Blood Primordial: Start With S-Rank Blood Dragon Bloodline
Chapter 51: Max’s CounterattacksMax was also in a similar situation, as he also wasn’t able to see or feel others’ presence. He was surprised by the power of this Ash veil. It seemed the four bloodline awakeners weren’t weak and had strong bloodlines.
With their help, he might really have a chance to take care of this witch.
While they were confused, the four blood awakeners from the Ashcrest family seemed to be calmly looking at them. They seemed to be able to see clearly in this ashy smoke, which a spiritual awakener cannot see through.
"What do you say, brother? What should we do?" One of the four, the youngest-looking man who appeared to be around twenty, asked the oldest.
The oldest was a middle-aged man with a calm and veteran-like aura.
"That woman should be a spiritual awakener, as her aura is quite different from a bloodline awakener. And there shouldn’t be any spiritual awakener within the city, which is already a problem."
His expression became solemn. "So, regardless of whether this young man’s accusations are true, we need to capture her."
A hint of excitement appeared in his eyes.
"And once again, we can demonstrate the power of the Ashcrest Family’s bloodline following the steps of our ancestors."
Hearing these other three bloodline awakeners’ eyes also showed a glint of excitement, as they also wanted to defeat the mysterious spiritual awakeners with their C-rank bloodline, creating a miracle.
They had decided to attack, so there was no need to hold back. All of them immediately concentrated their minds on her. They needed to be careful, although they were four of them together, but their opponent was a spiritual awakener with unknown mysterious power.
They immediately attacked with their combined might. And used their special move together to get the best result.
The Ash Veil, with their combined power, created a hundred metres of veils of ash smoke, becoming the perfect ground for them.
"Burning Ash!"
They all concentrated their power to create a single move to get the best result.
Ssshh!
Ssshh!
The ash floating in the air seemed to suddenly started to become hot, and a hint of flames seemed to suddenly appear within it.
The temperature within the entire area rapidly increased.
Max immediately felt the change.
Even though he wasn’t the target, he could clearly feel the temperature rising around him.
She also felt the temperature rise, and her expression changed. Quickly, the gloves in her hand once again glowed, and immediately the circular transparent blue barrier covered her.
Boom!
A massive explosion took place as the ash around her, like gunpowder, exploded, engulfing her in bright flames.
The power of the explosion was terrifying as the four of them put more than half of their energy into this attack. They knew they might not get many chances, so they wanted to give their all.
The flames burned as a small golden sun, and the surrounding streets shook violently. Nearby buildings and shops trembled under the tremendous force.
The combined destructive power of the four Bloodline Awakeners had surpassed what a normal Bloodline Awakener could unleash alone.
The four Ashcrest warriors stared intensely at the centre of the explosion. They waited to see whether their attack had succeeded.
The flames slowly disappeared, and slowly the figure became clear; she was still floating, but her expression wasn’t calm.
The transparent barrier around her was mostly gone and had numerous small burnt marks, but it seemed that the barrier protected her from damage.
Seeing this expression of the four changed as they combined their strength and gave their best, yet she seemed to be alright. They couldn’t believe she survived that. ’Could spiritual awakeners really be that terrifying?’
The Ash veil seemed to have also somewhat weakened and slowly started to disappear. She, with killing intent, seemed to look in the direction of the four, who seemed to feel chills like they were marked by some kind of horror.
Fear appeared in their eyes, and they instinctively wanted to retreat.
But at that moment, a figure suddenly emerged from the dissipating ash behind the woman.
It was Max.
He had used the Ash Veil as cover and silently approached her from behind. The woman sensed him immediately.
However, she was too late. Max was already right beside her.
Because the Ash Veil surrounding her had severely suppressed her spiritual sense, she hadn’t been able to detect Max approaching until he was already within striking distance.
"Take this, you bitch!" Max, without any hesitation, punched her face with all his strength. There wasn’t any holding back; he wanted to end this cat-and-mouse immediately.
Boom!
Max’s fist was like a gigantic hammer that could shatter a strong tree trunk, slamming into her face, sending her flying and collapsing on the second floor of the house nearby.
"Tch!" His expression wasn’t as excited as at the last moment when he was about to slam his fist on her cheeks; he felt something like an invisible wall that lessened his punch’s impact.
Max’s expression became cold.
He wasn’t going to give her even the slightest chance to recover.
He jumped forward like a falling titan and quickly climbed onto the second floor of the building where he had sent her flying.
He intended to keep pummeling her without giving her any time to adjust.
He wasn’t stupid enough to give enough time to allow an unknown Spiritual Awakener to make her move.
On the other hand, she was shocked, as although she was able to lessen the impact, it still sent her flying. She was bleeding heavily from her head, and it became even more difficult for her to open her eyes.
She needed to gather her strength and activate some mysterious power.
A strange energy began to circulate through her body, rapidly healing her injuries.
But before she could recover, Max appeared directly in front of her and didn’t give her even a second to react.
He leapt forward and kicked her with tremendous force.
Boom!
She barely used her telekinetic powers again to lessen the impact, but this wasn’t enough. Her body slammed into the wall, causing several more bones to crack. Her injuries became more severe as Max gave her no time.
Yet Max didn’t stop.
He continued attacking relentlessly, giving her no opportunity to retaliate or recover.
"Damm, you! You’re really going all out." She roared even though she was injured very badly and seemed barely alive, but Max didn’t stop.
Seeing this, she knew she could not hesitate. "You force me!"
And she screamed, and suddenly a mysterious power seemed to erupt from her. The moment that power appeared—
Max abruptly stopped in his tracks.
