Blessed By A Yandere Goddess
Chapter 96: [Special Objective: Return to Tartarus-B]"Anna!"
Sarael launched herself at Anastasia the moment they entered the kitchen.
"Sarael—!"
Anastasia barely had time to brace before they both tumbled to the floor, Sarael clinging to her with the kind of enthusiasm she usually reserved for Ronan. Anastasia caught herself on her elbows, blinking up at the goddess now sprawled across her.
"I take it the night went... well?"
"More than well."
Sarael pushed herself up, still beaming as she brushed off her clothes. Anastasia scrambled to her feet a moment later, her mind already racing through the implications of that smile, the way Sarael moved with a slight wince, the collar still visible above her sweater.
The wince was subtle. Most people wouldn’t have noticed it. But Anastasia had spent months training under Ronan, and she’d learned to read body language the way hunters read monster tracks.
That slight hesitation in Sarael’s step, the way she shifted her weight just a little more carefully than usual, the faintest ghost of discomfort flickering across her expression when she moved too quickly it all told a story.
A story Anastasia very much did not want to picture but couldn’t stop herself from piecing together anyway.
The man and woman standing in her kitchen had definitely done the most unholy things imaginable just upstairs. In her father’s mansion. While she’d been sleeping.
She wasn’t sure how to look at either of them.
"A-Anyway."
She turned away, her cheeks flushing pink.
"Father went out for a while. Can you wake up Tristan and Yeula for breakfast?"
She aimed the question at Ronan, but her eyes carried a hidden message.
’Take as long as possible.’
She wanted time to interview Sarael about the details.
After all, an insane goddess and an equally insane man, that was information even the weirdest corners of the internet wouldn’t have. And even for Anastasia, who wasn’t particularly inclined toward those kinds of things, sheer curiosity alone was killing her.
"John told you about them already?"
"Enough to make sure I’m not in the dark."
Ronan raised a brow but didn’t argue. He glanced at Sarael, who was already settling into a chair with the satisfied air of a cat who’d gotten pampered well, then back at Anastasia’s burning face.
"Sure. I’ll go wake them."
The moment he was out of earshot, Anastasia spun toward Sarael.
"Tell me everything."

Ronan found Tristan and Yeula exactly where he’d left them, passed out in the guest room. The door was still ajar from when Sarael had crept in during the night to move their belongings, and neither of them had stirred since.
Tristan was sprawled across the bed with one arm flung over his face, still in his clothes from last night. Yeula had claimed the armchair near the window, a blanket draped haphazardly over her legs.
"Breakfast."
Ronan struck his knuckles against the doorframe.
Yeula jerked awake first, her hand flying to where her spear usually rested. When her fingers closed on empty air, she blinked rapidly and took in the unfamiliar room and Ronan standing in the doorway with his arms crossed.
"Right... John Neumann’s mansion."
She rubbed her eyes with the heel of her palm.
"Why couldn’t last night have just been a bad dream...!"
Tristan groaned and rolled over, squinting against the light.
"What time is it?"
"Late enough that John’s already gone out. Anastasia’s making breakfast."
"Anastasia?"
Tristan sat up, his hair sticking up in three different directions.
"John’s daughter, right?"
"The one and only."
Tristan wasn’t sure how to take Ronan’s answer. He said it so casually, absurdly casually, given that Ronan clearly had some connection to hunter society.
He hadn’t expected him to be close enough to the legendary John Neumann to have them sheltered in his mansion without even a complaint.
"What’s your relation with them?"
"Grandson and Anastasia’s tutor."
Ronan didn’t even bother lying.
"You’re just saying it outright?" Yeula asked.
"Sarael’s got you two on a leash; I don’t think I should be worried."
Ronan gave a smug grin. The more confident he was, the more effective Sarael’s threat would be. And with Sarael’s seemingly newfound ability, there was a real possibility that she could actually make good on it.
Better yet, Ronan was far more powerful now as well.

Back in the dining room, Sarael had finished her recounting of the previous night’s events. Anastasia was now sitting very still at the table, her face the color of a ripe tomato, both hands pressed flat against the wood like she was trying to ground herself in reality.
"The collar," she managed. "You actually wore the collar."
"I’m still wearing it."
Sarael tugged down the collar of her sweater just enough to show the black leather band still fitted snugly around her throat.
She didn’t bother wearing her dress today, deciding that something more casual would be more fitting for a while after everything they’d done.
"He pulled the leash. Multiple times. It was incredible."
"I didn’t need to know that part."
"You asked for everything."
"I thought you’d leave out the... specifics."
"There’s no point in leaving out the specifics. The specifics were the best part."
Anastasia buried her face in her hands. Then peeked through her fingers at the goddess sitting across from her. Sarael looked utterly serene, her hands wrapped around a cup of tea, her expression one of deep contentment.
The collar was still visible above her sweater. The bite mark Ronan had given her months ago sat just above it, a permanent reminder of who she belonged to.
"You’re really happy, aren’t you?"
Anastasia asked, lowering her hands.
"Like, genuinely happy. Not just obsessed."
Sarael considered the question with more seriousness than she’d given anything else that morning. Her fingers traced the edge of her teacup.
"Yes."
