Chapter 34: Chapter 33: Fractured part 2

Years ago within a bar, a younger Kaezan who had a neck-length hair and was wearing a black turtle neck and blue jeans, sat across a table, drinking beer with a group of people.

Among him were a dark skinned human woman, a chubby fair skinned male, a fair skinned male beastfolk, an orange haired fair skinned human woman and a dark skinned human male with a mohawk and a large beard.

"Congratulations, man!" The dark skinned woman said as she patted Kaezan on his back, "You’ve finally graduated from the university!"

"Our Kaezan is finally a big boy now!" The chubby human said with a smile.

"Hmph. Now you can say wholeheartedly that you’ve made your parents proud." The dark skinned male human said.

"Yeah. I mean, he is going to be a sailor, right?!" The orange haired woman asked as she glanced at the dark skinned human, "With his scores and all, he just needs to get the job."

"Regardless, I know his parents are proudly watching from above knowing how well their son is doing." The fair skinned male beastfolk said, "This is such a good moment. If only Balland was here to join in the celebration, but the guy said he has some matters to settle with his family."

"Well, I’m just happy to share this moment with you... All of you." Kaezan said as he glanced at his friends with a smile, "You have all helped me to get through with my education and I promise you, when I get this job, I’m gonna give you all a free ride on the ship."

"I’ll hold you to that." The orange haired female said with a smirk.

"Drink up! Drink up! You earned it!" The dark skinned female said as she placed another bottle of beer in front of Kaezan.

Time had passed as Kaezan was drunk, sitting on his chair while hiccuping, the dark skinned male walked towards Kaezan and sat by his side.

"Man, you really drank a lot." The man said to Kaezan.

Kaezan hiccupped a few times and smiled.

"Zat’s Vekause you kept vringing the druus to me." Kaezan replied.

"Druus?" The dark skinned man asked in confusion.

"He means drink." The orange haired female replied the dark skinned man.

"Yeah, zat’s whut I said... Druus..." Kaezan said.

Kaezan’s friends glanced at each other and the dark skinned man sighed.

"Listen... Kaezan... There is a favor we need from you." The dark man said.

"Huh? Whut iz it?" Kaezan asked.

"As friends, we are supposed to look out for each other, right?" The dark skinned male asked.

"Yeah..." Kaezan answered before he hiccuped again.

"We are going through some troubles and we need your help." The dark skinned man said.

"How kan I hellp you?" Kaezan asked, "Just say hit and I will helpp."

"Of course, you will. That’s why you are our little Kaezan." The dark skinned female said to him with a smile.

"Just... We are going to need you to sign this." The dark skinned male reluctantly said as he placed a document in front of Kaezan, "Once you sign it, our problems will be solved."

Kaezan stared at them for a while and hiccupped.

"Okay." Kaezan said.

Kaezan tried to use his fingers to write on the paper but the dark skinned female placed a pen in his hand.

The drunk Kaezan then stared at the pen for a time and was drawing the tip of the pen close to his left eye but the dark skinned female held his hand and gently placed it on the paper.

"Okay, now gently..." The dark skinned female said as she guided Kaezan’s hand on the document, "Now sign... Here."

After Kaezan had finished signing, the dark skinned male took the document, folded it and placed it in his pocket.

However as soon as he returned his gaze back to Kaezan, he found Kaezan fast asleep and snoring while spittle drooled out his mouth.

Silence hung among his friends, each carrying a subtle expression of guilt on their faces.

"We just set him up." The chubby man said.

"Yeah, this is messed up." The fair skinned woman said.

"I don’t think he is going to forgive us for this." The dark skinned female said.

"He will." The dark skinned human male said, "He’s Kaezan. He’ll definitely forgive.

Plus, when we get the results, we’ll make it up to him."

Currently as Caesar and Kaezan locked eyed with each other, Kaezan scowled at Caesar.

"You want to do this the EBW way?" Kaezan asked, "You want to do this the way of that filthy company?"

"Your choice, not mine." Caesar replied, "And let’s not act like you didn’t hit me with a low blow from behind and drop me on my head, earlier. So you have no room talk about the EBW way.

Either you drop the gold and walk away or get dropped."

"And like I said before, this gives me a perfect opportunity to see if I am truly ready for my upcoming match." Caesar said as she took her stance.

Kaezan’s right eye twitched as he gritted his teeth.

While Caesar gazed at him, she spoke in her heart.

"This guy... I have to be careful with him. Clearly in the state he’s in right now, if I get careless or let my guard down for a moment, he could kill me.

After all, the guys on the news did report that he bludgeoned nine guards to a coma with his barehands."

