Ivar tossed the broken pieces of the Silverfang away, and then a wave of intimidation aura gushed out of his body.
"Intimidation!"
Fang Raon was hit by a powerful Intimidation spell. It made him feel fear like he had never felt before.
Right in front of his eyes, Ivar turned into a thing that he feared the most in the whole world—his blind self.
’No...’
Fang Raon was afraid to go back to his former life, where he was blind and completely useless with no hope in life.
His dying self.
In that moment, he shook his head.
’What a powerful Intimidation spell! It must be level 6 or 7. I almost control myself for a moment there.’
Fang Raon thought.
Then, he formed a fist with his right and punched through the air in front of him, which destroyed the Intimidation spell.
He used Maxima to destroy the spell!
"Maxima can destroy everything. Even mental spells such as that one."
Fang Raon said.
"Impressive."
Ivar said, and then he pointed his finger towards the dark void above, and a giant ghost hammer appeared out of nowhere.
It was massive. Something only a giant could wield. It was ready to hit Fang Raon like a nail.
"The Ghost Hammer of the Ivar!"
The hammer came down. Raon jumped towards it with his fist ready. He punched the hammer with everything he got.
"Maxima Punch!"
The hammer shattered!
Ivar picked up the axe from the ground and swung it towards Raon, releasing a powerful wave of energy.
"Axe Maxima Strike!"
"Skydance!"
Fang Raon jumped over the attack, and then he kicked the air behind him and propelled towards Ivar.
"Who Needs Swords!"
He godspeeded past Ivar, and suddenly, his sturdy Viking body started bleeding as five cuts appeared on his chest.
"Argh!"
Ivar groaned with pain.
They both turned around to face each other, and Fang Raon’s punches flew towards him like a meteor shower.
Ivar put the axe in the way, and the punches contacted the sturdy blade of the axe, and sparks flew in all directions.
Thump~! Thump~!
Fang Raon tried punching through the axe, but the axe was not an ordinary tool. It was made of hard Viking Metal found on the 41th floor.
From Ivar’s hometown.
[LadyBelle: This is bad. Raon doesn’t have a weapon!]
[JohnsonLaw: Doesn’t he have a spare weapon lying around? Most people at least carry one extra in case they lose their main weapon!]
[LadyBelle: Doesn’t look like it...]
Fang Raon wasn’t paying any attention to the chat or how his stream was doing, but something special was happening.
[Viewers: 5]
The number of the viewers had slowly risen, and the number never went down. Whoever came to watch stayed.
After all, there was a very high-level fight going on currently in the stream, and they were glued to their seats!
In that moment, Fang Raon punched again. Ivar put the axe in the way. Then, Raon’s punch suddenly stopped.
It was faint!
He punched from below and hit Ivar in the jaw and sent him flying across the platform towards the dark void.
However.
Before he could fall, Ivar stopped himself and wiped the blood off his lips.
"Ivar’s Trifecta of Murderous Souls."
Ivar grabbed the axe with both hands, and soon, two clones of him jumped out of his body and stood on his left and right sides.
They also had the exact same axe in hand.
"Aurel’s Phantom Step."
Fang Raon started walking circles around Ivar and his clones. Then, his steps changed a pace, and soon, there were dozens of afterimages surrounding them.
"Ivar’s Twin Axe of Murder!"
Ivar and his clones put their arms in an "X" formation. One of the arms was holding an axe while the other wasn’t.
In that moment.
An identical-looking axe also appeared on the other hand. They were now dual-wielding the same hard axes.
With the axes, Ivar and his clones cut through the afterimages, cutting numbers until there were only three of them left.
The two clones went after two afterimages, and Ivar went after the last one. One of them was the real Fang Raon.
The clones cut through two afterimages. There was only one Fang Raon left. Ivar went after him immediately.
"You’re it!"
With a grin on his face, Ivar cut through the last Fang Raon, but even he disappeared like a ghost, just like the others.
"What?!"
"Aurel’s Black Kick!"
Out of nowhere, Fang Raon launched a kick that sliced through the two clones and killed them instantly.
’Where the hell did he come from?’
Ivar wondered.
