"Whoah..."

Fang Raon, Chaewon, and Della stood at the doorsteps of the bedroom and stared at the three new shiny Virtual Reality Pods.

They were black in color. Not like the previous white versions. They also looked more high-tech and expensive.

"I now have to head off to work, but I can’t wait to try these out. I can’t believe they just gave these out."

Chaewon said with a smile, and then she kissed Raon on the cheek and left the apartment for work.

"Should we try them out?"

Della asked with a smile on her face.

Fang Raon looked behind towards another Virtual Reality Pod that was lying in the living room alone.

It was Della’s former Virtual Reality Pod, and she planned to sell it, as it was still in very good condition.

"I don’t think we can use these Virtual Reality Pods yet. I called a technician to come and check them out before we use them."

Fang Raon said.

"...Why?"

Della tilted her head in question.

He looked at her and couldn’t possibly say that he feared that Izan might’ve installed another virus in these machines.

He just couldn’t risk his and their lives in a blind trust, so he called an experienced technician over to check these machines over.

To make sure that they were virus-free.

"Black Online Company suggested that I do so to make sure that they’re installed properly."

Fang Raon said.

"Oh... Okay then."

Della smiled, kissed him on the cheek, and then went to her old Virtual Reality Pod, climbed inside, and entered Black Online.

Fang Raon pulled out his phone, and he had received a message from the technician that he was waiting outside.

He walked to the door and opened it.

"H-hey..."

A glasses-wearing young man greeted him. He had a bowl-cut hair with dimples on the face, and he looked really nervous.

Even with glasses on, he kept squinting as if he couldn’t see properly around, and he kept scratching behind his ear.

"Hello, you’re the technician?"

Fang Raon asked.

"Y-yeah... M-My name is... Min-Soo."

"Come in then, Min-Soo."

Fang Raon opened the door wide for him, and the nervous-looking young man stepped inside and looked around the foreign apartment.

It didn’t feel like Min-Soo was good with people.

’He is very young. Can he really handle this job?’

Fang Raon wondered.

It didn’t really give him a lot of confidence to put his life in the hands of this young man.

What if he couldn’t find out if there really was a virus inside these machines? This was a new version of the Virtual Reality Pod after all.

Only the engineers over at Black Online Company would know for sure, but he hoped that Virtual Reality Pod X wasn’t all that different from its predecessor.

"W-w-where?"

Min-Soo asked.

"Over there."

Fang Raon pointed towards the bedroom, and as soon as Min-Soo walked over there, his eyes rounded up in a shock behind the glasses.

"W-w-what are these?"

He ran over to the Virtual Reality Pods and looked at them in shock, as he could tell that they were different.

"C-could these be the new-gen Virtual Reality Pods?!"

Min-Soo asked with excitement.

"Oh, you know about them?"

Fang Raon asked.

"Y-yeah... W-we’ve been informed about the new-gen of Virtual Reality Pods coming to market soon...

"We, the Virtual Reality Pod technicians... need to always be aware whenever new versions come out so we can fix the problems with them...

"I’ve heard that... the new-gen is the most revolutionary pod ever created... How do you have this?"

Min-Soo asked.

"Black Online Company sent it to me as a gift. I just need you to check out that everything is in order, and I mean everything.

"That it is installed properly, and there is no malware inside the system."

Fang Raon said.

"M-Malware? T-There is never malware inside these machines... These machines are really safe and protected!"

Min-Soo said.

"I am a very cautious man, Min-Soo. I want to know that it’s entirely safe before I use it, and I don’t want you to do this half-heartedly, is that understood?"

Fang Raon said.

"O-oh... o-okay..."

Min-Soo nodded repeatedly, and then he took out his toolbox and opened the panel of the Virtual Reality Pod X.

It became immediately clear that this Virtual Reality Pod X was way more advanced than the predecessor.

"I-It’s beautiful... It’s way more technically advanced... Black Online Company never ceases to amaze me..."

Min-Soo smiled.

"Will it be a problem?"

Fang Raon asked.

"No... I got this..."

Min-Soo nudged his glasses and got to work.

’It does look like Virtual Reality Pod X is even more advanced than mine. It’s a better version. It’s good that I requested one for myself.

Min-Soo was a really quick worker. One would think that he was just doing it sloppily, but Fang Raon could tell that he was an expert at what he was doing.

"Have you ever played Black Online, Min-Soo?"

"N-no... I-I don’t think that game suits me that well... I love building stuff... I have even built my own Virtual Reality Pod, but it’s not quite perfect..."

Min-Soo said shyly.

Fang Raon asked.

Min-Soo said.

Fang Raon let out a long sigh.

Still, he planned to try Virtual Reality Pod X before Chaewon or Della so that if there really was a hidden virus, only he would die and not the women he loved.
