Gregor, still lying flat on his back on another pile of treasure, turned his head weakly to look at her before letting out a tired groan.

"Mina, if you stuff any more coins into your clothes, you’re going to become heavier than Boren."

Mina froze in the middle of pushing another handful into her sleeve, then turned toward him with great offense written all over her little face. "Green bush, don’t compare me to fatty. I am collecting treasure with elegance."

Brutus opened one eye from where he was sprawled over a pile of shields and snorted.

"You look like a squirrel preparing for winter."

Mina immediately pointed at him. "Big hammer uncle, you are just jealous because your pockets are too small."

Boren did not respond to any of this because Boren was asleep.Somehow, in the middle of the aftermath, the fat man had found the softest mound of treasure available, which happened to be a pile of ancient silk, gold-threaded ceremonial robes, several cushions from unknown giant-era furniture, and a layer of coins underneath that probably made the least comfortable mattress in history.

He had collapsed onto it face-first and fallen asleep almost instantly, his mouth slightly open, one hand still clutching a half-eaten mana fruit, his round belly rising and falling peacefully as if he had not almost died several dozen times since entering the Vault.

A tiny stream of drool had already begun sliding down the side of his face onto a priceless embroidered robe that might have once belonged to a royal giant.

Sage looked at him for a few secondsthen looked at the robe, then looked back at Boren with a complicated expression. "That robe might be worth more than your entire family estate."

Gregor lifted his head slightly. "Wake him up then."

Sage shook his head. "No. Let him sleep. If he wakes up, he’ll eat something else."

Caelis, despite his exhaustion, gave a faint laugh while leaning against a broken chunk of marble. "That is probably the wisest decision you have made today."

Lyana smiled tiredly but said nothing, her eyes drifting toward the treasure piles with a mixture of disbelief and quiet pride.

She had never imagined herself standing in a place like this, much less helping gather enough wealth to change the entire fate of the Guild.

Her vines had carried warriors, caught falling companions, pulled down bubbles, saved Mina from falling, and helped transport treasure through areas filled with traps.

She had hidden her strength for so long that even Gregor had not known the truth, yet here, in this impossible treasury, her power had become one of the reasons they survived and succeeded.

Gregor seemed to sense her thoughts because he slowly pushed himself up with visible effort and looked at her.

For a moment, his usual teasing expression disappeared, replaced by something softer and more awkward.

"You did well," he said.

Lyana blinked.

Gregor scratched his cheek, clearly uncomfortable with being sincere. "I mean it. If not for your vines, half of us would have become stains on the floor."

Lyana lowered her gaze slightly, but a small smile appeared on her lips. "Thank you, brother."

Mina suddenly popped out of the gold pile again, coins falling from her hair as she shouted, "Big sis Lyana was amazing. She saved me, so I will allow her to take three shiny coins from my treasure."

Sage stared at her. "Your treasure?"

Mina hugged the gold pile protectively.

"Yes."

"The Guild collected that."

"I am part of the Guild."

"That does not mean all of it belongs to you."

She narrowed her golden eyes at him. "Petty uncle Sage, don’t be stingy. You already have many bubbles up there."

Those words made Sage’s gaze shift upward almost by instinct. The smile that had been on his face slowly faded, then returned in a more dangerous form.

High above them, far beyondthe emptied lower layer, hundreds of untouched bubbles still floated beneath the distant ceiling.

They drifted silently in clusters of gold, crystal, silver, violet, blue, and deep red, each one containing more treasures, more weapons, more tomes, more materials, more Skill Stones, and perhaps things even more valuable than what they had already collected.

Despite the mountains of wealth now surrounding them, despite the exhaustion weighing down every member of the Guild, despite the destroyed hall, the broken pillars, the dead golems, and the fact that they had already gained more than most powers could dream of obtaining in a lifetime, Sage felt his heart tighten with a familiar and shameless ache.

Greed. Pure, honest, painful greed. His eyes practically glowed as he stared at those bubbles, calculating how much more they could take, how many treasures still remained, how many future problems could be solved if they pushed just a little longer.

Gregor saw his expression and immediately felt a chill.

"No."

Sage slowly turned his head.."I haven’t said anything."

Brutus sat up slightly, his eyes narrowing. "You’re thinking it."

Caelis sighed. "He is definitely thinking it."

Lyana looked upward, then at Sage, and her tired face turned helpless. "Guildmaster. everyone is exhausted."

Sage remained silent for a few seconds, his eyes still shining as he looked at the untouched bubbles above them.

Valeria, who stood not far away amid mountains of golden scrap metal, looked perfectly fine, as if she had not just turned wave after wave of 4-5Star Knight-level golems into broken parts.

Her crimson sword rested calmly against her shoulder, her breathing was steady, and her expression remained as cold and unreadable as ever.

Seeing her like that only made Sage’s greed worse because somewhere in his mind a tiny voice whispered that as long as Valeriacould still fight, perhaps they could still take a little more.

He knew it was stupid. He knew it was dangerous. He knew every person around him was one bad trap away from collapsing completely.

But he also knew that opportunities like this did not appear twice.

So Sage slowly looked at the group, smiled as innocently as a greedy man could smile, and asked,

"Should we continue?"

The entire hall went quiet.
