The sound of muffled groans of someone struggling filled the air. The crowd parted to let the cheetah warriors who had gone on Ming Tao’s command walk between them with a third person in their midst.
Straddled between them in their hands was Mu Yang and he did not like being dragged. The moment the cheetah warriors reached the presence of their king, they bowed and forced Mu Yang to bow along with them. Then they stood up right.
Ming Tao had a condescending look on his face as he beheld Mu Yang in his sight. He hated that fox with every fibre in his body and the reason was not a secret. To add to it, when Hye Yang had hypnotised Ming Tao, Ming Tao witnessed Mu Yang on top of his wife. The bastard forced himself on his Mira and now that Ming Tao thought about it, he did not know why he forgot to have this fox beheaded.
Any man who was an accomplice of Hye Yang’s schemes should die a cruel death and it would please him so to speak watch Mu Yang die.
Mira’s fingers clenched around Ming Tao’s arm. "Honey, you have been staring at him for a while now." Mira said in a low voice into his skin. Ming Tao took a deep breath then let out an exhale. He eased his face of the rigidity and relaxed his tensed body.
"Unhand him." Ming Tao ordered. Immediately after he said this, the cheetah warriors let go of Mu Yang by pushing his body forward. Mu Yang nearly hit the ground but regained his composure mid air. He straightened his attire and used his fingers to brush his hair back to its original shape. He had an annoyed expression on his face.
"You people dare to rough handle me like that?" Mu Yang proclaimed. He huffed like the annoyed, obviously not the first born son that he was. After Mu Yang had thrown his childish tantrum and adjusted himself, his eyes laced around the beast people before him.
A crease formed on his eyebrows as he studied everyone and every single thing present. First, he caught sight of the seats. Then the mixture of beast people. Then the shaman and Hye Yang, bleeding and knelt down before the shaman before his eyes landed on Ming Tao and Mira.
My Yang immediately grasped the situation and beamed. "Whatever she told you about me, I did not do it. She lied." Mu Yang said flatly.
Mira almost laughed at his words. The man did not even last one minute before he rejected Hye Yang. Those two were indeed perfect for each other, Mira thought.
A hand came clashing behind Mu Yang’s head. The force of it sent him to his knees.
"You do not speak unless you are spoken to and ordered to by the Mighty Cheetah." The cheetah warriors who smacked Mu Yang said. He was one of the cheetah warriors that went to fetch him on Ming Tao’s command. Mu Yang swallowed, he bowed his head before Ming Tao, waiting for Ming Tao to say a word.
"Rise." Ming Tao finally said. It was taking all Ming Tao had in him to stop him from ripping Mu Yang’s throat in half. Mu Yang stood on his feet and straighten his attire again.
"Thank you, Ming-" he started, Mu Yang paused when he noticed the shift of the cheetah warriors bodies behind him. "Mighty Cheetah." He rephrased immediately. The cheetah warriors relaxed and Mu Yang let out a sigh of relief.
Ming Tao did not say a word to him for a short while before parting his lips to speak. "Tell us what you know about Hye Yang’s crimes and of your involvement in it." Ming Tao uttered, his words carried the authority and seriousness of a man that meant business and Mira could not help but feel a heart beat in her pussy.
Damn, my husband is hot when he’s serious! Mira said to herself in her mind, her serious gaze immediately drifted to adoration as her eyes rested only on Ming Tao.
[ Worst time to be horny, host. Your name is not even cleared yet. ] System chimed.
The end of Mira’s lips curled into a subtle smile. Every time is the best time to be horny when I have a husband as hot as this, Mira said to system.
[ Oh my days, host is so doomed! ] System chimed.
Mira tried so hard not to giggle. She was witnessing the worst trial of that she had seen with her own eyes and this would clear her name yet her mind drifted to something entirely out of the subject in seconds and all it took were the stern words of her husband directed to someone else. She really was a finished woman.
I sure am, Mira responded to system.
"What involvement? I do not know what you are saying." Broke Mira out of her thoughts and fantasy. The moment that man Mu Yang spoke, Mira felt her attraction die. It drained faster than the speed of light and the wetness that pooled between her legs dried up immediately.
This man should not even be allowed to speak, he was a walking killer of hormones, Mira said in her mind. She was so sure that Mu Yang would make a desert sand dryer and desert sand was already as dry as dry could be. It brought her back to the question on what the old Mira saw in that fox because there was nothing about that man that was worth being attracted to.
Mira eyes Mu Yang from head to toe, if she could imagine her facial expression right now, she could see the look Yelena gave to Armin.
Ming Tao bursted out laughing. This pulled Mira out of the horridness she just faced. She stared at Ming Tao, perplexion written all over her face.
"You either speak the truth or die. We have already seen and heard enough to know you’re involved with Hye Yang and her evil schemes so now, I give you a second chance to redeem yourself. What is your link to this woman right here and what is your involvement in her schemes, foolish boy?" Ming Tao spoke.
Mira blinked. She could hear the mockery and distaste that Ming Tao had for Mu Yang in Ming Tao’s voice and part of her knew that Ming Tao wanted Mu Yang to not say the truth so that he could find an excuse to punish him.
Well, in that case, Mira was on Ming Tao’s side too. She needed to watch this man suffer. After what he did to her, she wanted both of his ball sacks cut off and fed into how mouth or shoved down his throat but even then, she wanted him alive so maybe something just as intense but not overly intense to kill him will be good enough punishment for Mu Yang.
Mu Yang swallowed. One look at Hye Yang and his surroundings was all he needed to have to know that this was a losing situation for him if he lied. If Hye Yang was going to fall, he would not fall along with her, he had many more years to live and many more women to bask among so this was not his time to be loyal to one fox. The fox in question was bleeding out of her eyes.
"I do not know what she told you, but all I know is that I was called to repay a favour to her. Mira. . ." Mu Yang was immediately slapped at the back of the head when he called Mira’s name. He put his hand at the back of his head where he had been hit. "Hye Yang’s sister. . . ." Another slap landed on the back of his head. This made his brows crease. "Daughter of the fox clan?" He stated. And just like before, another smack landed at the back of his head. He did not know what to call her that would not lead to him being hit, she was all those things he mentioned yet the back of his head suffered.
Mu Yang bowed his head down before Mira. He knew right now that she was way more important than the woman who had chased him all those years that he took for granted and fear began to creep all over him. Mu Yang remembered what he did to Mira on Hye Yang’s request and he regretted it now more than ever.
He cleared his throat. "The wife of the Mighty Cheetah?" He stated. He shut his eyes and waited for a smack but after some seconds passed and nothing happened, he opened his eyes.
"Hye Hang summoned me to lure the wife of the mighty cheetah back to being obsessed with me. I knew of her plans to pay rogues and destroy something she called digging up the ground and filling it with seeds but I had no involvement in it." Mu Yang stated.
Ming Tao took a step forward, leaving Mira behind him. He crossed his hands over his chest and lowered his face to look at Mu Yang. "Would you like to tell us exactly, word for word how you managed to achieve that?" He asked.
Mu Yang swallowed. He knew doom when he saw it and right now, it was staring at him in the face.
