Beyond Chaos – A DiceRPG

[1707] – Y07.207 – Darkness In Our Hearts VII

“No way!” Virot gasped.

“Yes way!” Jirot replied.

“Wow!”

“Right?”

‘Why are they so funny together?’ Adam thought, reaching down to spoon the boiled vegetables for his son, who pulled his head away.

“No,” Xarot groaned, shaking his head.

“Don’t you start.” Adam planted a kiss on his son’s cheek, causing the boy to side eye him, as though he wouldn’t fall for that, only to immediately open his mouth for the vegetables. “Well done, Xababy.”

“Babo, he fought the Full Moon, yeah?”

“Yeah!” Virot replied, nodding her head.

“Yeah, and you know what he did?”

“Yeah!” Virot replied, nodding her head.

“The Full Moon attacked babo so much, she hit him again, and again, and her magical sword, it attacked babo, and she used her magic too, because she’s an Oathsworn.”

“Oooh.”

“Then, babo, he just standing, but then, he swung his axe!” Jirot declared.

Virot gasped.

“Yeah!” Jirot declared.

“Yeah!” Virot replied, nodding her head.

“Then, he said, my greatchildren, they have not seen it yet.” Jirot flexed her muscles. “Fourth Gate spells, were they always this weak?”

“Wow!” Virot gasped.

“Then Full Moon, she kept trying to beat up babo, she made him bleed so much, but babo, he stepped forward, and he beat her up with his axe, and you know what he said?”

“Yeah!” Virot replied, nodding her head.

“A Paragon?”

Virot gasped.

“Yes! You should be at least that strong to dare to have such courage!”

Virot clapped her hands.

“Then, babo asked her to attack again, and then, when she had no more Fourth Gate spells, he beat her up with his axe!”

“Oooh!”

“Babo, he did not dance first, he wanted to show us how tough he was, and babo, babo is so tough, the toughest!”

“Yeah!” Virot replied, nodding her head, and for once, she knew this.

“Of coas, I helped babo, because he was hurt so much, so I had to heal him, because, remember, we are mummy’s daughters, and mummy is so good at healing, and so are we, okay?”

“Okay!”

“Virot.”

“Yeah?”

“Guess what?”

Virot blinked.

“There was another fight!”

Virot gasped once more, clutching at her cup against her chest. “Yeah?”

“Yeah!” Jirot replied, reaching up to run her fingers through her air, as though it was exhausting to speak the tale. “You know who fought?”

“Yeah!”

“Daddy!”

Virot gasped. “No!”

“Yeah!”

“No!”

“Yeah!”

“Daddy?”

“Yeah!”

“No!” Virot gasped, turning to her father, to take him within her sights. “Daddy fight?”

“Yeah.”

“No!”

Jirot held her sister’s cheeks. “Yeah.”

Virot gasped. “Yeah?”

“Daddy fought the New Moon.”

“Moon!” Virot looked up towards the sky.

“The other New Moon.”

“Oooh!”

“Daddy, he raised his axe, and then there was such big fire, and he swung one time, and that was it, daddy win.”

“Daddy win?” Virot gasped.

“Yes! Daddy win, so you must kiss him!”

“N-,”

Jirot held her sister’s face and pinched her cheeks. “You think you can bully daddy because you are so cute?”

Virot smirked.

“You are right, but you must give daddy a kiss because he beat up the New Moon, okay?”

“Mm…” Virot remained within her sister’s hands, and realised she could not cause trouble, so she stood and waddled her way to her father, and as she made to climb, Adam lifted her up with a hand, and she kissed his cheek, and after accepting a kiss from her father, he placed her down and she scurried away, returning to her kaka.

“Then nano Shayfev, she fought so well, she beat up Waxing Moon with her arms, and she fought like this,” Jirot said, holding out her arms, making them move like waves crashing, causing Virot to cackle with such delight, the girl squealing, throwing out her own arms.

“It’s okay,” little Jarot said, leaning in to whisper into Damrot’s ear. “Your daddy, he fought so much too.”

“My daddy?”

“Your daddy,” Jarot assured, holding the boy’s hand, and Damrot smiled, sitting beside his cousin, who he called his brother.

Afraz remained to one side, and he turned to look towards Gangak. “How are our great grandchildren so sweet?”

“They are their mother’s children.”

“Ah, yes.” Afraz slowly nodded his head, and slowly his eyes trailed towards his grandson, who side eyed him.

“Xarot, you must beat up this jiddo of mine,” Adam grumbled, holding up Xarot, who twitched as he saw the bald old man. Afraz smiled, causing the boy to narrow his eyes, and little Xarot reached up towards his father, narrowing his eyes.

“Daddy…”

“Yes, Xababy?”

Xarot nestled into his father’s chest.

“No way!” Virot gasped, turning her head to try and find her babo.

“Yes way!” Jirot replied. “Your babo Dogek, he fought so well! He beat up Waning Moon!”

“Oooh!” Virot declared.

“One day, Virot, you will see me, and I will fight too, and I will beat them up, okay?”

“Okay!”

The two sisters embraced one another and as they held one another, the two girls exchanged kisses, although eventually Jirot surrendered the girl to Jarot, though she hugged Damrot, and as the twins remained with the two littler ones, Adam’s heart throbbed lightly.

‘I’m so glad they’re so sweet to their younger siblings…’

“Damrot is my son,” Jurot said.

“This is getting out of hand,” Adam accused, pointing to his brother. “You can’t be coming into my mind like that!”

“I-,” Jurot replied, as Xarot came face to face with him. “Xarot.”

“Popo…”

“Papo.”

“Popo.”

“Poo poo?” Jurot asked.

Xarot’s eyes lit with recognition and the boy squealed, clapping his hands together excitedly.

“Kekeke! Papo! You said poo poo!” Jirot said, pointing towards Jurot.

“Yes.”

The children squealed, causing Jurot to turn slowly towards Adam, and the two understood the mistake Jurot had made.

“I thought you had another son?” Afraz asked.

“I do,” Adam said, glancing around. “Hey. Where’s Larot?”

“Larot is…” Zirot, the Family Elder turned to look towards Jirot, who raised her brows, for she, too, had asked where the boy had been. “Since he is Jirot’s brother, he caused some trouble.”

“What?” Adam and Jirot replied together.

“My papa Larot does not cause trouble!” Jirot declared. “Who say he caused trouble?”

“The Chief.”

Jirot narrowed her eyes, and slowly her eyes trailed towards her father, trying to judge what he should say next.

Adam nodded.

“It is the Chief who is trouble!” Jirot declared, and then quickly shuffled her way to her father, ignoring her mother’s gaze from the corner. “My papa Larot is the kindest boy in the whole world.”

Little Jarot blinked. He turned to look to his father.

“Yeah!” Virot declared.

“Yeah!” Little Jarot said.

“Yeah!” Damrot said.

“Mm…” Konarot mused, glancing aside to Kirot and Karot. “A little bit trouble?”

“A little bit trouble,” Jirot confirmed.

“Our great grandchildren are so funny too,” Afraz whispered.

“Since they are their mother’s children.”

“Ah, yes.”Afraz slowly nodded his head, and slowly his eyes trailed towards his grandson, who side eyed him.

“You really are my jiddo…” Adam whispered.

“Of course.”

“Of coas!” came the echo.