Caesar’s vision temporarily blurred again and gave her a slight headache which made her groan and cover her eyes.

At the moment she recovered, she instinctively weaved an incoming attack which turned out to be a gold artifact thrown at her.

However at the exact timing she dodged, it left her vulnerable for a clothesline from Kaezan which made her grunt in pain as soon as it connected between her throat and chest.

The impact behind the clothesline sent Caesar tumbling backwards on the ground violently until her back crashed against a tree, causing her to cough out spittle.

Caesar slightly hunched forward while clutching her throat.

Caesar coughed, gasped and panted for air but Kaezan not wanting to give her a recovering time, lunged towards her and punched her across her face.

Kaezan unloaded a furious storm of punches on Caesar’s body, grabbed her by her ears and headbutted her.

Kaezan headbutted Caesar two more times then punched her in the belly which made her grunt again before he tossed her to the ground.

Caesar tried to stand on all fours but Kaezan rushed in and swung his leg upward, kicking her square on the face which made her roll back on the ground.

Kaezan then mounted on top of her and started swinging his fist on her but Caesar was quick enough to raise her arms to guard, blocking every strike directed at her face.

Kaezan swiftly switched directions from trying to land hits on her face to punching her sides.

Caesar managed to push Kaezan off her and hastily stood on one knee.

Yet at the very moment she did, her eyes quickly scanned the environment but she didn’t see him.

"Huh? Where did he-?"

Before she could finish her thought, a mean drop kick from Kaezan out of nowhere connected to the side of her face which made a large spittle fly out of her mouth.

Kaezan then mounted on top of Caesar again and unleashed a barrage of punches on her face until Caesar became unresponsive.

Kaezan, seeing that Caesar was inactive, began to slowly relax, only for a hand to shoot forward and grab his collar, catching him off guard.

In a blink of an eye, Caesar headbutted Kaezan directly on the nose which made him grunt and move away from her.

Kaezan staggered back and covered his nose while Caesar stood on her feet and took her stance.

Kaezan lowly growled in anger and rushed towards Caesar with his fist raised to attack but Caesar stepped back to evade the punch.

Kaezan kept trying to swing at her but Caesar continuously dodged by stepping back.

Out of nowhere, Caesar landed a right jab on Kaezan’s face which moved him back a little.

Kaezan tried to retaliate but Caesar stepped back and landed a left jab on Kaezan’s face again.

Kaezan stepped back and ran towards Caesar again only for Caesar to act with two quick left jabs.

Despite the punches landing cleanly on his face, they didn’t seem to move him as Kaezan still tried to deliver another punch but Caesar ducked, wrapped her arms round Kaezan’s belly and performed a German suplex on the ground.

Kaezan groaned and held his head in pain as he tried to stand on his feet only for Caesar to land a knee to his face which left him laying on the ground.

Caesar mounted on top of Kaezan and started smashing her fists on his face but in the course of her punching him, the splitting head resurfaced again which made her groan and clutch her temple in pain.

That single moment gave Kaezan the chance he needed as he hastily slapped Caesar so hard across the face that it made her eyes roll up.

Caesar rolled on the ground but quickly stood on her feet.

Kaezan ran towards Caesar and threw a punch at her which she parried.

Kaezan hurled ferocious punches at Caesar but she repeatedly stepped backwards to dodge each and every one.

During his onslaught, Kaezan swung his arm only to pull it back mid-swing and grunted as he moved his knee forward to drive it hard against Caesar’s crotch.

However to his shock, Caesar was sharp and fast enough to see through his feint and block the incoming attack with both hands.

Caesar then raised her head to gaze at Kaezan and narrowed her eyes before she swiftly wrapped her arms round his back and performed a belly-to-belly suplex, causing to Kaezan groan at the moment he landed on his back.

Caesar lunged towards Kaezan to stamp her foot on his chest but Kaezan caught her ankle with his hand and tripped her.

Kaezan and Caesar both scrambled to their feet, however at the moment she turned around to gaze at Kaezan, he both swiftly and subtly picked up the dirt from the ground and threw it at her face, causing Caesar to cover her eyes.

Kaezan then brought out another gold item from his jacket and wasted no time in swinging it across Caesar’s head, which not only drew out blood at the moment it connected, eliciting a groan from her but also caused her to turn around and clutch her face.

Kaezan then went down on one knee, tightened his right fist as veins pulsed round his scleras while his irises glowed.

With a strong grunt, he swung his forearm upward between Caesar’s thighs.

The force behind his strike to her mound was so hard that her eyes widened and made her stiffen for a moment before she let out a pained moan and cupped herself.

