Seoha’s POV

Trying to catch Taesan before he falls against the bed is a bad idea.

He manages to hold himself up, but I am reminded of our size difference.

My alpha is big.

Very very big.

I swallow my thoughts and help him to the bed, carefully assisting him with sitting.

Yeon mom is looking at me like he can read my mind, and I shyly avert my gaze.

I don’t want him to know that I thought of Taesan putting my nipples in his mouth just three minutes after waking up from a long coma.

"Are they already having sex?" my grandma’s voice loudly says from the door, and I cover my face with my palms.

Oh no.

"Aigoo...let me see" the old and feisty woman pushes her way into the room with Jisu behind her.

Taesan is sitting on the edge of the bed. He places his hand on my stomach and gently pulls me back so I can sit on his lap.

This is so embarrassing.

"Oppa, you’re alive" Jisu says with a happy look on her face, and Taesan hums quietly.

"Taesan is very alive by the smell of it. It smells like medicine, sex, and shamelessness in here" my grandma says.

"Grandma" I whine.

"Wow, and Jaehyun thinks I’m the worst at teasing them" Yeon snickers and comes closer to us.

But the closer the older omega comes, the more Taesan holds me tighter. I can hear him growling at Yeon, and I relax against his back.

"How do you feel?" Yeon asks him and I turn my head slightly to look at him.

"Strange" Taesan says, and I can hear the reluctancy in his tone.

"You might be having holes in your memories, but that’s okay. The medications I used on you are quite strong" Yeon says and Taesan nods, drawing circles on the side of my tummy to keep himself under control.

His hand on me makes me realize just how big I’m getting.

"So what happened to me, why am I bandaged like this?" Taesan asks impatiently.

"You were attacked by Shin Yechan. He shot you" Grandma says and Taesan nods.

"I think I can remember that now. But how did I end up here?" he asks.

"Oppa, I followed you that day. I got back from the store, and they told me you went out, and because I haven’t seen you in a while, I followed your car with a taxi to prank you" Jisu says from behind my grandma.

"You...that was risky, Jisu. You could have gotten hurt" Taesan scolds her and my heart warms.

She’s his younger sister at this point.

"I know, but I really also wanted to be there to expose you if you had dared to kiss that idol man" Jisu says sassily.

Idol man? Is she talking about Jaemin? Wait...I haven’t seen or heard anything about Jaemin in a while.

"Taesan would never kiss Jaemin" I say, leaning into my mate with confidence.

"You can never be too sure of alphas, oppa" Jisu says with a solemn look on her face and Yeon clears his throat.

"Can I check in on my patient now?" he asks and I try to move, but Taesan doesn’t let me.

"I thought that bastard hurt you," he says, looking at my grandma.

"He didn’t" grandma says.

"He tied me and left me to die. He knew you weren’t dead, but it was part of his plan. He needed Seoha to be sane enough to return to him before you could die. If Jisu hadn’t shown up, we would have been dead" grandma explains and Taesan sighs.

"Fuck" he mutters.

"It’s okay. We’re safe here, and noona is coming here with Sooin" I say softly and he sighs again.

"Our pups are safe?" he asks and I nod, smiling at him even though my neck hurts.

"Let me tend to your wounds" Yeon says, gesturing for me to get up.

"I have to get up" I tell my alpha and he grunts.

"Ten minutes," he says, letting go of me reluctantly.

I get up immediately, but after just two seconds of being away from him, I start to miss his heat again.

I lean against the small cabinet in the room, watching as Yeon asks questions, checks certain places and finally straightens up.

"How quickly you’re healing is strange. You shouldn’t be this active or healthy yet" Yeon says and he sounds impressed with it.

"I heal faster than most alphas, and it’s likely due to my history with abuse" Taesan says and I wince.

I hate being reminded of what he has endured and suffered since he was little.

I’m so glad he’s a survivor.

"I will be taking the bandages off so you can wash up. But you have to remain in bed after that" Yeon says and pats Taesan’s shoulder.

"Your outside is healing fine, but the inside still needs help. Plus, you’re still heavily drugged" the older omega man says and Taesan nods grimly.

"Fine" Taesan says begrudgingly.

"Everyone but grandma can leave" Yeon says and Taesan points at me.

"He stays"

"He doesn’t" Yeon counters.

"He fucking stays" Taesan insists and a slipper suddenly hits his head, making everyone in the room gasp.

"I have been itching to hit you since you woke up. If you choose to be stubborn, I have a second slipper" my grandma warns and Taesan huffs.

"Fine" he spits out and Yeon laughs.

"My son, Jaehyun, is exactly the same when it comes to his mate" he says before shooing us out of the room.

"I’ll call you back when he needs help with bathing" Grandma announces.

"So you can have sex in the-"

"GRANDMA!" I yell and Jisu starts to cackle next to me.

"Don’t laugh" I whine.

"Don’t worry oppa, everyone already knows you’ve had sex, you’re pregnant after all" she says and runs down the hall.

"JISU" I yell at her, but she ignores me, still laughing with too much happiness.

I guess life is going back to normal.

I lean against the wall and wait. I really can’t wait to be called in to help Taesan shower.
