Chapter 10: 10: PRATICE? NO!

They stood there at the entrance as June smiled. "Well, look on the bright side—at least we got this novel I randomly picked up for free..."

But the librarian walked out and snatched the book from him. "Humph," he said as he turned and walked back in.

"..." June blinked, empty-handed. "At least give me the chips then."

June smiled at Nyx as he said, "Oh well, would you look at that! It seems the universe doesn’t want us to read at all! So we might as well go home!"

He turned and ran off without even looking back. "Get home safe, Blondie!"

Nyx stood there watching him leave without saying anything. He casually blinked and stared at the book in his hand. "But my book is still inside there..."

The next day, Nyx had insisted on another meeting. According to his schedule, they were to meet and practice all day until the D-day.

Nyx hesitated before he slowly picked up his chopsticks and slowly began eating.

First taste, and he paused. The taste sank in and caught him by the tongue. Nyx was instantly intrigued as he slowly took another bite and found himself binge-eating the food.

June smiled as he shook his head. "You do have quite an appetite, and here you are nagging me. You should be grateful to this boss here for bringing you to eat."

June enjoyed watching this cute villain eat as he began blabbing about his favorite meals there. "Hey, you should also try this... here... it’s so delicious."

"I really think we should go and practice at the academy."

June was done eating as he slowly nodded, wiping his mouth clean with the napkin. "Mmm, I see. I understand your worries, and they’re valid."

He stared up at Nyx.

Nyx raised an eyebrow. "So we’ll finally go and practice...?"

June slowly nodded. "Of course we will. It’s inevitable." He sighed as he gently wiped off an invisible teardrop from his eyes.

And the next second, the two were down together at a yoga room with both hands clasped together in yoga uniforms.
