Devon looked at the two of them. A frown etched on his face. It was like he wasn’t expecting this outcome.

Xiao Yue’s words were like a siren’s song. It was nearly impossible to resist.

"Haha... Your words are poison."

Devon grinned and pointed his hand towards Xiao Yue, and she quickly unfurled her wings from her back and put them in front of her.

She was expecting him to do another one of his magic spells!

"There are three Pillars of Powers that you mortals have zero awareness about. Let me enlighten you about what those are."

Devon said.

’The three Pillars of Power.’

Fang Raon’s heart skipped a beat.

He felt nervous but also extremely curious about what they might be, and he put all his effort into focusing on Devon’s words.

It might be his only chance to learn the final Pillars of Powers!

"Void."

Devon said, his voice barely a whisper, and the air around them seemed to grow colder for just a split second.

A few seconds passed.

It didn’t seem like anything happened.

’Void? Why does it feel like nothing happened?’

Fang Raon frowned.

Fang Raon reeled back his fist and punched forward, and his fist smashed through something invisible.

Void spell got completely destroyed by the Maxima fist, and his Blackest Blade still remained!

"Your Void power is not omniscient. Maxima can destroy anything. It can even destroy Void!"

Fang Raon shouted.

In an instant, he remembered Maxima and its ability to literally destroy everything, even that of Void.

Each Pillar of Power acted as a countermeasure against other Pillars of Power, preventing one power from becoming all-powerful.

Devon said coldly.

In that moment, he sensed something moving behind him, and as he turned around, he saw Xiao Yue heading his way!

Since she couldn’t speak, she had to use her magic and physical prowess instead, which she was more than fine with!

Devon shouted, and out of nowhere, Xiao Yue got stuck in air, unable to move, like she was frozen in time.

"Anchor, another Pillar of Power, allows the user to trap something in place. You cannot move as long as I want."

Devon said with a smirk.

In that moment, Fang Raon used Godspeed to run straight for the anchored Xiao Yue and grabbed her from her arm.

"Maxima!"

With Maxima, he ripped her out of the anchored state!

Xiao Yue looked at him with a grateful look and would’ve said, "thank you," if only she could speak.

However.

Unfortunately, Devon voided her ability to speak before she could use Maxima to stop the attack, and now it was too late to use it.

"Void’s effects shouldn’t last long, Yue. I am sure you will get your ability of speech back soon enough."

Fang Raon reassured her.

She nodded, but right now, she really didn’t care about whether she could speak or not, as the only thing on her mind was killing Devon.

"Bring it on."

Devon said coldly.

Without further ado, Xiao Yue and Fang Raon attacked him with all they got—her dark magic spells shot forward.

With the green shield, he blocked Fang Raon’s sword, and with the green greatsword, he deflected Xiao Yue’s dark magic blast!

’Void, Anchor, and Forge—the last Pillars of Powers—they’re incredibly powerful, but I wonder why they’ve been only discovered by the Necro Region!’

Fang Raon and Xiao Yue continued attacking him, but Devon was skillful with the shield and greensword.

Xiao Yue let out a soft sound, and she looked relieved, as her voice finally came back as Void’s effects finally ended.

She was feeling very cold whenever Void was still in effect, but after she collided with the wall, her warmth returned back to her.

Therefore, she had a feeling that the Void finally ended.

"Void lasts for about two minutes!"

Xiao Yue shouted.

’Two minutes... I don’t think it is the Void that we need to be scared about. I need to know how he just phased through my Maxima attack.’

Fang Raon thought.

’He is currently on his skeleton transformation, so it has to do something with that. Is that skeleton stuff his legacy? It might be.

Out of nowhere, he pointed his hand towards Fang Raon and used his Void immediately against him!

Fang Raon punched through the spell with his eyes shaking, and he had a hunch about what Devon attempted to do.

’I think he is trying to erase my ability to use Maxima.’

In a split second before Devon launched his attack, he quickly ’Read’ Devon’s intentions, even though he was trying to hide them.

Fang Raon was lucky that his level of Read was higher than Devon’s!

He was able to Read that Devon was trying to erase his Maxima, so he was completely under his mercy.

FLAP~! FLAP~! FLAP~!

At that moment, the wings flapped as Xiao Yue burst forward and launched a straightforward kicking attack at Devon.

"Magic Circle!"

Devon’s green magic circles moved like discs through the air, cutting through the air particles and blocking all the attacks thrown at him.

In that moment, Devon started panting quite heavily as he tried to defend against the onslaught of his two enemies.

His mana was running out.

Fang Raon cried out.

This was the moment that they had been waiting for. It was all for his moment. They’ve been trying to exhaust his mana reserves!

In that moment, Yue’s punch got through Devon’s defenses and landed straight into his nose with a bone-crunching impact!

Devon was sent flying back, and he crashed into a wall, and the dust cloud swept through the cave.