Kaezan grabbed the back of Caesar’s head, rushed towards a tree and smashed her skull against it twice before he wrapped his arms round her belly and performed a German suplex.

However, Kaezan not being done, began to kick and stamp on her body repeatedly.

In the course of Kaezan kicking her, Caesar grabbed his leg with both hands and tripped him to the ground, buying herself time to get back on her feet.

At the moment she did, Kaezan stood on his and watched the bloodied Caesar set her stance while breathing heavily.

Kaezan growled and ran towards her to start throwing punches.

Each punch thrown, Caesar was stepping backwards to evade but due to the damages she had accumulated, her movements were now getting slower.

Right before Caesar could fully raise her arms to block an incoming punch, his fist moved past her defense and landed squarely on her face which made her reel from the strike as her entire world spun.

Caesar stepped back a little and subconsciously raised both arms to guard, covering herself up to prevent anymore of Kaezan’s fists landing on her face.

But Kaezan instead of striking her arms, switched to landing a punch on Caesar’s right rib which made her wince and step backwards.

As Caesar clutched her rib and her back met another tree, Kaezan moved his fist towards her face but she immediately moved out of the way, leaving his fist instead to strike the tree.

However, Kaezan showed no signs of pain as soon as his fist connected to the tree and caved it.

He quickly turned towards Caesar and chased after her.

Kaezan swung his fist at her but she dodged the strike, locked his arm between her arm and sides and swung her fist across his jaw while gritting her teeth.

The force behind Caesar’s swing made red saliva fly out of Kaezan’s mouth but Caesar continued striking his face.

Caesar then released her grip and swiftly swung her shin on Kaezan’s left rib which made him grunt in pain.

Caesar followed up her attack with a forearm to the temple, a chop to the chest and a palm strike uppercut that threw his head up and drew out another red spittle from his mouth.

Right before Caesar could land another punch, Kaezan spewed out the red saliva from his mouth onto Caesar’s eyes, making her groan as he temporarily blinded her in the act again.

Kaezan wasting no time, moved his fist towards her face but luckily for Caesar, she tripped before it could connect, narrowly avoiding his fist.

Using that chance, Caesar while falling, gritted her teeth and swung her leg upward, kicking Kaezan in the nuts so hard it made him throw his head up and brought out foam from his mouth.

Caesar, standing on one knee, wiped the blood out of her eyes and quickly moved towards Kaezan.

Caesar grabbed both of his legs and lifts them into her arms while Kaezan was clutching his damaged groin with both hands.

But before Caesar could make her next move, the headache came back again, causing her to release her hold on Kaezan.

Caesar stepped backwards, clutching her head in pain while groaning as the pain was becoming more unbearable for her to deal with.

She dropped on all fours and began to breathe rapidly while speaking in her mind.

"What... What the hell is going on? My body ... Feels so hot.

My head... I feel like I’m gonna-"

Her thoughts were interrupted by a swift and heavy kick across the face by Kaezan which caused her to roll on the ground.

Kaezan mounted on top of Caesar and began to pummel her face mercilessly with his fists.

"Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck you!!!" Kaezan said as veins pulsed round his face while carrying a deranged wide-eyed glare with his irises glowing.

After Kaezan had finished pummeling Caesar, Kaezan stared down at her as she was heaving repeatedly.

Kaezan then stood on his feet and kick Caesar across her head.

"Fuck you!"

Kaezan then walked towards Caesar’s legs, grabbed them and spread them apart before he leaped and landed a knee drop on her groin.

Despite the dazed state of Caesar, the pain was so intense that it made Caesar throw her head backwards with a cry of pure agony.

Caesar grasped her core firmly and turned to her sides repeatedly while moaning and quivering uncontrollably in pain.

Kaezan, wanting to end this once and for all, wrapped his limbs round Caesar’s body from behind, putting her in a sleeper hold.

Caesar despite her efforts to break free, weakly pulled at Kaezan’s arm as she was starting to lose consciousness.

During this moment, the memory of Nero Rogue placing her in the Rogue judgement guillotine choke replayed in her head.

Kaezan gritted his teeth and tightened the lock as he intended to knock her out.

Caesar’s headache kicked in again while her vision was slowly turning dark.

Caesar finally went limp, and Kaezan sensing this, began to breathe easy.

However, to his shock, Caesar’s right hand moved towards his forearm and in one swift motion, she somehow sunk her fingers deep into his arm which drew out blood.

This made Kaezan to slightly groan and clench his teeth in pain .

While this happened, a devilish smile formed across Caesar’s face.
