Bound to the eldritch Sea: SSS-Tier Navigator

Chapter 149: I Can’t Afford to Keep You

Chapter 149: Chapter 149: I Can’t Afford to Keep You

Next, Kevin summoned the Eldritch Entities in the surrounding waters to help recover the corpses and loot. At the same time, he began checking his status panel.

After farming monsters for so many days, Kevin had absorbed a large amount of "Judgment Power".

After taking a close look, he found that his Strength, Agility, Spirit, and Perception had each increased by one or two points.

Compared with the nearly one hundred thousand Eldritch Entities Kevin had killed, these increases were tiny. However, their greatest advantage was that they could continue to grow over time.

Especially after killing nearly ten thousand Elite-level Eldritch crabs in one go, Kevin could clearly feel that his "Judgment Power" had increased by a large amount.

It was obvious that both the number and the quality of the Eldritch Entities he killed mattered.

Since the "Daddy" Cannon" was still on its way, the recovery operation led by Kevin and carried out by the Eldritch Entities lasted for more than two hours.

By the time the "Daddy" Cannon" arrived and joined them, the sky had already grown completely dark.

This time, while clearing out the evil god’s spawn, they collected more than fifty pieces of B-Tier loot and over a hundred pieces of C-Tier loot.

Compared with randomly farming monsters on the surface of the sea, the rewards were far greater.

The giant spider crab had also dropped an A-Tier item.

Kevin spread all the loot across the deck of the "Daddy" Cannon". His companions quickly gathered around, their eyes shining with excitement.

Celula patted Raphael on the shoulder and said excitedly, "This haul is worth more than everything we usually get in a whole day."

Raphael nodded. "That’s true. Some of these B-Tier items are useful to all of us. We can’t just sell them off carelessly."

The girls began choosing items for themselves.

As Kevin watched them select the loot with perfect understanding, he turned and looked at Bruce Lee.

Bruce Lee was standing in the corner, staring at them with envy.

Seeing this, Kevin shrugged and called him over.

"Don’t just stand there. Come over and take whatever you need."

Bruce Lee froze for a moment. Pointing at himself, he asked in surprise, "I can take a share of the loot too?"

"Of course. You helped us," Kevin said.

He grabbed Bruce Lee by the sleeve and led him to the pile of loot on the deck.

"That giant spider crab dropped one A-Tier item and two B-Tier items. You can take at least half of them. Based on prices in the Eldritch market, one A-Tier item is worth nine B-Tier items. So you can choose loot worth five B-Tier items."

Kevin divided the loot fairly and patiently.

"Of course, I’m not giving you any of the loot dropped by the Eldritch crabs. You didn’t help fight them, so I assume you don’t mind."

Bruce Lee’s eyes widened, and he quickly waved his hands.

"I don’t mind! Not at all. I’m already getting a great deal."

Afraid that Kevin might change his mind, he quickly crouched down and began carefully choosing his items.

Kevin watched the kinds of loot Bruce Lee picked.

It was obvious that Bruce Lee was not choosing everything for himself. He was also thinking about his crew.

Of the five B-Tier items he selected, three were things Bruce Lee could not use.

Kevin did not interfere.

After they finished collecting the loot, delicious smells began to drift out from inside the ship.

Kevin invited Bruce Lee to join them for dinner, and the crew spent a relaxed and enjoyable evening together.

At dawn the next day, Bruce Lee eagerly pulled Kevin along and insisted that they go out on patrol.

He clearly understood that challenging the evil god’s spawn in their own lairs came with rich rewards.

More importantly, he could help Kevin fight the bosses.

Otherwise, he would have felt embarrassed taking a share of the loot from the Eldritch Entities that Kevin and his companions had slaughtered with the power of the evil god.

Bruce Lee stayed with the "Daddy" Cannon" for five days.

During that time, he and Kevin discovered two brand-new lairs belonging to the evil god’s spawn.

To Kevin’s surprise, one of the lairs was beneath the sea, while the other was in the sky.

If Bruce Lee had not been with him, Kevin probably would never have found their lairs.

In the end, Kevin captured the Eldritch electric eels’ lair by using three thousand unmanned submarines to launch a massive bombardment from underwater.

As for the Eldritch crows’ lair in the sky, Kevin surrounded it with more than ten thousand drones. After the attack, feathers filled the sky.

Kevin and Bruce Lee worked together more smoothly with each passing day, and Kevin became more generous toward him.

In the end, Bruce Lee received more than a dozen B-Tier items and over twenty C-Tier items from Kevin.

After adding everything up, Bruce Lee realized that these rewards were worth more than everything he had collected over the past month.

Another morning arrived.

After breakfast, Bruce Lee took the initiative to invite Stephanie onto the deck to enjoy the view.

As usual, he held out his hand to Stephanie and asked for his vitamins.

"Give me two pills!"

