Chapter 218: Chapter 218: To Destroy

As Neo’s abyssal eyes swept across the Cardinal Ships, a cold terror gripped everyone’s heart.

How did the Zenith Emperor cross so much distance in such a short time?

How come there was no trace of sweat from doing such an impossible task?

Seeing their pathetic faces, Neo smirked evilly.

"No one escapes unscathed after targeting my home. Even if they are some phonies claiming to maintain Galactic Peace. The Anitasloda Galaxy is mine to conquer, and soon, the rest of the universe will be too."

"Devil! You will rot in hell!" High Cardinal Feral shrieked, although his own figure was trembling after sensing Neo’s aura.

Seraph maintained his cool, until he heard Neo’s reply.

"Hell? Haa, You speak of hell as if it is a punishment. But You seem to forget that I am a Demon myself . I am the absolute sovereign of the void. Hell is not a prison for me, Feral. It is simply another territory waiting to be annexed into the Zenith Empire. But you... you will not even get the luxury of an afterlife."

Neo simply raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.

The sound echoed like a thunderclap across the silent bridge of the flagship.

Seraph immediately flared his blinding white aura, attempting to deploy a Divine Aegis to protect his commanders.

But he was too late.

Invisible, pitch black chains of Universal Synthesis erupted straight out of the spatial fabric inside the flagship.

They bypassed every single layer of holy shielding as if the divine barriers did not exist. The dark chains violently wrapped around High Cardinal Feral.

Feral did not even have the time to scream. In front of the entire terrified Inquisitor Armada, the High Cardinal was instantly decomposed. His flesh, his bones, and his divine soul were aggressively broken down into floating particles of rich, raw life essence.

The black chains absorbed the essence and vanished back into the void, feeding the stolen energy directly into Neo’s core across the galaxy.

For the first time since his ancient creation, the blinding light composing Seraph’s physical form violently flickered.

The Arbiter took a physical step backward, his perfect, emotionless composure entirely shattered.

"Y-you bypassed a Type Three celestial barrier without a single incantation. But How? That is conceptually impossible."

"The concepts of your pathetic universe no longer apply to me, Seraph. I just executed one of your highest commanders right in front of your eyes, on your own supreme vessel, and you could do absolutely nothing to stop it. Tell the Watchers to prepare their own graves. The Zenith Vanguard is coming for the Saint Lands."

With a final, mocking laugh, Neo’s physical manifestation dissolved into harmless black ash, leaving the First Inquisitor Armada drifting in absolute, suffocating despair.

---

Back in the physical realm of Zenith Prime, Emperor Neo opened his actual eyes. He sat casually on his towering obsidian throne, lazily resting his chin on his fist.

[ Target Consumed: High Cardinal Feral. ]

[ Saint Core Fragment Absorbed. ]

[ Cosmic Force increased by 100,000. ]

[ Nether Force increased by 100,000. ]

Neo exhaled a breath of dark mist. The meal was small compared to the Solar Saint, but it was incredibly rich in pure holy mana. The Universal Synthesis talent effortlessly broke down the divine energy and converted it into raw, usable power.

Commander Aeliana stepped into the grand throne room.

Clang.!

She immediately dropped to one knee, her head bowed in absolute reverence.

"Speak," Neo commanded softly.

"Ah yes, Your Majesty. The Imperial Network recorded the entire celestial interaction. The citizens watched you effortlessly devour the primary weapon of the heavens and execute one of their highest leaders on their own flagship. The military morale across all one hundred and thirty nine worlds has completely shattered our calculable scales. Recruiting centers are overflowing. Billions of warriors are begging to join the Vanguard."

Neo smirked,

"Good. The Watchers have ruled through fear for millennia. We just proved their divine light is nothing more than a pathetic candle waiting to be snuffed out. But we cannot win a universal conquest by sitting safely behind our shields."

Neo stood up. His oppressive aura flared, casting terrifying shadows across the grand hall.

"Commander Aeliana! Send an imperial decree to Zenos, Theron, Lizi, and all the active World Kings. Tell them the brief era of peaceful development is officially over. They have exactly one standard week to consolidate their planetary defenses and assemble their elite strike fleets."

"We are going on the offensive so soon, Your Majesty?" Aeliana asked, looking up with wide, awe struck eyes.

"The Watchers are arrogant, but they are not entirely stupid. Seraph will retreat, regroup, and attempt to gather a massive, multi sector coalition to crush us. I absolutely refuse to give them the time to prepare."

