Chapter 188: The God Of DestructionChapter 188: Chapter 188: The God Of Destruction
At the mention of the rebels, Neo let out a barely perceivable smirk before saying,
"Get the army ready. I will not allow them to threaten our existence when they are so close by. If they want freedom that much, I will grant them the honor. But it will be a very painful process."
General Vael swallowed hard in fear before quickly agreeing.
"You are absolutely correct, Your Highness. There is no need to waste time on negotiations or form temporary alliances."
Shortly after, the grand army of the Zenith Empire mobilized. Numbering approximately fifteen million strong, including the newly conquered forces, the massive legion prepared for war.
They boarded the three colossal LORD-class warships and five additional Titan-class vessels, ready to depart.
---
Zenith Vanguard armada advanced toward the Outer territory of Eximious.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Suddenly, the navigational alarms aboard the central flagship buzzed to life, painting the command deck in a pulsating red warning light.
"Elena Report!" Noir demanded.
Elena mechanical eyes quickly did some information Processing with its Hyper computer chip.
"Madam Noir, a massive biological entity appeared ahead. It dropped out of a localized spatial rift, completely blocking the direct trajectory of the fleet."
The main crystal viewport zoomed in on the anomaly, revealing a nightmare born from the deepest, darkest trenches of the unknown cosmos.
KIAAAAAAK!
It was a terrifying colossal beast that bore a striking resemblance to the legendary entity known as Cthulhu, a creature from the ancient, forgotten texts Neo had once read.
The monster possessed a horrific head resembling a squid, and its monstrous form towered a staggering 500 miles in height.
Its leathery wings spanned across the starry background, and thousands of writhing tentacles thrashed angrily, effortlessly crushing nearby stray asteroids into fine dust.
General Vael’s face instantly drained of all color.
"By the Gods! What is that abomination? We need to activate the planetary shields on the Titan vessels immediately, or it will tear us apart!"
Doctor Clark simply laughed out loud, crossing his arms in sheer amusement.
"Calm down, general. It is barely 500 miles tall. Have you forgotten what you are riding in? Our LORD class warships could run that ugly squid over without even scratching the hull paint. It is merely a bug on a windshield."
Zestia nodded in agreement. "Yes. A single volley from the main void cannons would vaporize it instantly. Shall I give the order to fire, Neo?"
Neo looked at Zestia, then answered in negative.
"No. The newly integrated soldiers of Eximious still harbor lingering doubts about the true strength of their emperor. Words and ships are not enough. They need to see exactly who they have sworn their very lives to."
Before anyone could utter a single word of protest, Neo vanished entirely from the throne room, leaving behind a faint ripple in space.
Outside, in the freezing vacuum of the cosmos, a tiny figure manifested directly in the path of the towering octopus monster.
It was Neo.
Compared to the gargantuan beast, he was smaller than a speck of dust, yet his overwhelming Dominator aura forced the monstrous entity to stop its violent rampage.
"KUUUUUUKAAAAA!"
The massive entity let out a horrific psychic roar that violently shook the surrounding space.
It felt deeply insulted by the tiny intruder.
So it swung hundreds of massive mountain shattering tentacles directly at the floating human.
Aboard the fleet, 15 million soldiers watched through the Augmented Reality monitors.
Some looked doubtful, some were in awe by their Emperor bravery.
Neo raised his right hand, and a blinding golden light erupted from his palm, instantly overshadowing the light of the nearby stars.
The cold vacuum of space suddenly became Super heated.
Without giving any grand declaration or speech, he swung his hand downward in a swift merciless arc.
[ Sunfire Judgment Blade ]
Instantly the golden light in his hand transformed into a blazing golden sword.
Buz! Buzz! Buzzz!
Then it expanded rapidly to a size that completely dwarfed even the 500 mile tall monster.
"SCREEEEECH!"
The colossal entity shrieked in psychic agony as the blinding blade sliced seamlessly right through its unfathomable mass.
There was absolutely no resistance.
The divine heat of the attack instantly evaporated the beast’s impenetrable skin, its flesh and its very soul.
Within a single fraction of a second, the towering space leviathan was completely erased, leaving behind nothing but a fading trail of golden embers floating harmlessly in the dark void.
Silence reigned across the entire Vanguard fleet.
General Vael collapsed to his knees, his entire body trembling violently.
"He is no mere Emperor. He is a true God."
Across the massive ships, all the 15 million soldiers of the Zenith army simultaneously slammed their right fists against their chests.
No orders were given by the commanders. It was a spontaneous, overwhelming reaction of sheer reverence and absolute submission.
The deafening, synchronized salute echoed through the metallic hulls of all eight warships.
Neo reappeared seamlessly on his black Iron throne, casually brushing a speck of nonexistent dust from his dark sleeve.
"Continue. The rebels are going to face the same fate as it just did."
The commanders and advisors could only nod in absolute agreement.
However, a new wave of respect for their new ruler quickly washed over the newly integrated ranks.
"Our new Emperor is incredibly strong! Far stronger than Lord Epos ever was."
"Indeed. With absolute power like that, the Outer Rim rebels are walking blindly into their own extinction. Did you see how effortlessly he erased a beast that dwarfed our entire capital? He did not even break a sweat."
" I served Lord Epos for two centuries. I have seen him level entire cities with a single gesture. But this? This is entirely different. That monster’s aura alone was enough to shatter my core. Yet, Emperor Neo treated it like a mere nuisance blocking the road."
"Agreed. Did you feel the heat of that golden blade? Even through the absolute protection of a LORD class, it felt as though our very blood was boiling. If he had aimed that attack at Eximious, our entire world would have been completely vaporized in an instant."
"Thank the Heavens we chose to surrender. We are no longer subjects to a mere stellar king. We are the vanguard of a true God of Destruction."