Stephanie nervously handed him two pills and watched as he swallowed them.

Seeing how tense she looked, Bruce Lee smiled.

"You’re not really that stingy, are you?"

Stephanie shook her head without explaining.

Over the past few days, Bruce Lee had roughly figured out Stephanie’s situation on the "Daddy" Cannon".

It seemed that everyone on the ship was isolating the girl.

Feeling sorry for her, Bruce Lee took the initiative to ask Kevin if he could take Stephanie away.

Kevin had no objection. As long as Stephanie agreed, Bruce Lee could take her with him.

However, Stephanie refused every time. Compared with leaving with Bruce Lee, she preferred to stay on the "Daddy" Cannon".

The reason was simple.

Stephanie often helped the crew with various small chores on the "Daddy" Cannon". From time to time, the girls gave her C-Tier items as thanks.

To put it bluntly, Stephanie only had to clean the ship and do a few odd jobs each day, yet she could receive seven or eight C-Tier items as tips.

There was no way she could receive such treatment on any other ship.

After realizing this, Bruce Lee awkwardly scratched his head.

"So it’s not that you don’t want to leave. It’s that we can’t afford to keep you."

Stephanie chuckled. "Let’s just be friends from now on. You’re a good person."

Bruce Lee sighed and turned to say goodbye to Kevin and the others.

"You’re not going to stay a little longer?" Kevin asked with a smile, patting Bruce Lee on the shoulder.

"No. The storm will arrive in a week, and I need to get back to my companions. They won’t survive without me." Bruce Lee looked reluctant to leave.

Kevin rolled his eyes. "Don’t you know that your companions have already formed a huge fleet alliance?"

Bruce Lee scratched his head awkwardly when he heard this.

"They’re the ones handling those things. I don’t deal with that kind of work."

Kevin rolled his eyes at him. "I’m really jealous that you have such reliable subordinates. That alliance already has nearly a hundred teams. It can definitely rank among the top four forces in the First Sea Area."

The more Kevin praised him, the more embarrassed Bruce Lee became.

In his eyes, the size of the fleet did not matter much. Strength was the only thing that truly mattered.

If he had not been tied to his companions, he would have wanted to stay on Kevin’s ship and never leave.

In the end, Bruce Lee looked back several times as he waved goodbye to Kevin and the others. Then he stepped onto his flying sword and flew toward his companions.

Meanwhile, at the center of the archipelago where Justin was staying, the Spider Crab Queen, the Raven King, and the Electric Eel King were carving a Teleportation magic array.

After using their own blood to complete the final line of the array, the blood-red magic circle began to glow.

A terrifying will suddenly descended.

The voice of the evil god Soros rang out above them:

"The horn of assembly has sounded. I order you to select all Elite-level and higher combat units from your races. Assist my agent in killing the sinners who have blasphemed the gods."

The Spider Crab Queen bowed first and lowered her head respectfully.

"I will obey the will of the gods."

The Raven King and the Electric Eel King immediately knelt and bowed in worship.

Then, a crack appeared in the center of each of the three magic arrays.

The cracks quickly widened and soon stabilized, forming three permanent Teleportation gates.

The Spider Crab Queen stood up first. She sent out a mental signal through the Teleportation gate and began calling for her people.

However, the gate remained completely silent as the seconds passed.

The Spider Crab Queen frowned deeply.

"That’s strange. My people should have received my summons by now. Why haven’t they come?"

The Raven King and the Electric Eel King stood behind her and sneered.

"What a foolish woman. Under your rule, your entire race is nothing but a scattered mess. Let us show you how united and efficient our races are."

The two Kings of the Eldritch spoke at the same time and sent summoning commands through their own Teleportation gates.

However, their summons disappeared without a response, like stones sinking into the sea.

Two full minutes passed. Cold sweat quickly formed on the foreheads of the three Kings of the Eldritch.

Then, the voice of the evil god Soros rang out above them once again.

"Why have you still not summoned your races?"

Trembling all over, the Spider Crab Queen raised her head and explained, "Something must have gone wrong. Great evil god, I request permission to forcefully Teleport my people here."

The Raven King and the Electric Eel King also bowed respectfully.

"We also request permission to forcefully Teleport our people here, great evil god."

The three of them fell silent.

The voice of the evil god Soros remained silent for a full three minutes before speaking again.

"As you wish."

As soon as he finished speaking, the three Teleportation arrays began to swirl.

A terrifying force of suction came from the gates, twisting the air around them.

Then, the three Teleportation gates suddenly expanded.

Large amounts of blood, along with organs and body parts, began pouring out of the gates.

Mixed among them were the corpses of Eldritch crabs, Eldritch electric eels, and Eldritch crows.

Kevin and the others had already taken the important organs and useful body parts. Almost everything left behind was made up of broken limbs, unimportant organs, and scraps of flesh.