Neo raised his hand, summoning a massive holographic star map of the Anitasloda Galaxy. He pointed a finger directly at a glowing cluster of pristine stars at the very center.

"We are not going to wait for the heavens to bring the war to our borders again," Neo declared crossing his legs

"Prepare the Vanguard flagships. We are going straight to the Saint Lands of Almoris. I want to see exactly how many of their gods I can consume before their grand pantheon completely collapses."

"Your will is absolute, Emperor! I will broadcast the mobilization decree immediately. The Saint Lands will burn in your glorious name!"

She turned on her heel and marched out of the grand throne room, her mind already racing with apocalyptic logistics.

Within minutes, the Zenith Imperial Network broadcasted the ultimate war command. Across 139 worlds, billions of citizens and soldiers heard their Emperor’s divine mandate. The massive forge worlds, including Theron’s newly claimed planet, instantly shifted into maximum overdrive.

Planetary skies darkened with the thick smoke of rapid starship manufacturing.

Deep within the hidden docking bays of Zenith Prime, the colossal LORD class starships began to power their world engines.

These were not mere warships, they were massive planet killers forged from the crushed remnants of Neo’s past enemies, fully fueled and waiting to devour the holy stars.

.

The Saint Lands.

It was a realm where no demon dared to tread, a land of absolute purity and divine intervention.

Not just a single deity, but multiple gods from the Divine Realm had their sacred statues erected there to maintain their sanctity and faith over the mortal realm.

Among them were the God of Light, Auren; the God of Fire, Ignisius; the God of Air, Aris; and the God of Ocean, Parsis.

All of them were high-level gods capable of bestowing blessings that could change a person’s destiny forever.

However, not everyone had the privilege to receive such gifts. Only a select few, chosen by Divine Will and the cooperation of the High Cardinals, were ever granted such divine favor.

Inside the grand temple of God Aris, atmospheric gale-currents swirled gracefully around towering emerald pillars. Nine high-ranking figures sat around a floating table of solid jade, sipping celestial nectar while discussing the chaos consuming the outer sectors.

Four of them wore the flowing, wind-stitched green ceremonial robes of High Cardinals, while the other five wore glittering golden silk, representing the wealthiest galactic sects from neighboring sectors.

High Cardinal Vael brushed a speck of dust from his green sleeve, letting out a soft, mocking laugh.

"The hysteria spreading across the Universal Network is utterly pathetic. A 21 year-old mortal eating a Type Two Saint? It is nothing more than cheap illusion magic and exaggerated propaganda."

Sect Leader Zhao, wrapped in heavy golden silk embroidered with stellar runes, chimed in with a sneer.

"I agree completely, Cardinal. My Astral Gold Sect brought 5,000 heavy battle-cruisers to the Saint Lands merely as a courtesy. This Neo Godson is nothing but a lowborn barbarian who stumbled upon a volatile ancient artifact. He thinks taking a backwater sector makes him a king."

"Calling himself the Zenith Emperor is the most hilarious part," Lord Vane of the Golden Coalition added, swirling his crystalline cup. "A child playing dress-up in the blood of Viscount Azekin. Real emperors are born from divine bloodlines, not forged in dirt."

High Cardinal Zephyr’s green robes fluttered in the sacred temple breeze.

"The Solar Saint was always an arrogant fool who neglected his defense arrays. He died because of his own carelessness in a lawless zone. But here, within the holy sanctuary of Lord Aris, no mortal trash can even draw breath without our divine permission."

"Seraph and the Watchers are overreacting," Cardinal Lucian said with absolute disdain. "They speak of sector erasures and cosmic pathogens, causing unnecessary panic among the common filth. If this upstart actually dares to bring his fleet of freed slaves to our borders, the sacred gales of Aris will shred his soul into microscopic dust before his ships even cross the outer boundary."

Lady Mirielle, draped in shimmering gold fabrics, smiled maliciously.

"My sect has already pledged thirty billion divine credits to the crusade. We only ask that when the boy is brought to his knees, his Unique Synthesis talent be extracted and handed to our elite devotees," she said.

High Cardinal Vael scoffed,

"Extracted? He does not deserve such mercy. We will hang the Zenith Emperor from the highest gale-spire of this very temple. His blood will nourish our sacred wind-pinnacles, and his pathetic Vanguard will serve as a permanent reminder of what happens when insects attempt to strike the heavens."