He’d been using Read all along but couldn’t sense his presence at all, as if he had just popped out of thin air.
"It is about time we end this, Ivar."
Fang Raon said, and then he suddenly spread his arms, like he was trying to spread his wings, and he opened his mouth.
A song started coming out of his mouth. It sounded beautiful. His voice was pleasing to the ear, and it seemed to echo throughout the darkness of the void.
The stream just listened. The chat had gone quiet. They didn’t expect Fang Raon to have such a pleasing singing voice.
’What is he doing?’
Ivar wondered with a frown, but he had a really bad feeling about this and thought that he should try to kill Raon as quickly as possible.
In that moment.
His body started reacting strangely. Tears started falling from the corners of his eyes. He felt lazy out of nowhere.
Like he just wanted to sit down and relax while listening to the beautiful song.
"Aurel’s Silent Death Sonata."
"COUGH!"
Ivar suddenly coughed out blood, and he dropped to his knees, and he was coughing black blood like it was tar.
Black blood gushed out of his nose and eyes.
"You survived that. You’re tough. Well then, I have something else to show you, the Viking King Ivar the Slaughter."
Fang Raon said, and he looked towards the dark sky above, and he pointed his hand towards it, like he was trying to grab something.
"Aurel’s Final Rose Slaughter."
A massive sword appeared in the sky. It looked like the sword that Aurel used during her time alive, but much, much bigger in size.
"Hahahaha... I do not fear death!"
Ivar rose to his feet, still coughing the black blood, and he grabbed his axes hard, like he tried to crush them between his fingers.
The massive sword came crashing down, and Ivar smashed his axes against the blade of the sword.
His muscles strained with every ounce of strength he had left, but the sword was too heavy for him, and it crushed him under its massive weight.
[Winner - Fang Raon!]
"A well-fought fight."
Fang Raon said.
In that moment, he disappeared from the platform world and appeared back in the small room with the screen and the chair.
[NEW RANK ACHIEVED!]
[Rank: 90]
Meanwhile, his chat was going wild.
[LadyBelle: Amazing!]
[JohnsonLaw: That was a sick fight!]
There were also some chatters that he didn’t know before, and he noticed that his view count had indeed gone up.
[Viewers: 9]
[RomanNumbers: Who is this guy?!]
[SkyF1: I came here after seeing the video of him in KickTok, but he is much better than I expected!]
[Uruquay: I think I also recognized his opponent. That Ragnar fellow is popular as well. He is a member of the Axe Legion!]
[LadyBelle: Axe Legion?! Haven’t they gotten popular in the past year for their success in killing hackers? Wow!]
[Uruquay: Yes. Their Global Guild Ranking is still low, but they’re making a rapid rise, thanks to their skill in combat]
Fang Raon looked at the messages.
He didn’t expect Ragnar to have joined a guild, but it also wasn’t a surprise, as he most likely joined a group of people similar to him.
The wood-chopping enjoyers.
"Hello, chat. I think I’ll need to take a pause from the Ranked, as I lost my weapon. I need to find a better, higher-tier sword from somewhere.
"That won’t break so easily!"
Fang Raon said.
[LadyBelle: Your rank might drop. Everyone is playing it right now, and you don’t have time to waste!]
"Yeah, I know that, Belle, but I don’t really have a choice. I am weaker without a sword, and if I go against someone higher-ranked, I will be in tons of trouble."
’I also noticed that Ragnar’s surname was Hellstrom. Is he related to Sadie Hellstorm perhaps? Well, the surname is not exactly the same.’
Fang Raon thought.
He then touched the screen and pressed a button that would take him back to the 6th floor.
After a moment, he arrived back at the Ranked building, which was packed like sardines in a can, and it was hard to move.
Eventually, he pushed his way out of the building.
"There is potential about just purchasing a weapon, but it’s so expensive. I could visit the 17th floor, but is there a weapon of high quality anywhere there?"
Fang Raon asked of his chat.
He really didn’t want to purchase a weapon, as he wanted to save some of his money just in case for rent and such.
[Uruquay: You could always Player Kill and steal a weapon]
A suggestion appeared on his chat. It wasn’t something that he thought about doing before. But it was an option.
’Player Kill...’
