Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 206: Father’s True IdentityChapter 206: Chapter 206: Father’s True Identity
Neo and his companions emerged from the spatial warp, looking down upon the magnificent heart of the Zenith Empire. The core world of Zenith was more beautiful than it had ever been.
What was once a chaotic conflict ground, torn apart by endless territorial wars between the native Blue and Red slimes, was now the undisputed, shining imperial stronghold of the entire empire.
At the very center of the sprawling capital, a colossal World Tree rose into the sky in its full glory. It had been grown from the sacred seed Neo received at the Celestial River. Its massive canopy glowed with a vibrant emerald light. The majestic tree acted as a sacred pilgrimage site for citizens seeking longevity and spiritual peace.
More importantly, its divine roots generated an impenetrable, shimmering energy shield that spanned far beyond the planet’s orbit, safekeeping the entire world from cosmic threats.
The protective barrier was absolute. Not even a Type 2 Dominator could break through its defenses. Only beings at the terrifying realm of Demi-Gods might possess a chance of shattering it. But what would Demi-Gods do in such a small, remote cosmic sector? They dealt in a league of their own, fighting for higher dimensional stakes, and their numbers were incredibly few.
Down on the surface, within the serene and sprawling Imperial Garden, Neo’s mother, Amelia Godson, and his little sister, Nina Godson, sat at a white marble table. They were drinking warm floral tea and basking under the gentle morning sun.
Nina smiled brightly, completely happy as she watched the colorful spirit birds fly past the garden fountains.
However, her mother’s face remained clouded with deep worry.
"He should be back soon, Mom," Nina said cheerfully, taking a sip of her sweet tea. "You know how incredibly strong my big brother is."
Amelia sighed softly, setting her porcelain teacup down on the table. It had been several long weeks since Neo departed for Earth and the dangerous territory worlds belonging to Epos. Even though frequent holographic messages kept arriving from her son to confirm his safety, it was never enough to fully quiet her fears.
"I know he is strong, Nina," Amelia replied gently, looking up at the glowing canopy of the World Tree. "But the universe is incredibly vast and full of hidden dangers. I will not stop worrying until he is standing safely right here in this garden."
Just as she spoke those words, a brilliant flash of golden light pierced through the blue sky above the palace, signaling the long-awaited return of the Emperor.
The brilliant golden light cascaded from the heavens, parting the morning clouds like a majestic curtain.
The entire capital city seemed to pause.
The colossal World Tree pulsed with a welcoming emerald hue, its massive leaves rustling in a harmonious, chiming melody that echoed across the planet.
The divine beam touched down at the very center of the Imperial Garden, right before the white marble pavilion where Amelia and Nina sat.
As the blinding light faded, Neo stepped forward. He looked taller and his presence radiated an unfathomable depth of cosmic power, yet his eyes held the exact same warmth they always did for his family.
By his sides were both his lovers, Noir and Zestia, looking powerful and beautiful.
Elena, Clark, the three elven commanders and other elite captains were behind.
Not to forget, the tiny golden pig fluttered playfully around Neo’s shoulder, buzzing like a happy bumblebee.
Seeing them coming, the elite Imperial Guards stationed around the garden perimeter immediately dropped to one knee.
Clang. Clang. Clang.
Their heavy armor clattered in perfect, echoing unison as they bowed their heads low.
"Welcome home, Your Imperial Majesty!" they chanted loudly, their voices filled with immense reverence and undeniable relief.
Nina did not care about the formal military greetings. She knocked over her chair in her haste, sprinting across the soft grass as fast as her legs could carry her.
"Big brother!" she cheered, launching herself forward and throwing her arms around his waist.
Neo chuckled, gently patting her head and returning the warm embrace.
"I am back, Nina. Did you behave yourself while I was gone?" he asked with a wide smile.
Noir and Zestia watched, feeling warm.
Meanwhile, Amelia stood frozen by the table for a second, both of her hands pressed tightly over her heart. Tears of sheer relief welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision.
She walked gracefully toward him, carefully taking in his uninjured state. The suffocating worry that had gripped her chest for weeks instantly dissolved into the crisp morning air.
"You took far too long my son," Amelia whispered as she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.
"I am sorry for making you worry, Mother,"
Neo replied softly, holding her close. He completely retracted his supreme aura so the overwhelming cosmic pressure would not affect them.
"But the journey was absolutely worth it, mother. The Zenith Empire will never have to fear anything ever again. We have secured our future."
The tiny golden pig let out a cheerful squeak and floated down, gently nuzzling against Nina’s cheek.
Nina giggled and reached out to pet the magical creature.
As the morning sun bathed the imperial garden in a brilliant, warm glow, peace settled over the capital.
The Emperor had finally returned home, and he brought an era of absolute supremacy with him.
--
At night, during dinner, he spoke about his father true identity and the gift he left behind.
"Mother, there is something important we need to discuss," Neo said gently.
Amelia looked up from her meal, her expression immediately turning serious.
"What is it, Neo? You have been unusually quiet all evening."
"It is about father," Neo replied.
Amelia froze completely. "Novak? What about him?"
"During my journey, I discovered why he left us. And I discovered who he truly was."
Amelia stared at him in confusion.
"What’s there to discover? He was a good man. But he was just a man. A man who disappeared without a trace."
"No! He was not just a man, Mother. He was a True-God."
"....."
Absolute silence filled the grand room.
"A what?" Nina asked, tilting her head in confusion with a mouthful of roasted vegetables.
"A True-God, Nina. A being of supreme cosmic power. The kind of entity that shapes entire galaxies."
Amelia shook her head in disbelief.
"That is impossible, My son. We lived a completely normal life together. He struggled to pay the bills just like anyone else. He laughed, he got sick, he bled. He was human."
