Weisheng Moran, inside the layers of wonders surrounding her stomach, the Wondersky Fairy suddenly opened her eyes!

Her words moved countless wonderians to tears.
The male and female Imperator Shen finally smiled. “We welcome the return of our progenitor!” Their voices resounded across the entire city.
They led all the elites behind them in kneeling toward Moran.

Many stopped fleeing, overwhelmed with emotion. The legend of Tian Jiu that had haunted them for years seemed to have finally lifted.
Countless peak experts of the wonderians knelt in worship before her.
Moran aloofly surveyed them. Yet, she was inwardly conflicted.
Across Wondrium Imperius, the progenitor’s return made the entire race go wild. They were about to usher in a never before seen golden age.
The male Imperator Shen smiled and looked at her. “Thank you, Progenitor, for dealing with the traitor and showing all the consequences of betrayal.”
“As it should be,” Moran replied indifferently. “From now on, any traitor will share the Perpetual Wonderqueen’s fate.”
The female Imperator Shen spoke coolly, “Now that internal strife is resolved, we can focus fully on Li Tianming, and cleanse the Flameyellow remnants from this universe.”
“Indeed. Make preparations,” Moran said simply, before turning and leaving.
After she departed, the two Imperator Shen also withdrew. They made their way to a secluded palace, seemingly unconcerned that Tian Jiu’s appearance would affect their authority.
“The progenitor’s return will place our wonderians at the true peak of the universe,” the male Imperator Shen said coldly. There was reverence in his tone, but no fear.
“Shen Wu’s control can restrain Tian Jiu. Authority remains in our hands,” the female Imperator Shen said calmly.
“Then next comes Li Tianming’s death.”
“Let us prepare.”
The final hunt for Li Tianming had begun.

Yin Chen relayed the events on Wondrium Imperius.
“Little Fish has finally appeared?” Tianming learned of Moran’s appearance, but her actions there were clearly troubling. He also hadn’t expected the Wondersky Fairy to be captured and devoured...
That left him uncomfortable. After all, she had defected to him.
“Is she Little Fish... or Tian Jiu now?” Tianming felt a trace of worry. He quickly summoned Wudi and the five imperial-star elders to update them.
“What? Such a turn of events?” Elder Dongfang Taisheng’s face grew worried upon hearing the news.
“We’ve been guessing their next move, but I never expected it to be Tian Jiu...” Mushan Hong’s expression was grave.
Back then, Tianming had vouched for Moran, but something had clearly gone wrong. The five elders didn’t say anything out loud, but their concern was plain to see.
“Could she be under their control?” Wudi speculated.
“That’s possible,” Tianming said, equally troubled. After all, their enemies were the mysterious and powerful Number Monsters. Nothing could be ruled out
But regardless, Tianming firmly believed Weisheng Moran was his Little Fish. She would never truly become “Tian Jiu.”
